Helpful video. I’m trying to load one of my own panoramic photos as a background using the Colour option in World Properties but the image doesn’t show. What am I doing wrong? Thanks
Thank you. I really do not know what you are doing wrong as I cannot see the blend file. Have you tried to load it from an image file instead of the colour option?
@@blendon1967 yes clicking on Colour let’s one choose a jpg file when then shows it’s path in the box but the image doesn’t show in the viewport behind my model. I guess I can send you a link to Dropbox where I can put a screen grab?
@@blendon1967 Thanks. Blender is quite a bewildering app! But I’m learning fast. Yes I also tried Add- Image-Background which did put a visible image behind my model but when I exported it all it was no where to be seen so I guess that background was not ‘integrated’ properly into the model
That' good that it worked for you. Maybe I might have done something wrong with the zip file because it did not work for me. Thank you for letting me know.
Hi, I got it working by adding the files manually like in the video, then preferences/add-ons/install and instead of selecting the zip, go to the scripts/addons/EasyHDRI-1.0/ and select the .py file. Only then I got it listed and was able to enable.

I've followed your steps, but my easy HDRI doesn't appear in the preferences - add-ons
I really don't know what to say. Where did you put the add-on when you downloaded it?.
