Finally a young man who speaks clearly, slow.and makes sense when you talk, your parents should be proud, I'm 61 And I learned something new today thanks for taking your time to make this video.
when i was a kid at the boys and girls club back in the early 90's i would do a lot of shut outs , i used to be so good at this game. id get shut outs (perfect game , get every ball in 1 shot) a lot. i miss playing
ya, that's the only problem with this game. It's a little too easy. I almost got a bumper pool table for my first house I bought because of room-size restraints for a normal pool table... but I just couldn't get myself to do it. Definitely a fun game. But, idk. It's not pool.
Great, concise instruction! I am planning my "Man Cave" and a full-size billiard table will take up too much space, so I am buying a Bumper Pool table.
I found my table at a thrift store. I got it really cheap because no one knew what it was or how to play the game. Thanks for the instructions. I'll have to practice quite a bit before I let my grandkids play lol.
When you male a jump shot, It's considered a penalty. The other player can then take two of his balls off the table. If you shoot a ball off the table, the other player can put the ball anywhere they want on the table, It does not have to be placed in the middle, & remove two of his balls from the table.
That is correct, these were house rules we played with growing up. I added that to the description so hopefully that helps! Never expected this to get so many views lol
Man, my dad wanted to play with me once, but he got mad cause the guy that rented tables didn't allow us to hit each others balls, so it eliminated all defense plays. He really wanted to get me into pool, but most places that had tables required me to be at least 18 around here. Sadly he passed before that ever happened.
At the beginning of the video the red balls were set up at the wrong end of the table and vise versa. Red balls defend the red bumpers and white balls defend the white bumpers at the ends of the table. Also need to explain what happens when both players sink the initial spotted ball. Thanks for putting this together.😊
I hate to break it to you but making the ball jump is an illegal move and doing so is punishable in the same way as causing a ball to go off the table.
About 4 feet long by 3 feet wide between the cushions (note that this is different from the typical 2-to-1 length to width ratio of most forms of billiards tables). Tables are typically 4 and a half or so feet long when the cushions and rails are included.
Have a question when you hit the dotted ball in first do you have to hit one ball at a time in the hole or can you hit any of them at any time after that or does it have to be one ball at a time in the hole
11 years late, but jump shots are illegal in normal bumper pool and if you do it, is the same as making it in your own hole. Opponent gets to take off two balls.
So let’s say a person hits it off the table and they have to put the ball in the Middle. Does that person need to get that ball out of the middle first before continuing to play the rest of the balls?
First, these dudes look super Xtreme because they aren't covered in hip hop crap and attempting to be the next influencer....now, being normal has become the new exotic thing. That said, notice that this video is 10 years old...so these guys are, what, 28 yr old now? Also, thanks, I had no idea how to play that game.
Its not a real competition table a real competition table is bigger and 2 holles are smaller on a real bumper pool table i play it in belgium in competition there are a lot more rules when you want 2 play it the good wat
Now I know how to play bumper pool AND impress the ladies
Hahaha!

Look into bar box tables. You'd be surprised what a 54 inch cue and a bar box table can fit in
Very concise and viable for immediate gameplay. Great video editing and game play narration. Thank you.
underrated sport
So we just gonna ignore the reflection in the window at the end of the video?
I saw that too
This was for a 10th grade English project, that guy lost 10% of his grade for that hahaha

Thank you! This brings back fun memories 😊I had a bumper pool table. I showed my boys your video.
Thanks for the explanation. Had no idea how to play this prior to watching this video.
You guys did great! Totally understand the game. You will do great in life.
Bumper pool is a blast. I'm surprised its not bigger. When I was a kids we had bumper pool and by the time I was in 6-7th grade I could run the table.
Thank you for this. Better explained than most
Hey man nice video thanks now I know how to play bumper pool

I know that a lot of people just play It for fun in their rec room, I just wanted to clarify some of the main rules.

You should invite someone in your life to play some pool in your dad's honor :-)

Your jump shot wasn't legal, lol... cute vid though... Keep creating...~~Just me, RD
What's the length of your pool sticks?
I hate to break it to you but making the ball jump is an illegal move and doing so is punishable in the same way as causing a ball to go off the table.
Platypus of Death it is illegal to scoop the ball is not your legal to jump the ball there is a proper way to hit the ball to jump it
What happen if you hit your ball into an opponent ball and make it in their pocket?
thanks for the great vid.
Jesus Mark really got a hold of that jump shot
If I hit the daughter ball in first can I hit any of the remaining balls out of order or do I have to hit one ball in at a time ?
This game is currently my hobby, since a few months, but we play at much bigger tables
Have you ever played 3 hole bumper pool?
Outstanding video
What size is the playing area. ?
About 4 feet long by 3 feet wide between the cushions (note that this is different from the typical 2-to-1 length to width ratio of most forms of billiards tables). Tables are typically 4 and a half or so feet long when the cushions and rails are included.
Good game. Looks fun.
Any one else look this up cause of Brooklyn 99
Nine nineee
Yep I was lmao
I came here cause of the American Dad bumper pool episode
jumping the ball is an illegal shot and the opponent would be able to place 2 of their balls into their hole. So definitely don't jump. haha
Have a question when you hit the dotted ball in first do you have to hit one ball at a time in the hole or can you hit any of them at any time after that or does it have to be one ball at a time in the hole
Diana f after the dotted ball goes in, they can go in any order!
11 years late, but jump shots are illegal in normal bumper pool and if you do it, is the same as making it in your own hole. Opponent gets to take off two balls.
So who won the game?
Jumping the balls over the bumpers or other balls is illegal
So let’s say a person hits it off the table and they have to put the ball in the Middle. Does that person need to get that ball out of the middle first before continuing to play the rest of the balls?
no unless it is the spot ball
what happens if you both put the initial dotted ball in the hole on the first shot?
you go to the next ball of the shooters choice but must shoot to the right on the count of 3
The rules I read stated jumping bumpers or balls was totally illegal shots.
Hey thanks man!
Pretty good guys👍
best video
Watching in 2021
no no no.you can not jump your ball...
ive done a few behind the back shots on ladies
American Dad brought me here lol
Thank you
