Welcome to what many consider the greatest song of all time! And although the live performance is iconic, I hope you treat yourself to listening to the original studio recording from their fourth album in 1971. It is pure brilliance! Jimmy Page, who is considered one of the greatest guitarists of all time, intended to have the band mix both light and heavy in their music. And that is partly where the band name comes from. Led for heavy and Zeppelin for light!… Please react to the studio version of Whole Lotta Love from their second album in 1969 one of the greatest riff rockers of all time. Thanks!
Another version is that when they formed the group they decided to give it this name in reference to the fact that if it didn't work. Its fall would be like that of the Hindenburg zeppelin but made of lead. I don't know if it's true, if not as they say in Italy, if not e vero e ben trobatto.😅
At the time, NONE of Led Zep thought much of the song, and that it would become an epic anthem for 50 years. Unlike the Beatles, who created incredible chemistry by years of playing together, Led Zepp NEVER played together as a band even once, and barely knew each other, when they thrown together within a few weeks, out of an emergency, when the Yardbirds disintegrated leaving Jimmy Page with an unfilled touring contract. The most perfect chemistry in music history was a lottery ticket.
My father always said, "No talking when Led Zeppelin is playing". Also, it doesn't matter how many times you listen to "Led Zeppelin" it's like listening for the first time.
dad was a wise man...having said that i wouldnt give you the opportunity to talk because i would be listening on my own. perhaps its a road trip thing?
When all said & done he's the Best!! He has 20-25 iconic melodic songs that he's arranged! all that in a 7 year span, No one else comes close! Hendrix & Eddie may had more raw ability & talent but not on same level wise when it come to arrangements
The band name comes from a conversation when they were starting out. Jimmy Page is the guitarist and was in the 60s band The Yardbirds and in order to honor contractual obligations Page put the band together with new member as the other Yardbirds members quit. They called the band the New Yardbirds but after meeting their obligations they needed a name the conversation with member of the band The Who told Page the group would go over like a lead balloon - so from their came Led Zeppelin and the rest is history. Also, Page is one of the greatest guitarist and as a matter of fact the Yardbirds were the source of three of rocks greatest guitarist, Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck and Jimmy Page.
Not quite correct. Page was told that he couldn't continue using the "New Yardbirds" name for the post Yardbirds group. Keith Moon and John Entwistle said that a super group with both Jeff Beck and Jimmy Page would "go over like a lead balloon". Page adapted the comment, their manager suggested taking the "a" out of lead and they changed balloon to zeppelin.
@@JohnHF1957 pretty much what I said. The quote has frequently been attributed to both Moon and Entwhistle so to avoid being corrected I generalized. I don’t think I was incorrect but rather not specific.
@@JohnHF1957 I had never heard that but I’ve heard different variations, so that could be correct. Also, Page and Beck played together in The Yardbirds for a period of time.
"Stairway To Heaven" is their most famous song & considered by many as one of the all time best. Led Zeppelin have a huge library of hits. "Immigrant Song", "Whole Lotta Love", "Kashmir", "Black Dog", "Ramble On", "When The Levee Breaks", “Dazed & Confused”, “Since I’ve Been Loving You”, "Rock & Roll", "The Ocean", "Over The Hills & Far Away", "The Song Remains The Same", "The Rain Song", "Good Times Bad Times" etc.
@@AxelFoleyDetroitLions Yeah, that's a crazy title, and it appears twice on two different recordings, slightly altered. There's the Bron-Yr-Aur Stomp, and the basic Bron-Yr-Aur (no "Stomp", a shorter instrumental which sounds a bit like some kind of reprise of the original, appearing on Physical Graffiti). I think one may also be spelled with just the "Y" (not "Yr"), but I spell them the same with the "Yr" - it's all confusing enough as it is.
"Dazed and Confused" is a cover, not an original Zepplin song. It was written by Jake Holmes. The Yardbirds recorded it, then Zepplin with some changed lyrics.
Completely agree. I love any music if it's good but I've been listening to Zeppelin for 50 years and nobody else has ever come as close or influenced me as much in all of that time.
Led Zepplin is the greatest Rock band that has ever existed. Period. It’s so fun and reassuring to watch someone young experiencing them for the first time. I hope you dive further into their music. Some of the best Rock music ever made.
