Really good video mate, I'm only new to your channel and you've already helped me alot in the HAAT. I've got my Jedi Rey and she is a whisker off G12. going to zeta her lead and BB8 unique.
That was amazing. Getting Luke today and then I will have all the toons used in the video. Already have zeta Rey lead with zeta bb8 and r2 so hope I can do anything near the damage you did in the video
The problem is that anyone can fill that role. The 2 basic teams that can do part of phase 2 all of phase 3 and all of phase 4 are CLS, Thrawn/R2D2 and BB8. But almost anyone can fill the other 2 spots, I have done zader and DS or Boba, I have used zHan and zPL, I've used zFinn and RT or Poe. I think the strongest one though, that I haven't been able to try, but I'd like to see someone try is zAsajj and weak zombie NS. If zombie NS dies enough to ramp up asajj's damage it could theoretically solo every phase, but I don't know the feasibility of it, especially phase 1&2.
Wish I would've worked Resistance Trooper to 7* while he was on 2 hard nodes. I'll have to work him. Waiting for CLS & RJT to come back around. I'll have 'em both unlocked this time they come around.
I tested it and I couldnt get it to work :/ perhaps I just had realllly bad rng, but I think it was just that I couldnt do enough dmg (so I think it is the exposed nerf)
Question, if you had bb8's roll with the punches, and you were using him for the assist train, could you sub rt for like aasaj? Would that even increase the damage?
Do you think RT is a better choice over zThrawn? I'm currently using a G12 Thrawn over a G11 RT. However, I failed p3 yesterday for the first time. Do you think I'd get a better result with RT?
Two times ive failed 20% of phase 3 i dont have luke binds zeta tho Main problem being b2 gettin turns, and his counters from rjt and rt going too fast and gettin out of stealth very quick Should i just take all speed from rt? And make im just a full damage dealer and 0 extra speed?
If so many players can solo it, how does the scoreboard Works then? Im not fully familiar with the Raid mechanic, but, if a Raid is started and someone just solo it, how other players can stand a chance of hitting it?
Does this still work since JTR was nerfed in raids? Also does the bb8 zeta hurt in p3 more, because he gets 5% tm every time he is attacked (Fearsome foe)? I just zetaed Roll with the punches and today I did less dmg than normal with my JTR resistance team in p3
Thanks for the video! I have a question if you have a minute. Could I substitute Finn for Resistance Trooper? My Finn is about 1.5 gear levels higher than my Trooper, and he could spam his special and perhaps take a hit or two and recover with his middle ability. I have JTR leader zeta and R2 Number Crunch Zeta, and all omegas for the entire team in your video. I also saw a video of a team with Scavenger Rey instead of CLS and while I believe your team to be superior, my Scav Rey is one of my strongest characters so if you could help me decide which characters to use and pick a single phase of HAAT that i should start working on, I would really appreciate it! Thanks again!
+Nathan Bellis finn could be a decent replacement for trooper until you have trooper ready. You won't deal as much damage, but you'll get at least some damage. Scav Rey works well, just have to be careful with her, especially in phase 3. In terms of what phase you can start working on, phase 2 is the easiest. It's pretty straightforward and nothing complex.
Okay I'll experiment around and find what works best while working towards the main team. I am liking Finn for his sustain middle option and I need to omega it still i think it gets a team cleanse or something? I've only tested on rancor but I like how his third ability can stun the trash mobs, apply an expose, but then apply another expose if he crits from jedi reys lead. I just finished getting the team together recently and i just went from 2m on rancor to 10m auto with my team haha. Tank starts soon thats when Ill test some substitutions youve mentioned to try on different phases
I've run this team for several HAATs and I cannot get through P3. My damage always caps at around 12M. I am using the strategies described in this video. My RT is only G10. Is that the issue or am I missing something?
I have a question if you have roll with punches and call bb8 who isn’t stealthed doesn’t that increase the chance of the b2 countering? I tried this team tonight and only got to 50% with 3 left on the b2’s enrage counter. Do I have the worst rng ever or what? My whole team is g12 and my speeds are faster than all of your is the video.
+Cyclone Fanatic assists can't be countered, so you have nothing to worry about there. Rng is sketchy for this team, as I had a lot of close calls in phase 3
brookz 1116 Honest...no. RT gains crazy TM from the expose train. Many have tried alternatives (in the sith raid as well) but the consensus is RT is irreplaceable. Save guild store currency so that you always have enough when he shows up there. It’s been a while, but I think it only took me around 2 months to get him all the way to 7*.
My Résistance trooper always dies in P4 by the airstrike because he always loose the Buff of bb8, because he goes so fast due to his unique. Clan you help me? What can I do diffrent? Or whats my fault?
Gay Hans secret Intel goes on character if you use a special, even if it's already there. So spam special speeds up bb8/jtr. It's about a third way through video (20ish% p2)
Just tried it first attempt, missing a few omegas and zetas, and low gear and bad mods.. I did 25% in pt 2 and was 0.24% left when they raged and I died, forgot to put it on airplane mode :(
What about Scav Rey in place of RT? Her damage output is INSANE and she can continuously rotate her specials with JTR lead. Just a thought. Keep up the great vids!
Still very good for a second resistance team in TW & TB, but depending on guild timing with HAAT, not likely to be useful there if you have jRey. Still a monster for GW, but since it's dumbed down, virtually any end-game team can auto it... so yeah, really just TB & TW for now.
Yeah I'm encountering a similar problem, all my toons are faster and slightly more geared than his, so my CLS somehow takes less turns in to remove TM on b2
Managed to do it, Roll with the Puinches doesnt help on p3, i feel it gives just enough tm to B2 so that I cant swing and remove it. altough it did spee dup the process on p4
+Sebastien Thauvette yeah, I would say that it would be best to call in assists with trooper for phase 3, with bb8 in phases 2 and 4 if you have the assist zeta
McMole2 That"s exactly what I did. I used assist on RT like you did for P3 and finished it with 7 turns left on enrage (b2 only resisted 2 CLS tm clear) Then P4 BB8 zeta just made it faster but it's already easy to manage with that comp.
I boosted speed more due to my arena shard getting tighter. BB8's speed at 284 combined with 4 resistance makes it that BB8 and JTR are so fast that CLS is never on time to speed down
So, would thrawn work better than R2? Eliminate the counter chance on p3 with fracture , and get the protection/TM boost from specials. I've been running jrey/bb8/cls/r2/thrawn, but I'm wondering if I should sub in RT
Thrawn could definitely work. I wanted to avoid using the big raid characters as much as possible because they're already used everywhere. I wanted to try something a little less meta
I don't think this works anymore, the nerf to expose damage doesn't let me get through p3 :( I can only get through roughly 60% of p3 with this team, and I actually have even faster mods on cls

