analog horror + dinosaurs = endless terror

- I've heard the calls for the return to analog horror Jurassic Park! I clearly wasn't avoiding this because the T Rex in analog horror fashion becomes 20x more frightening due to the ground level nature of the encounters. Needless to say the Jurassic Park world is filled to the brim with possibilities and I gathered some material together that I feel shows off some great work.

@9:17 Noticed you used footage of kitty0706's "Mass Defect" video. I used to watch his vids all the damn time and would quote them endlessly with friends.
Rest in peace, young man. Dude barely began to show off his potential before passing away from leukemia at just 20/21 years old.
this should be pinned

5:09 Fun Fact: The DX virus was actually a thing in the lost world novel, it was a prion related disease that infected the carnivores due to them being theorized to being fed with ground up sheep meat.
All the dinos on isla sorna are fated to die too because of it at the end of the novel
Exactly what I was gonna say! Looks like the people who were infected got a gnarly version of Cruzfeld-Jacob Disease
So like mad cow disease?
@@Santagmk0basically
@@Santagmk0yup, prions are not fun
The analog horror made me thought of how scary the virus could be that jumps from these dinosaurs to humans.
Jurassic Park makes monsters, not dinosaurs.
Exactly. Even Grant said it
@@cursee8025well, dinos didn't have frog genes. And the indominus
1916 die unbekante krieg 😂
Agreed
@@cursee8025in the book and movies it’s explained they’re spliced genetics/not real dinosaurs, more like imitations of dinosaurs, they’re unnatural man made monsters
If I ever was to go and fix the fence of the T-Rex paddock, just to find the fence demolished, I'd just get back in the breaker room and stay there out of sight until someone comes looking for me...
same... wait till hurricane ends...
They aren’t gonna come looking for you. They’re gonna assume you got eaten

Jurassic Park analog horror really does a good job of pointing out how sanitized Jurassic Park/World has become they should have followed by the book
Tresspasser fortunately did
Im happy they didnt truthfully.
15:24 Edward Regis is actually a character in the original Jurassic Park novel, in the movie him and the lawyer were sort of combined into one character. What I like about these analog horror Jurassic Park videos is they are similar to the darker tone of the book so it's cool to see the novel's characters or events get a mention.
More reason to pick up that book!
Thanks for sharing my work!
YOURE SO AWSOME FOR THIS ACTUALLY?????? YOURE SO COOL
Instant sub. You have a knack for this!
Thank you for producing such terrifying dinosaur horror! One of the best I've seen!
@4Plus419 I reccomend you cover the weird birds dinosaur horror too pls. It'll give you nightmares if you're afraid of raptors
The cartoon bonk sound at 13:52 made my day 😂
I came to say this it made me giggle so much
The way that the rex just kinda except that a flare just fell on it bro was dumbfounded
I love that specific sound so much, it will instantly improve my mood. What can I say, I’m easy to please lol
Even while watching the original video, when the flare hit the rex on the head, I couldn't help but laugh. I mean, yeah, it was the WORST possible place for it to land, but it was also hilarious. The little bonk was 100% what played in my head.
The Rex was just like ‘the fuck?’
I love the vibe of your videos, it’s like watching an old horror movie with a close friend. It’s hard to explain but I get such a cozy feeling whenever I see a new video from you.
real

