you can set up a basic snare generator in just a few moves, and tweaking the parameters will get you wildly different results, suited for anything from DnB to Jazz. Stranjah has a good video about it, but there are many that explain the basic principles.
My tip for kick tops that I invented recently.
I used Kick2 to generate the perfect kick up to around 500hz
Then make a send to another channel but HPF from 1000hz upward and put on a distortion - I use Decapitator (but shaperbox distortions are dantastic too) and whack that distortion up to MAXIMUM. Adjust the HPF to taste.
And youll get a perfect skin sound you can shape that makes it aound more real than a generated kick.
Yeah. All the magic is in parallel.
The way the kicks at the end sounded a bit similar to one another reminds me of Aphex Twin's End E2, and how it has a handful of slightly different kick sounds in its main drum pattern.
Definitely a good way to get a variety of kicks that work together in a song or in similar contexts.

@@barsbeats9037 If you're going for stock logic synths, you can initialize the preset on alchemy, although Vital is a free synth that is much more intuitive for making drums and with loads of tutorials on youtube :)

@@barsbeats9037 try pulling up pre made kicks you like and then trying to make that kick, but use any plugin you can see the shape of the audio to help you make visual changes and get you to where you want to be.

Yeah. Unfortunately coming up with kickdrums that actually can stand up to the industry standard is a science in it's own and the example you showed here is not even close to be usable..