You don't have to kill the B2's, because Rey her lead allows Resistance allies to remove TM on exposed targets which can't be resisted.

The woes of being a new player...
I'm not a new player and I've spent a bit and I still didn't get JTR. Just keep at it, find a friendly guild and have fun.
I'm just a kid who wants to play with all the new toys :( But I'm actually enjoying the game and yeah its pretty good.
That's why you should join a guild that runs heroic raids, they both drop amazing toons and you'll be able to beef up those toys pretty well.

I would avoid using bb8 on the assist because of that bonus turn meter. If anyone I would go for trooper

smokescreen on bb8. Since bb8 isnt attacking he will not be countered and stealthed characters cannot be countered.
But if you have roll with punches and use bb8 for attack the b2 will counter cause he’s not stealthed

+Robert Wilson I've seen her do well with this team. You will just have to be careful in phase 3, as her flurry can give the b2 a lot of turn meter

+zach crouch jyn is probably not going to work because she doesn't have a way to regenerate protection. Thrawn could be a good substitute
zach crouch if you replace R2 with Thrawn then you can use Jyn, that way he can give her protection, also she can get him back to fracture faster.
Is there a reason why you mainly use R2's burn in P3 and his basic in P4? Is charging Illuminated Destiny more important in P3?

zeta on both gives you 2 resistance teams for t wars
If you're short on time zfinn in place of cls can fully auto 30%ish of p3 and all of p4. That's what I use.

+Andy Bell maybe. Trooper does a lot for helping with exposes. If you have the zeta on bb8 for assists, then it would be something to try out

Can I tell you an advice? Use Zolo instead of trooper and you will easily solo p3 with him in this team ;) Also do a nice amount of dmg in p4!
Thanks for the advice, but I just switched over to an ABC team and am now doing 10-20% of P2, and all of P3 and P4 :)
