AEROSMITH FACTS
-American rock band formed in Boston in 1970.
-The band’s style is rooted in blues-based hard rock but they’ve also incorporated elements of pop rock, heavy metal, glam metal, and rhythm and blues.
-By the end of the 1970s they were amongst the most popular hard rock bands in the world.
-Drug addiction and internal conflict led to the departures of Perry and Whitford in 1978 and 1981 but they returned to the band in 1984.
-The band had a comeback tour and one album which did not meet commercial success.
- It wasn’t until 1986/1987 that they caught the attention of the world again with their collaboration with rap group Run DMC on a remake of “Walk This Way”.
-The band went on to achieve worldwide success, once again throughout the late 1980s and 1990s. Their comeback was described as one of the most remarkable and spectacular in rock history.
Steven Tyler - Lead Vocals
Joe Perry - Guitar
Tom Hamilton - Bass
Joey Kramer - Drums
Brad Whitford - Guitar

Thanks so much for including me in your compilation, I really appreciate it 💗
Hi! Thank YOU, so much for doing them. Also for taking the time to come here and say hello!
@@WonderMommaOG thank YOU BOTH..... I am fan-girling..... and simping..... imagining WonderMomma In Bed With Music...... it's like girl power on steroids.
I almost said "like girl power on crack" but that sounded all sorts of wrong.
sorry.
I'll make a better comment next time..... you two got me all flustered showing up together like this..... it's like one of those Avenger movies with just the hot chicks.
@@JuandeFucaU 😅🤣 Hilarious! Be careful about following that thing around your whole life! lol Appreciate your comment!
@@WonderMommaOG you’re so welcome. Also, seriously, amazing work on the edits. I make mine as simple as possible and they take SO long-I can only imagine how much work goes into yours 😳
@@JuandeFucaU hahahaha fancy seeing you here. 💗
I don't know a thing about how these vids are edited. Seems to me they'd be a real chore to make well. Kudos to whomever is editing these. Also, the goats had me rolling.
That would be me! I produce, edit and upload everything for this channel. They are quite a chore... but... the music and the reactions make it very worth while. Editing for me is therapeutic. lol Thank you for watching!
@@WonderMommaOG you are a straight up legend
@@damarisgutierrez8351 😊 Wow, thank you. 😳💜
I do agree! I’ve watched many of these on their own but seeing them all together is amazing!
@@WonderMommaOG you got yourself a new subscriber
This song was from their first album in 1973 and what blows my mind is they perform this EXACTLY the same way today--high note and all. I swear, Steven Tyler is a freak of nature. 🥰
The version on "Last Action Hero" soundtrack is my favourite
I feel like that depends which Steven Tyler you get. He sung anthem at a hockey game I went to and you can tell how bad the surgeries affected him.
I saw them and they're great live.
@@cloudconnected5230 That's too bad.
I noticed one person recognized this was sampled for Eminem's song 'Sing for the Moment'. Lead singer Steven Tyler performed the song with Eminem for his Hall of Fame induction in 2022. Awesome song.
Don't believe for a second that they haven't heard Dream On before.
Aerosmith is a band that stood the test of time. Steven Tyler wrote this one at 14 years old. 👍👍🎹🎹🎹🎹🎹🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Ahhhhhh 🐐All day! Till this Day!!! Ahhhh!!!!!!!
The goats had me 😂😂😂😂💀💀💀
And Steven wrote this sitting at a piano, when he was just 17. Wisdom is natural.
You could say he’s the ‘goat’ ;)
@@catmaxwell6691 That was Baaaaaaahaaaaaaaad...
...but in the good way. Lol
@@BrianTheDeadhead Anthony Hopkins, as Hannibal, “..you wake up in the dark to that screaming of the lambs, Clarice”, then cut to the Steve Tyler, screaming, heh.
I love Lex. "How come that song was like, kinda chill, but it was kinda lit?"