Greatest band ever! Jimmy Page is the greatest guitarist ever...just as each of them are. They would play 3 or 4 hours straight. No breaks. Watch the 28 minute Dazed And Confused from this 1973 concert...Jimmy kills it the entire time!
Page the greatest guitarist ever ? lol... Not by a long shot. Commercialised guitarists are ok, but all the elite non commercialised guitarists are hidden on youtube. Dig deep on youtube and all will be revealed. Page could not play like most of these guitar masters, but only in his wildest dreams .Here's one example amongst possibly hundreds of other Master guitarists..... Only 247K views which is probably right for an elite guitarist. Don't forget that these people are NOT Commercialised...... ua-cam.com/video/oGbLEco2Ezc/v-deo.html
My brain won't except that you have never heard what is widely considered the greatest Rock song of all time. That said, if this is your first venture into Zeppelin, put your seat belt on.
Hello Maddy. I need to say that it does my heart so much good when I see and hear the reaction of young people like yourself enjoying classic Rock-N-Roll. God bless.
All four of these guys were at the top of their game. John Bonham is widely considered one of, if not the, greatest drummers in rock history. No one rocked harder than Zeppelin, that's for sure.
It’s not about the length of time Jimmy is playing. It’s about the mastery of his playing and the soul he exudes playing the music. He’s one of the legendary guitarists in history.
For those of us who were fortunate enough to be teens when Zep burst upon the scene, it was always incredible how they could come out with one great, not good, but great song upon song, album after another. Then when they could produce such insane stuff like this, it was just mind blowing, because all of it was just soo different. U never knew what to expect, except to expect greatness. we were blessed with the fact that the Mighty Zep was just interested in making the music they wanted to, not trying to produce commercial stuff that would fit on 45's so they could make money. When Bonzo died, R and R was never the same.
Saw them in 1977 on one of the "Day on the Green" concerts at the Oakland, Calif. Coliseum. They had many Days on the Green in the 70s and 80s with multiple bands. I was 20 years old back in the day and they were then and always were my favorite band of all time. Seeing Jimmy Page and Robert Plant were one of the highlights of my youth. It was their last American concert ever so I was witnessing some Rock N' Roll history in the making. Rock on baby !!!!
I was right there with you! I grew up in San Leandro and about 6 miles up North 880 lays the Oakland Stadium and I was at the July 1977 Day On The Green Show with the best rock n roll band ever, The Mighty Led Zeppelin. I also was 20. Graduated high school in 1975 at Marina High. Saw so many great concerts in the San Francisco Bay Area. Saw Pink Floyd in April 1975 at the Cow Palace, that show was frikin incredible. I saw Crosby, Sills, Nash & Young on the 2nd ever Day On the Green July1974, with CSNY and The Band, Joe Walsh & Barnstorm and Jessie Colin Young. Also was at the British Are Coming Day On the Green August 1975, Robin Trower, Dave Mason, Peter Frampton, Fleetwood Mac & Gary Dream Weaver Wright. So many wonderful shows. Saw Skynryd at Winterland in 76, The Who also Winterland 76. I can keep naming them that I saw. We grew up in the greatest Decade ever the 1970s.
@@Fritzw75 That is so cool. I grew up in the Oakland Hills and went to Skyline High class of 1975. I went to about 90% of the Day on the Green shows until 1981 when i finished my B.S.degree at U.C. Berkeley and then went I went to San Diego for Graduate School. We did grow up in a great time for music and I think those 3 decades simply produced the best music. Funny you went to Marina High. In college I dated someone name Petra Bayer who went to Marina High. She was a year behind me I think, class of 1976. Small world....Cheers !!!
Now in recent years Led Zeppelin was honored for their achievements at the Kennedy Center Awards. The band Heart plays this song as a tribute. Absolutely amazing, with Zeppelin present. Enjoy Love your reactions.
You need to start your Led Zeppelin by going to track one on their first album and march right on through the soundtrack of my life. They are considered Rock Gods. A follow up to this should be The Kennedy Center Honors tribute to them where Heart does a version of this that brings Robert Plant,(the singer), to tears. LOVE that you are discovering so many great artists! Dire Straits, Alcamy Live Concert versions of Sultans of Swing and Telegraph road will blow your mind as tge guitar "outros" are both almost five minutes long! PERFECTION!❤
@@waynebenedict5785 I think it's been out of print for some time now. I've been search library book sales, flea markets, etc. for years. "Seek and Ye shall find."

