Hey MG, the 3rd ability on Reaper is best used after you bring Scimitar out, use Scimitar to stealth all but the regular TIE, then grant the regular TIE defense up and Protection up just in case he doesn’t dodge.

being a FTP player, i'd recommend Sun Fac's Starfighter as back up also. he's not as tanky as biggs, but he also has auto-taunt and can hold fairly well until tarkin's ultimate is ready to launch if things are going nasty...

When you give kylos command shuttle retribution from the schimtar he gets protection up everytime it counters. Even a 4 star shuttle becomes an extremely viable tank

At last someone remembered to give some love to the ships.Its so rare.I agree with most, I too kill the reaper always first and the damn tie fighter last,especially if the enemy capital ship is Executrix.The ammount of dodges you get vs the enemy is basically what wins the match lol.Who gets off first the ultimate.

Wouldn't mind a beginners video for ships though and the best *(EASIER TO OBTAIN)* Pilots and ships. Ahnald told me he's got one in the works, but maybe you guys could do a collab on one, you're videos together are great.
Just get the ships for Wiggs and Fives to start (Fives is easy to farm, Wiggs is probably already in your arena squad) and use the starter ships you get (Ashoka and Jedi consular are probably the next best ones). Get Tie advanced, Tie fighter, Slave 1 and Scimitar. It will take a while but if you start farming them from the start you'll get them the quickest in your shard. Then farm up phoenix for Thrawn and his ship. When I just reached level 60 I stayed around rank 200 in fleet arena for the 1200 fleet token payout, and couldn't climb higher because I was farming Tie advanced, Slave 1 and Scimitar. As soon as I unlocked those ships (and unlocked them first, because everyone else was brainlessly upgrading Geonosian soldier), I easily hit rank 10, and never dropped out of the top 100 again.
Get Biggs, Imperial Tie Fighter and First Order Tie fighter (when they pop up) from the Galactic war shipments and get TIE Advanced, Slave 1 and Scimitar from the fleet shipments. These are the base ships you will need. I use these with Chimera and im top 3 each day, although they are awesome with Tarkin early on as well.
Definitely farm Slave One from the start. It's so useful in attacks and a pain in the arse when on the opposite side. Of all ships I hate facing Slave One the most.
Great videos as always do you not find a need for ahsonas ship or masked kylo Ren to be able to remove Buff's on opponents like immunity to Critical Hits

If you use Vader's special on TFP after you've already target-locked him, you inflict evasion down and remove all his turn meter, taking away a turn from TFP and allowing your other guys to hit him.
My only problem with Tarkin is that you need to spread out target lock for your team to do more damage, which is rather difficult because there is always a Biggs on the enemy team taunting. Meanwhile, Thrawn's Chimera gives increased crit dmg regardless so you get demolished and outdamaged by chimera before you can gain that damage buff, plus the Chimera can debuff all your ships and buff its ships. It's a superior choice to the Executrix unfortunately because you can easily annihilate a Tarkin team with Chimera before any ultimates come into play thanks to the insane dmg on First order Tie Fighter, Slave One, etc.
I feel like with the addition of more capital ships factions like the Resistance and First Order will gain relevance especially with ships like the Silencer and Falcon but its hard to beat all the Empire characters especially with the Chimera.
You want to prioritise rebel ships so you can get the Chimaera. Wedge, Biggs, Ghost, Phantom and Cassians U-Wing are all important. Non rebel ships you should farm ASAP are the TIE Fighter, Umbaran Starfighter and Slave 1
+MobileGamer I beat Tarkin and Thrawn ships daily with Mace's ship. I think it's really under rated. My shard is about even thirds Tarkin, Thrawn and Mace and we can all take each other out.
I use endurance, and I can almost always kill Executrix teams. I use my shiled every time the opponent can use his barrage. I run Biggs, Vader, 5's, Tie reaper and Imperial tie. The only time I have difficulty using endurance is chimaera. That said I'm only ever between 250 and 100 using this set up.
I enjoy ships but hate how it's basically a race to using's the capital ship's ultimate ability (or blasting the other fleet before it can use his special). One thing that also kinda bugs me is how Biggs taunt doesn't have much synergy with many Rebels. Unless paired with certain Rebel ships like Cassian's U-wing, he is basically useless with other Rebels (compared to how amazing he is when paired with a group of target-locking Tie fighters). It would be nice to see a more viable LS ship introduced into the game at some point in the near future. I dunno if the devs thought making the DS capital ships OP (and therefore the DS ships) would make up for all the lack-luster DS toon, but that's not working out too well. Unless they DRASTICALLY expand ships to be more like toons (more challenges, campaigns, hardware, etc), they should just balance out LS/DS power on both fronts to the best of their ability.
I wish we had some kind of table on how pilot zetas effect ship stats. For example, my guildmate zetaed Boba and his 5* Slave 1 was approximately like my 7* Slave 1 without zeta on Boba (both gear 11). Also, I gave second zeta to Thrwan and it just gave extra 3k of power to the ship, but nothing in the stats (or I just missed it).
I agree. i personally think the Zeta skews the ratings. My Falcon has Finn zeta'd - he is ranked #4 in my ships for power but only lvl 41 and dies after one hit. Not effective at all - the ship might have the power and show high in your line up but it is still ineffective.
Im top 10 on my shard, Admiral A capital with Ahsoka, Fives, Rex, Plo and Jedi councular (almost impossible to lose ships due to Rex synergy, councular protection and Admiral A clense at the start and constant assist protection). Subs are Gauntlet, Ghost, Phantom and Bastian U-Wing. depending on what I'm left to deal with , I always win. Ahsoka's starfighter is key in my setup, since from all the ships, it appears she's the most hard hitting of them all and that dispel should be nurfed.Most damage she dealt was 79k damage on Slave 1.
Crystals need to expand beyond top 20 to garner interest in fleet. No one cares to put effort into something that doesn’t give crystals. Should have crystal rewards for top 500, definitely for top 200.
The Chimaera is the better ship overall, but the Executrix is a bit stronger currently, simply because it gets it´s ultimate first. Chimaera´s better abilities give it a slight edge in mid-game and in the occasion of surviving Executrix´ Ultimate, as Chimaera´s ability heals 1 ship completely. But this also means that the Chimaera has more potential and will probably outclass the Executrix in the forseeable future as more strategies will appear.