As a kid in the 70s and 80s, I grew up in the period in which this tune got its share of radio airplay on the rock and roll stations. But I didn't truly appreciate it for its music nor for its thoughtful words. But time changes us, and today in my fifties I consider this one of the best songs of the Seventies-- and one of the greatest rock songs ever recorded. I eventually came to understand the sentiment, and it blows my mind that someone so young, lead singer Steven Tyler, could pen such deep and profound lyrics ... I mean, looking in the mirror at the wrinkles becoming deeper, and trying to cherish one's time today because any day now God can call you home. Just, wow. It's a distinct pleasure today to see music lovers experiencing this song, for the first time here on UA-cam. Good music is always loved and will always be appreciated.
Here's the song performed on the TV show "Midnight Special", taped in the summer of 1974:

I absolutely love how music brings us together
Absolutely 😊
Music knows no bounds. Music is for everyone. Music is everything and everything is Music.
as the great pessimist Friedrich Nietzsche said “Without music life would be a mistake.".
Seen Aerosmith in concert, it was on my bucketlist. This is my favourite song by them. When he brought out his white piano, I cried from the beginning to end! Love seeing people love them too! ❤🇨🇦
This is one of the best screams in rock music!
I wasn't much of an Aerosmith fan back in the day, but this song is in my Top 5 greatest Rock songs ever !!
Same... grew up with this and though not my fav group, this undeniably a masterpiece.
There is no doubt that we had an era where music was the best.
You should've seen it live from the front row in 1985. I was with six of my best friends in HS singing along with 10,000 others. Time kind of stood still and we had the time of our lives. That song and their albums were part of the soundtrack of my HS days. Even though it's probably the most overplayed hit by Aerosmith as far as radio goes...you can totally understand why.
I graduated in '85 but I've never been able to see them live. 😢
And a Blind The Voice audition, along with judges' performance
Just had to comment that that goat opening was milk-snort hilarious. Bravo, sir and/or madam. Bravo.
😁
I love to watch these complication videos. The younger generation's reaction to the classics is awesome. They have no idea what they missed! Great job!
You continue to amaze me.
You are the Spielberg of showing reaction videos.
If there was an Oscar for UA-cam? You definitely would win. Seeing these young people hearing the music that I grew up with? Is incredible.
Wow! Spielburg and Oscar. Quite a compliment. Thank you so much.
I’ve loved this song since the 70’s and it never gets old…and never will!!! ❤🤘🤘
Glad I witnessed this era of music and the changes it brought to the world.
Back when I was in my early teens I was taking piano lessons & when this song came out my mother bought me the sheet music for it. One of my all-time favorite songs.
My buddy and I drove down the country road singing this song and I swear I could hit those dream on high pitches.
Almost 50 years later, and still a banger.
Heard this when it came out in 73, when I was 13.
Always liked this song, but then Steve Tyler sang it as a tribute to the Boston Marathon victims and survivors on a special after the bombing and now I love it and tear up every time I hear it.
Steven is the best!
I swear I felt that high note in my SOUL
Aerosmith has many great songs...a rabbit hole worth exploring. We definitely had da bomb music!! 😁😉☮️❤
This...song...rocks....
And when the Deamon of Screaming just sings, Mister Steven Tyler...you steel my feels away❤
Even the goats love this song 😁.
I've seen Aerosmith in concert five times. They left it all on stage Everytime. Their concert tour for Permanent Vacation album was the best of the five.
AEROSMITH The Bad Boys From Boston, although they met and formed in New Hampshire, are one of America's greatest Rock and Roll Bands. Steven, Joe, Brad, Tom and Joey keeping it real for fifty plus years, and this song was just the beginning. So many other great tunes to choose from, have fun listening to them all for the first time. And ENJOY!!!
Hi everyone! I've been asked a few times how people can donate to the channel so I've put the links at the top of the description. I just want to make it clear, I'm not doing this for the money, subs, likes or views... just the music and memories! I won't ever solicit for these things in my videos as it was never in my plan to do so. Of course, anything sent will go towards improving my ability to make these videos but it's ok if you send nothing. 💜 Thanks to everyone who keeps coming back and enjoying my work! I appreciate you. #seehumanbehuman
Thank you! So much. The music and the reactions are both beautiful!
This was huge in the mid 1970s ,,The good ol days
The first minute of this is the funniest thing I’ve seen in a long while. Great editing, thanks you.
Lmao 🤣 🤣 🤣 the 🐐 killing me
Had to stop at .29 in to stop laughing my ferkin ass off..the goats are epic !