The group Heart does a fantastic live tribute to Led Zeppelin of this song at the Kennedy Center Honors. The ladies, Ann Wilson and her sister, Ann the guitarist, honor one of their musical inspirational heroes. You MUST react to this song. The drums are handled by Jason Bonham, the son of the late drummer of the band. I'll be back to see your reaction. Enjoy
Totally agree, I have watched Heart perform this with them watching on. That would be so nerve wracking. and they did an amazing rendition. Was so beautiful.
These 4 gentlemen were arguably the 4 greatest at their particular craft EVER. Jimmy Page on guitar, John Bonham on drums, John Paul Jones on bass and keyboards and madoline, and Robert Plant with the trmendous vocals. There are a lot of other great ones out there but These guys were the best it gets IMO!! 😎
I might suggest that you are all substituting the idea of best player with the idea of most influential...there are dozens of players who skill far surpasses that of those listed... edit..just saw EVH listed, he belongs in the top five or ten discussion...
The thing that makes this song so iconic is its constantly climbing, like a stairway. Btw.. Elvis also had a double neck Gibson SG except his was a 6 string bass on top and the standard 6 string guitar on bottom. Jimmy's is a 12 string guitar on top and the standard 6 string on the bottom. Fun Guitar Fact: A guy named Les Paul (who was also a musical act with his wife Mary Ford) designed the SG and the Les Paul. He sold both designs to Gibson Guitars but he didnt like the SG and told Gibson to not put his name anywhere on it. So they named it SG for Solid Guitar. Both the Les Paul and the SG are iconic. Angus Young from ACDC played a Gibson SG exclusively. Proof that one mans trash is another mans treasure. And yes... Jimmy Page is the OG ROCK STAR GUITAR GOD! You know what makes a great guitarist a good person? When they show you how to play their stuff like them. Jimmy was very gracious with fans, he taught us to play guitar! Same with Dimebag Darrell from Pantera. Find some "Dimebag home videos" on youtube. He was another, more recent, rock star guitar God. Sadly he was shot and killed on stage in 2004.
Greatest song of all time ranked #1 Led zeppelin has two songs ranked in top 5 greatest songs other song is Kashmir 2 other songs top 20 is whole lotta love when the Levee breaks
I live not far away from Robert Plant the singer. I bumped into him in a pub in Wolverley a little village near a town called Kidderminster in England a few years back. Nice bloke. Just walked in on his own no fanfare just had a pint of beer then left. Really down to earth. Good reaction BTW.
@@MaddyReactions If you decide to react to Heart's cover of "Stairway to Heaven" specifically honoring Led Zeppelin at the Kennedy Center (the band members gave Heart a standing ovation, by the way), be sure to watch the FULL (7:59) version as other versions are chopped by a full minute, including the entire second verse and some great vocals by Ann Wilson.
Part of the beauty, the mystery of this song, it's a "secret" chord progression, that does not complete itself, there is no real resolution at the end, it just circles back on itself, much like "Hotel California", it is a perfect tale told musically, it technically never ends...brilliant!
If you listen to the album version of the solo you will hear that it sounds a little different from the live version you listen to. That is because Page had four different versions of the "Stairway" guitar solo, and every time he played the solo live he played one of the four different versions. I got lucky, and saw Zep live in 1977 in Baton Rouge, La only a few days before the tour was cancelled due to Robert Plants infant son dying.
Keith Moon, the legendary drummer for The Who, when told there was going to be a New Yardbirds said "It will go over like a lead zeppelin". The guitar player is Jimmy Page. A legend.
Led Zeppelin was an English band created in 1968 by guitarist Jimmy Page, who also produced all their albums. In addition to Jimmy, there was bassist and keyboardist John Paul Jones, drummer John Bonham, and vocalist and harmonica player Robert Plant. They played what was called "hard rock/heavy blues" but played a variety of styles. They disbanded in 1980 with the passing of Bonham. As you mentioned, the guitar is a Gibson double neck, EDS-1275, which has a 12-string guitar on the top neck and a 6-string on the bottom. It allows you to play either without having to switch guitars. For this song, he uses the 12-string for everything except the solo, where he switches to 6-string. According to Jimmy, he took the name from a comment from The Who drummer, Keith Moon. Before creating Zeppelin (and before joining Jeff in the group The Yardbirds), Jimmy was a session guitarist and his good friend (and fellow guitar genius) Jeff Beck asked him to help play on his solo record project on a song called "Beck's Bolero". In addition to Jimmy, they had session bassist John Paul Jones (who would later join what would become Led Zeppelin), Keith Moon, and keyboardist Nicky Hopkins. This group of musicians seemed to blend so well, they half serious/half joking said they should form their own band. Moon said a band like that would go over like a "lead balloon" (meaning they'd be failures) then switched it to "lead Zeppelin". Jimmy remembered the comment and liked the opposites of the word meanings, so he dropped the "a" in lead so people wouldn't pronounce it like "leed" and used it as the name of the new band he would create.
If you delve into their catalog you won't be disappointed. Hard to find a bad song in it. Maybe a couple. Lucky enough to see them in 1977. They played for 3 1/2 hours straight.
Saw them in Glasgow in the early 70's. Six rows from the front in the Greens playhouse. Every seat in the house was £1. Queued overnight to get tickets. I remember them singing Blueberry Hill! Amazing night.
Firstt heard this from the studioalbum in 1972, i was 12 years old and it touch me so much. Its a beautiful song. This live recording is made in Madison Square Garden, New York, 1973. My favorite band❤
Huge Zeppelin fan, first listened to stairway to heaven back in 1977 age 14, timeliness, really glad you are enjoying, All the best, Paul Dublin, Ireland
All 4 members of Led Zepplin are considered amongst the top 5 of the greatest in their category. Check out more of their music. "What is and what should never be " is a song I would recommend you listen to. ❤
First of all, great reaction!!! Led Zeppelin was my first concert in 1977! I was 14 years old and that experience changed my whole outlook on life!!! Like everyone else had said, welcome to a fantastic “rabbit hole” of music! There are many other great live videos out there including Since I’ve Been Loving You, Ten Years Gone, Immigrant Song, Kashmir, and so many others. There is also a fantastic video of Ann and Nancy Wilson of Heart along with Jason Bohnam ( John Bohnam son) on drums. It is part of an award given at the Kennedy Center Honors. That is probably one of the best tributes ever done!!
