It absolutely is talent! But if you think that all computer-sequenced music is talentless then it just shows you have no idea what goes into making it.
Saying music created on a computer isn't hard work is just insane. It's just as hard on a computer, 1 producer has to understand how to play 5+ instruments. If you think it's easy, then like that other guy said, you don't know how it works.
Amen man. In my 60's now. Grew up on this heavy heavy music. I'm glad at least that some young folks are listening. Guitars don't roar like this anymore. Haven't for many years now.
This is how it’s done kids. Real people playing real instruments in real time. No autotune, no loops, no pre-recorded tracks, no heavy processing on the vocal to hide deficiencies.
As a teenager in the 70’s I’m going to give you a little insight. This song was about the Vietnam war. It was a war nobody understood and nobody wanted to go. None of us talked about it. We all seen it and knew all the guys were taken as soon as they were 18 and out of school. Many friends, boyfriends, cousins, brothers, and sons lost. Deep purple summed it up. A young guy being thrown into the middle of a war and on foreign soil, different language, and just wanting to go home. They just wanted to stay alive with bullets flying all around them. Everyone dreaded the “letter” but when they went nobody said a thing. It was avoided and life went on. I lost an uncle and cousin but both died after the war but caused by the war. They couldn’t just come home and forget it so they drank hard, drove fast, with what seemed like a death wish. As Ian Gillian speaks at the end, he tried to fit back in, he tried to talk about it but nobody wanted to talk about it, so he blew his mind out! This was the bad part we all lived through in the 70’s. We grew up fast and experienced the best music there ever was. They all had meaning and helped comfort our hearts because there was no answers as to why they were taking all these boys. My husband (boyfriend then) missed the draft by 2 months! A lot of lives, our children and grandchildren would never have been born if he was 2 months older. Sobering thought of all the families that never had a chance to start.. That being said, the first time I head deep purple on record I rushed to the store and bought it! keep in mind we knew we had awesome music and no expense was spared for the best Pioneer or JVC stereo systems! Muscle cars and the best stereos! The walls in the whole house shook when we played our music. Enjoy our memories;)

This is what inspired and influenced Bruce Dickerson of Maiden and Rob Halford of Judas Priest to sing!!
Everyone a legend Dont need engineers with this talent
Absolute Perfection !! Deep Purple.
Great reaction mates! Have a listen to Deep Purple playing live with full orchestra in 1969! Wow! Cheers!
They're all masters of their instruments. Deepest Purple. Real music, real parties. Really loud.
I love Deep Purple 💜
Հիանալի կատարողական արվեստ։
If I'd listening to this a millions times, I'd never get any bored, though I'd probably heard it hundreds of times! just so brilliant, so exciting every time, ah
Se alinearon los planetas cuando se creo esta banda. Pioneros totales, talento y creatividad . De allí a la eternidad ❤
OMG I can’t believe it was so long ago my youth was spent listening to the best rock bands ever❤
My top 3 songs of all time: child in time, bohemian rapsody and master of puppets!
Don't forget "Sugar Sugar" by the Archies.
Deep Purple one of the UK bands that started heavy metal . The fathers of METAL
50 years ago I was 12 yo and man loved Deep Purple! and all the other great rock bands in those days!
The unholy trinity is,
Deep purple
Black sabbath
Led zeppelin
All were majorly influenced by American blues. This song is one of the first truly heavy metal songs ever.
Don't forget Uriah Heep.... they were there as well, maybe not as well known as the big 3 but still influential...
The Black Wizard Ritchie "Rainbow" Blackmore......
Deep purple the best and loudest rock band ever
My favorite deep purple album is "Live in Japan". When I hear this I get homesick for the 70s. But luckily there is the fantastic band Nightwish that makes me forget these years very quickly.
The album is called Made in Japan :)
@@neverlandxx73 You're right, it's my age, a little bit demented. As long as I don't confuse the Doors and Deep purple, it's not too bad.
@@humannature9713 lol true that :) i have the same problems at my age too :) stay safe and healthy
One of the best song ever made.
True greatness, they was metal before there was a genre lol so many great people influenced by this band including myself. Lars from Metallica said this was his fav drummer and he is mine as well. So many other great songs to delve in to. May I suggest Highway star live next 👍🏻
That was so much fun watching and hearing your reactions, the looks on your faces were so precious.. Yes Deep purple took the world by storm on this track and the album it came from 'Deep Purple in Rock' ... that track sold me on DP when I was 14 yo.