Remembered at one time Nike used this as a commercial TV ad.... it was so awesome!
His vocal for this entire song is amazing
Masterpiece Song and Album best Aerosmith '70
Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Aerosmith: my picks in college in the late 70s. Add in Rush, Lynyrd Skynyrd, AC/DC and you're feeling it. And you can't forget The Stones, David Bowie, and Neil Young. The list is long. Classic Rock, music of a stoner generation.
I remember listening to this song when it first came out. 10th grade I think. I was blown away... 👍
I can't even with the goats!
They are great in concert. Much love to you and your families 😊Brandi Modrak 💕❤
Chills. I ge chills STILL after alll these years, every time I hear this track.
What I really dig about your edits is how you leave room for the post-song reaction. Watching new listeners basking in the afterglow of the song is my favorite part of these reactions.
You earned this sub. Awesome work!
Really appreciate this! Thank you!
Right?? That's why I subbed, too.
@@timmholl9238 Thank you! Welcome!
Pumping em out lately, lady. Great work as always. Keep it up!
This is another song that's in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Literally. it's an official award few songs ever get
This was my brothers Senior song in 1976….still a banger. ♥️
1977 here! those were the days!!!!
The 70s BANGED HARD ,,
This and "Back in the Saddle" are my fave Aerosmith tunes. You should do
"B.i.t.S." too. It's rollin'!
Love to see these!!
Adore this song too!! ❤👍🏽
Aerosmith's "Stairway"
Damn- none of y’all recognized Eminem sampled this some time back. Or y’all never heard them sing their hit Walk this Way with Run DMC ?? I was a teenager when this came out in the 7o’s. Don’t limit yourself to one genre of music- keep exploring- you’ve been missing out on so much.
Goat intros made this for me
Thank you. I'm finding that people either love them or hate them. lol
Not sure what you musical background is, but, just in case they’re new to you…
Check out David Bowie: fame, life on mars, space oddity
Peter Gabriel: sledgehammer, in your eyes, big time (best video of the 80s, a truly beautiful song, just for fun)
Tom waits: hope that I don’t fall in love with you (album version)
Music is my first love. All genres. Try me😉
@@beauxjames1419 I was born in '72... and music has been life's blood for me since about age 5. I too listen to all genres.
From Erik Satie - Gynopedies & Gnossienes
to Spiffy Man, Tor, Portishead, Thievery Corporation to Motley Crew, Cinderella, Heart, Rush, Led Zep, the Who, Joe Cocker, Harry Chapin... Tyler Childers, Charlie Pride... to Chicane, Massive Attack, to Carmina Burana.
Another major game changer for me as far as music was concerned is the documentary "Alive Inside". I didn't really need convincing of music's power... but that film certainly confirmed everything I already knew. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this film to anyone who loves music.
Trailer: ua-cam.com/video/fVkrI1R0XjA/v-deo.html

I believe it's still on Netflix.
Lady, Kudos to you, I have watched most of those reactions, and to put them all together and create another video that I enjoyed AWESOME.
Music has the ability to transcend generations and bring them together.
Yesssss. This song is everything great about the 70's.
this made me happy. thanks for putting it together!
The reactions to that great Steven Tyler voice. Then that great Joe Perry guitar. I'm surprised there weren't pauses when Steven hits the high notes.
Love the young people getting hip to some classic rock, peace
Eminem use this for Sing for the Moment.
And if you watched the Hall of Fame induction you'll see that Aerosmith comes out on the stage to perform with Eminem.
I know I'm officially a old man , a video of kids listening to Aerosmith and they have never heard of them 😪
I truly enjoy these.please keep it up.
This lady is the best at these videos.
The 70s and 90s music was always about what's going on in the world and how people feel
There was a little rap group in 1988 who came and told everyone what was happening in the hood. Just don’t forget them please
Aerosmith is a great choice. So many hits from such a great band. Another great editing job.
I'm hoping to see 2 of my favorite songs I've seen people react to soon.
Dream until your dream come true …awesome words
I love me some Aerosmith ❤
Excellent choice!! I have no idea why this isn’t on my iTunes .. I love Aerosmith. So thank you :) I was also waiting for the mention of the sample used for Eminem’s sing for the moment. X
This was the music I lived on in the 80's as a teenager
As always, nice job, WonderMommaOG. I'd love to see a ODB one, the master of OG hip-hop.