Zepplin & Pink Floyd are 2 of the biggest rabbit holes you'll go down here darlin! the double-neck is 12 strings on the top and 6 strings on the bottom neck. 2 distinct sounds and he switches between the 2 throughout the song. saw them back in 79' in Louisiana.
Yes. That guitarist is one of the greatest of all time. Jimmy Page. The greats: Jimi Hendrix, Jimmy Page, Jeff Beck, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Edward Van Halen, Eric Clapton. Jimmy Page was my greatest influence and inspiration when I picked up a guitar for the first time more than 50 years ago. I eventually found my own style and voice on guitar, but there will always be some Jimmy Page in virtually everything I play. BTW, in concert back then Zeppelin played for 3+ hours a night. Their song Dazed and Confused clocked in at more than 20 minutes live back then. Their stamina was amazing. I saw them 3 times live. Yes, Jimmy Page is one of the greats.
These guys are amazing. The lead singer is considered one of the best singers of all time and the same as the guitarist, and the drummer is the best of all time.
In my opinion this was the greatest rock band that ever existed. If you'd like to hear the female version of Led Zeppelin, you should listen to Heart's version of this song at the Kennedy Center Honors to Led Zeppelin.
As usual Maddy, a wonderful reaction. You’re now into the finest of the classics, LZ has so many iconic songs that bring back memories of summer. This is a song about materialism, and it’s pitfalls. I saw the LA show In this first part Plant is backlit with a golden light and was such a beautiful effect. One of the necks is a twelve string, which he uses for the next song in the set, The Rain Song
I enjoyed your reaction Maddy...this has always been my favorite song ever!! I hope you will listen to more because you are just scratching the surface of these iconic musicians...
So glad you played the live version of this song ,Try since I've been loving you live at Maddison square garden by them keep getting the Led out 🎵🎵🎵🎵🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸
The live is always great and an improv on the studio original, which is the song everyone knows and loves. Do listen to it sometime, it is one of the best songs ever, you need to hear it. Enjoy! 🎵🎤🎹🎶
I like it how some of these older bands improvised so much when playing live. Zeppelin and Queen did it a lot, and Ronnie James Dio with all the acts he performed with (Rainbow, Black Sabbath, Dio).
I saw Led Zeppelin live when they toured the Led Zeppelin IV album. I was in 9th grade. Stairway to Heaven live was a transcendent experience! By the way, the top neck is a 12-string guitar (richer harmony and sonic presence), lower is 6-strings. Jimmy Page solos on both--fun! By the way also, the name is a play on the phrase "that wnet over like a lead balloon!" A Zeppelin is the largest baloon ever made, I suppose. This band goes over like a Led Zeppelin :) Glad to introduce a new generation to the great Led Zeppelin.
If you want to understand rock music after 1970, you need to know Zeppelin, as they are the base from which most others spring. Also, if you’d like to hear another great song of theirs, start at Album one, first song and continue for 8 more albums. No filler, all gems.
This band is legendary in the rock community. Thay started in 1969 and recorded whole lotta love. The band stoped studio recording in 1980 when the drummer died from an overdose so theystoped playing as a group. This group sre sometimes called gods in the music industry.
🎼🌬🌬🌬🌬🌬🌬🎼 .. as an older person, it is completely mind boggling that you do not know this song. Everyone in my generation knows this song my heart. It played on every radio station .. it played at every high school dance .. it played at every bonfire .. and we never tired of it. Great British era, I was around at that time in Hatfield, WGC and St Albans. So many bands from that area. Now you've got a young American listening to some of the best bands and songs ever. I'm now 77, I love all music, but if you want to visit the places where these bands used to hang out, visit The Boot, and Fighting Cocks in St Albans, Colin Blunstonte, Maddy Prior, Tim Heart, Justin Hayward, Denny Laine, Rod Argent and so many more, alas some not with us anymore.
I have been listening "Stairway To Heaven" since my teenage years back in the 1970's.......and I am still listening and singing along up till now in my 60's.......... Yes ,1970's was the decade of musical innovations......and Led Zeppelin dared to combine Rock and Blues into an inspiring perfect music........
If you think this was some awesome guitar playing, check out "Dazed and Confused" from the same concert. (Madison Square Garden 1973)....it's 26 uninterrupted minutes of guitar virtuosity, including playing with a cello bow. Ans yes Jimmy Page is considered one of the best guitarists ever by many and the band Led Zeppelin THE best Rock band ever by most.
Jimmy Page is the Guitarist and yes, he is always mentioned in top 3 of all-time greatest guitarists. Robert Plant is vocals. John Paul Jones is on keyboards and bass, and John Bonham is the drummer who died in 1980 and the band broke up after. Extremely talented! Zeppelin is a German word for what we call a "blimp". The story is told that the drummer for the band the "Who", critiqued led zeppelin in the early days, not thinking much of them, said they would go over like a "lead zeppelin", or a lead blimp/balloon. Jimmy page heard that and took the name.
You picked out the main quality that many other commenters miss. The greatness in their music is their ability to create a 'feeling/ emotion' with their music. Playing dazzlingly fast guitar solos, or heavy and loud riffs is relatively easy. To create and play music that creates emotions in your audience is far more difficult and Led Zeppelin are one of the bands that do this so well. The thing that gets me about this song is that it starts off as a quiet ballad but ends up as loud, heavy rock and they have managed to take you through this transition without you really noticing. Another band from that era that creates emotion with their music is Pink Floyd.
You have now heard the greatest rock band ever! The greatest guitarist, singer, drummer and base (and more) player. their music presents all genre and their innovations and creativity better than any other rock band.
^. ^ Yes that was an amazing performance! I am a musician my self...... and what people may not realise is how much energy it takes to play like that......absolute genius! VVxx
This is a good live version, however, you really should listen to the studio versions before live versions. The studio version of this song is so nuanced in a way that the live version could never capture. Please go back and listen to the studio version of this song. Be well!