I am more often than not #1 in my Ship Arena, and I DON'T use Tie Reaper, Tie Figther, Tie Advanced x1 or The Gauntlet. I use a Thrawn lead with Maul, Boba, Fives, Plo Koon and Bistan. :)
Just steadily farm the best toons, eventually you'll catch up in arena. There's a limit to how strong any character can get, so once you have the top characters at gear 12 your team is just as strong as the people at the top of arena.
I'm still rocking about 80 percent Republic / 20 percent Rebel with the Endurance as my cap. No Imperial ships needed and I still land top 5, usually 1 or 2 and never get out of the top 10. Most of the fleets in my shard have shifted to the Chimera with Empire fleets and I destroy them fairly easily.
I have Poe as a reserve ship for when I want to knock out a Tie Fighter. Poe's special ability is an instant crit that can't be evaded against ships without protection and he can one shot kill Tie Fighter.
Also, why no love for the Falcon?!? That ship can wreck an entire fleet when used correctly. It's single-handedly saved my ass sooo many times in tough fleet battles.
On my shard all teams are thrawn, fo tie, tie, biggs, reaper, vader. All are 7*, 85, g12 with biggs, fo, and tie. What I don't get is in top 15, I often have my fo tie or tie get one shot by abilities, but when I attack, I can never 1 shot fo tie. If ships and pilots are all the same, why does defense consistently 1 shot, and me on offense consistently can't one shot? I have checked every time and both fo ties are 40k power and mirror matches so no extra synergy.

Shuttle also gives the capital ship TM when using Strike Team on an ally. It's a versatile ship, just awful when controlled by AI
That was why I used Akhbar a long time since he does the same with pretty much ever rebel ship as soon as they attack out of turn.

My top 50 is currently 49 Chimeras, and 1 Ackbar sitting at rank 48 currently. I hope we get more variety in fleets soon.
You can use Vaders special for the Tie Fighter. It puts evasion down ;)

I think you should use Vader's special ability when TFP is target locked. By doing this, TFP won't dodge easily and you can take him down quickly.

With the Scimitar I make the Tie Fighter poke out to give the Chimera turn meter
TR can use his 3rd ability to add protection to Biggs. Also, I avoid Executrix AOE since Imp TIE usually dodges.
I think Poe‘s Ship is also great vs the Imp Tie Fighter with his 1st Special Attack.

I hit 120k today with my tie fighter special. My jaw bounced it hit the floor so hard

You can routinely hit for over 100k with FOTF when it uses strafe

Devyn Newell my starting lineup is Jedi Consular, Biggs, Fives, Rex, Clone Sarge. My reserves are Wedge, Poe, Cassian, Ahsoka.