Rakim too , the illest the biggest the sickest THE GOD MC
Great job again! Can't believe it took me this long to watch it
Joe Perry is now playing with Alice Cooper and Johnny Depp in The Hollywood Vampires. Has also been on tour in Europe with Johnny last month.
So glad to see / hear you all react. Song saved my life.
Listen to this song on You tube is one thing.......Listening to it in a car loud, driving down a country road on a summer day whole different experience
Whoever thought goat sounds was a good idea for UA-cam video is obviously high on angel dust.
I did. lol well at least for this video. Promise I'm not high on anything.
Now you know my babies! The rock from the late 60s to the Punk of the 80s is the deal. I'd live to see you guys react to the Talking Heads..
-------------
Lmao, you made cough out a hit with the goats. Awesome add in
Guys. You got to watch the cover of this by Morgan James with PostModernJukebox!!!!!
Excellent reactions - but I kept wishing they had all seen a live or performance video (maybe they did & it didn't show in the compilation?) - watching Stephen Tyler perform is a treat in itself.
Best compilation channel on UA-cam ... No debating !
Take me here!!!! My appreciation left the building so long ago. Thousands upon thousands I've listened to Dream On. To go back again and listen for the first time..i HAVE FORGOTTEN! I see what's happening here. People are listening & perceiving in a way that is across the board ALL THE SAME!..as if everything has flipped. In other words, an appreciation that is very different. Don't get me wrong..I had my time with this song long ago BUT today its different. Different in a very great way. Waking up way.
I wish i had 5 dollars
Pivoting from gaming content to these compilations is a great step 👍 keep ‘‘em coming!!!!
Have seen these live. Truly amazing,Steve Tyler is fantastic
Wish I could have given you a hundred Likes. The reactions were priceless. 😊
💜 Thought that counts! Thank you.
I have a new significant other and her name is WonderMommaOG. You go girl.
I bought the 45* of this song when it came out and played it over and over. It sure has stood the test of time.
* For the Youngins-
a 45 was a small vinyl record, approx 6" across, that had one song on each side. The hole in the center was much larger than on an LP (Long Play) record approx 12" diameter, so an adapter was needed to mount the disc on the turntable ...why? Dunno, one of life's mysteries. It is called a 45 because you had to play it at 45 RPMs (Revolutions Per Minute). Your turntable had to have the capability of playing at various speeds because the larger LPs played at 33 1/3 RPMs, and could hold abou 23 minutes per side. This concludes today's lesson on how weird the past was
The G.O.A.T. LOL
I'm blessed my parents raised me on classic rock.
Im late to the party but those goats were frickin hilarious :) Well done!
Wrote this song during a HS study hall period staring out the windows... brilliant
Seen aerosmith live when they did their promo tour and then again for toys in the attic, back when tickets prices were like 5-8$ Damm those were the days. Yea I was young like them back then
Having been a teenager when this stuff, and lots of other great stuff, I am always amazed when people don’t know this stuff. Thank God for these reaction channels.
LOVED THIS!!!
Thirty-seven seconds in. This had better be the last I see of screaming goats or someone will pay for the sacrilege!
I'm 67 and grew up with all these older groups and will say they really don't make music like that anymore. I grew listening to all music. My life was like Sly And Family Stone song EVERYDAY PEOPLE.
Steven Tyler(the singer for you reactors) wrote the lyrics at age 14 and the music at age 17. Written by a teenager with the clarity of a much older and longer lived person. Kind of speaks to the idea of a person having and old soul.
I have watched so many of your other videos and thoroughly enjoyed them...but them damn goats 🐐 still kill me..arrgghhh...lol...keep up the great work darlin...
lol Yeah... people either really love them or really hate them.
thanks for the work work you put into this video
The GOAT blending was ahhhhmazing.
😂😅 Thank you. People either really love that part... or really not love it at all. lol
great!
Being married to a videographer, I’ve learned a few things. Your editing is awesome. The goats being added were great. Are you sure my wife doesn’t work for you on the side? That is something she would definitely do. Outstanding video. Keep them coming.
😅