Now you have to listen to the Kennedy Center Honors tribute to Led Zeppelin in which others honor the band and cover the band's music while the band members look on.. The rendition of Stairway to Heaven by Ann and Nancy Wilson of the rock band Heart, accompanied by backup singers, a choir, an orchestra, a brass section, guitarists, and Led Zeppelin's drummer, John Bonham's son, Jason, on drums. John Bonham died in 1980 and the band subsequently disbanded. Years later when the band was slated to be honored by The Kennedy Center, the band asked Jason to sit with them and represent his Dad. Jason told them he had a scheduling conflict and couldn't. Then surprised them when he came out on stage as part of the tribute. And the rendition of Stairway to Heaven is incredible.
This performance gives me excitement and tranquility at the same time. This used to be my sleep well song for a long time together with Street figheter2 Ken theme song. I used to fall a sleep during the guitar solo so many times. :)
Led Zeppelin was how Kieth Moon, the late drummer from the Who described this band when they first formed. All four were session players - the best of the best, Their first public ouring was a 2 hour session at the Reding Festival.
Led Zepplin stands for the guys in the band laughing when they formed and coming up with a band name - this band is gonna fall down and fail like a lead balloon - they went on to become one of the biggest - if not the biggest bands in the "Classic Rock" era - and this song is the most iconic songs of virtually any era - to this day - the fact that you are reacting to it (I think this was a live recording from 1971 - almost 60 years ago!) speaks volumes to how this song has stood the test of time - Also - I subscribed to you because of your reaction to - Rich Men North Of Richmond - keep up the good work - and if you're not on Rumble please make a MaddyReaction accounts too - you will absolutely blow up there

I think one may also be spelled with just the "Y" (not "Yr"), but I spell them the same with the "Yr" - it's all confusing enough as it is.

Led Zepplin is the greatest Rock band that has ever existed. Period. It’s so fun and reassuring to watch someone young experiencing them for the first time. I hope you dive further into their music. Some of the best Rock music ever made.
🤍
Maiden is better.
THEFloyd are even better
I love LZ, but The Beatles hold the “greatest” title.
LZ all the way. Love Floyd and Maiden but please the Beatles. Different genre. Get real.
This entire band is one of the best of all time...seriously!
Greatness!
My brain won't except that you have never heard what is widely considered the greatest Rock song of all time. That said, if this is your first venture into Zeppelin, put your seat belt on.
Possibly the greatest song ever recorded. Thank you for reacting to the live version Maddy!
So epic!!! 🎸

One of the *BEST* songs ever written or recorded by one of the *BEST* bands ever created. Timeless and magical.
I was at that show!
Sadly the last time they ever played America with Bonzo..😢
Zeppelin was a true concert band. They would stretch songs out over 40 minutes and play 3 1/2 to 4+ hour shows.
I was 17 in 78, I thought I was gonna lose my mind when I saw this at a Midnite Movie. Still has that effect.
Now in recent years Led Zeppelin was honored for their achievements at the Kennedy Center Awards. The band Heart plays this song as a tribute. Absolutely amazing, with Zeppelin present. Enjoy
Love your reactions.
Yes, Jimmy Page is definitely one of the best rock guitar players ever 👍 no one is going to argue that
So true!!
He and David Gilmour are #1 and #2. Order as you will. You can't lose either way.
@jamessweet5341 I'd drop Brian May in the mix, but can't say you're wrong ❤
I mean, Jimi Hendrix & Eddie Van Halen would have something to say about that, but they’re all in that very top bracket.

"To be a rock and not to roll"! Says it all, and so few people walk that path!

Oooh makes sense

It's very cool.... One neck is 6 strings the other neck is 12 strings so he gets some additional harmony all at one time. 👍

This song is a pure masterpiece !

So true!!
One of the best guitar solos ever performed! Top three ever !!!😊
Part of the beauty, the mystery of this song, it's a "secret" chord progression, that does not complete itself, there is no real resolution at the end, it just circles back on itself, much like "Hotel California", it is a perfect tale told musically, it technically never ends...brilliant!
Jimmy Paige is one of the all-time great guitarists and John Bonham is an amazing drummer. GREAT group, GREAT song...GREAT reaction!
Great reaction - I was lucky enough to see Led Zeppelin live the first concert I ever went to in 1971 and it's still the best show I ever saw
Epic!!!
Saw them at MSG in ‘77 june i believe, if my memory serves me well. The energy at the show was unrivaled.

There is also a fantastic video of Ann and Nancy Wilson of Heart along with Jason Bohnam ( John Bohnam son) on drums. It is part of an award given at the Kennedy Center Honors. That is probably one of the best tributes ever done!!
Literally, by consensus, the greatest rock song ever.
Zepplin & Pink Floyd are 2 of the biggest rabbit holes you'll go down here darlin! the double-neck is 12 strings on the top and 6 strings on the bottom neck. 2 distinct sounds and he switches between the 2 throughout the song. saw them back in 79' in Louisiana.
led zeppelin they were and are gods, and they knew it, unmatched.

So good!
I like it how some of these older bands improvised so much when playing live. Zeppelin and Queen did it a lot, and Ronnie James Dio with all the acts he performed with (Rainbow, Black Sabbath, Dio).
That is a very polite way of saying she should have listened to the studio recording, which she really should have done.

You could skip Led Zeppelin 3 and not be disappointed since you’ve already reacted to Stairway 😀 everything else is correct.
I saw Led Zeppelin play a 3-hour set at a festival and none of them let up in their performance - they were amazing.
This band is legendary in the rock community. Thay started in 1969 and recorded whole lotta love. The band stoped studio recording in 1980 when the drummer died from an overdose so theystoped playing as a group. This group sre sometimes called gods in the music industry.

Not a drug overdose, an alcohol overdose... The drummer John Bonham died of an "overdose" of alcohol when he choked on his own vomit in his sleep.

Hi Ms. Maddy, The best Rock Song sung by the best Rock Band.. Watching Led Zeppelin live is an experience.. ♠Mr.G..
Greatest band ever! No one compares. Thanks for the great reaction.
🩷
That's what a lot of modern music has lost- yeah it's catchy until the next new song- but the emotion is gone.
You have now heard the greatest rock band ever! The greatest guitarist, singer, drummer and base (and more) player. their music presents all genre and their innovations and creativity better than any other rock band.