If I saw a dinosaur or even a shadow of one in the middle of the night I am BOOKING it
You'd just get caught, I recommend your last words be "Clever girl"
"Why you guys make me return to one of my worst fears, is beyond me"
I'm pretty sure it's because it's one of OUR worst fears as well.
Thie is why when you go against Dino's you bring a semi automatic rifle for the raptors and a rocket launcher for the t rex.
I loved how the flare just hit the T-Rex in the head
Honestly, I've had a few dreams about the t rex and i can say that I was more scared of my Spinosaurus dreams, they're just bigger and scarier for me
Cool dinosaur fact that nobody asked for: spinosaurus would’ve looked bigger than it actually was with its sail and its tail.
Ìve had two dreams that involved both the T-rex and the Spinosaurus. One endee on a suspenseful cliffhanger as I decide to return to the danger if the infested forest in search of my missing family.
The other ended with me at my house with the Rex and Spino eating pizza at Christmas wearing party hats.
Dreams
Yeah they’re all gangsta until I pull out a miniature meteor
12:37 fun fact: in the movie, Rexy (or the t.rex) had poor eyesight, meaning if you stood still she would not notice you. That’s why he stood completely still, out in the open.
Imagine working and going into exhibit at night and you hear sounds of stomping speeding up with huge white eyes and large teeth charging into your face
why does these analogous horrors bring out primal, evolutionary instincts to scare us, like- the dark
13:29 You would be smart to do that herbivores aren't friendly all the time they can be aggressive and sometimes herbivores will eat a small amount of meat
Quarantine padock is a reference to Jurassic Park the Game by telltale.
It is semi soft canon.
This means that we are likely looking at the same time period as the firs movie with the Isla Nublar incident.
Dr. Sorkin is also mentioned.
Correct!
My most common nightmare from childhood into early adulthood was being hunted by a pack of raptors. Most of them had me trapped in a building or on an island with them.
That clonk at the end of the T-Rex scene was funny. 🤣
nothing supernatural EXCEPT THE DINOSAURS RUNNING AROUND
It is a true honor to have brought Horror Analog and Jurassic Park into one ❤
Thank you, I’ve been heavily inspired by your works!
I feel like an awesome analogue horror concept would be about looking into like human/dinosaur splicing
I remember one of my nightmares was that specifically, an analogue horror where humans and dinosaurs were being spliced. I cant remember all the details, but there was an alarm that every time I heard it I would run for my life, the faint image of a lab, a ghost who looked like a child that burned alive, and ending in a weird jumpscare of a dinosaur with human teeth that lunged at the camera, presumably attacking.
There was a scrapped Jurassic Park movie that had human dinosaur hybrids
@@godzillabebravethetrexretu1381 I think that's where the dream originated from, the night I had the dream I'd been watching a lot of videos on dinosaur analogue horrors so it probably seeped into my dreams that night
Remove the dinosaurs and this would probably make for an interesting analog horror about a company trying to make soldiers for the military or something dumb like that but all the hybrids just keep coming out as mindless unholy beasts with little to no humanity barley left in them
@@elishafollet5347 I mean, there could still be dinosaurs, splicing in the DNA in an attempt to give the strength of the ancient creatures that once roamed the planet but in turn turning them into just as ferocious as the creatures their DNA was spliced with.
The reason man survived was that Frank respected that he tried to find him even when he was told it was fruitless so he bless that man by letting him live another day
I love having someone to watch this with! Either it’s you or when the floor starts breathing 😊
I used to have dreams about the T-rex hunting me but for some reason I liked it lol.
Glad I’m not the only one who had t-Rex related nightmares. I had one where it was rampaging in a football field, one where it was wandering the property of some relatives while we were trying to enjoy a holiday, and there was one where it was attacking a hotel that I apparently owned? And that had a resolution where the skin of a t-Rex was like salt, so we put it on some hotdogs and everyone cheered. That was probably my weirdest dream.
Your first video is actually what inspired me to make my own JPAH series. They’re in a playlist on my profile!
Great video as always! Thanks for covering my first ever attempt at analog horror 😅
It WAS the Jurassic Park analog video that made me sub lol
Also the virus on the InGen tapes reminds me of the Plague Of Madness from Primal lol
I have no idea why dinosaurs are so marketed towards children lmao, dinosaurs are fucking terrifying
Dude I so fucking agree, it's time to make dinosaurs scary again
Because dinosaurs are cool, like theyr one of the most popular things you learn about when you go to kindergarten or something y'know.
My only real problem i'd ever have with dinosaurs hunting humans is that
If they aren't being mistreated, and are getting the right amount of enrichment
They won't even think about hunting us. We're small, slow, and almost definitely taste fucking Horrible
The only reason they'd ever try to hunt humans is if they were immeasurably desperate, or immeasurably bored, because we're slow, were loud, and we come in huge groups.
Tbf a tiger at a zoo would most likely still maul someone to death for food regardless of how well taken care of they are since they are predators, wild predators so hunting and killing would be ingrained into theyr dna so I don't see why it would be any different with a carnivores dinosaur.
I don't think they wouldn't hunt us. We are easy to catch, kill and we are many. It's like with human eating animals. We are to much of a luxury to miss
Nah they would hunt us 100% the fact that some people are slow and small just makes it so much easier for them to do so
The Ingen tapes disease is actually from The Lost World book which I find very clever on the creators end!
Least terrifying thing in all of existence.
Hell yeah, I loved the first dino video! And yes, it's what introduced me to ur great content
I loved the old video as it brought me to your channel...and I loved this one as well dude 👍
Ever sense your first video on this I’ve been none stop watch this type of analog horror
That scene with the T-Rex running towards the guy actually scared me
When i was little i loved dinosaurs (i do now too) but i was really scared of Jurassic Park, the first movie and the only one i knew existed at the time. I really was scared of the raptors, the thought of a horse sized reptilian monster that could smell and see me for a lot further than i could detect it and that it was super fast really made me shiver. I even had nightmares of waking up in the middle of the night to my door being opened by a raptor. However like i said before, i love dinosaurs, so i had this masochist relationship with the movie where i would watch it for the dinosaurs but would shit myself everytime the raptors came on screen.
I know you're likely aware, but Site B is mentioned and used so often in these videos because its the "Factory floor" so to speak. Site B, Isla Sorna is used to get the dinosaur genetics right before shipping the finished assets to Site A, Isla Nublar, where the park is. We can assume that the trial and error system they had working had some real duds and mistakes here or there, which makes Site B prime analog horror material.
The raptor on the thumbnail is haunting
I know right?
Nah, Looks like generic horror to me
Your videos make me so happy c:
13:43 Lol poor Rexy got bonked by a flare
Very humorous indeed 😂
LOVE YOUR VIDS ❤
Recently had nightmares about raptor chasing me inside a tight corridor
Find it hilarious how such a giant animal like a T-Rex can be so damn stealthy.
its crazy to me how someone could develop such a strong fear over dreams like i myself dont really have any phobias or anything and i dont dream or at the very least i never remember them so those things combining together is genuinely crazy for me to think about
I Fking love analog horror and you do it so yea, its lovely to see you make these videos as well... nice vid
I wouldn't necceraly say stegosaurus is no threat to people. True - it won't eat you, but it still could consider you a threat to itself and stump or attack with it's enormus legs.
Even today some of the most dangerous animals you can encounter are herbivores
You mean tail? Stegosaurus don’t have long legs relative to its size
i genuinely love your videos so much dude. analog horror is my absolute favorite category of horror and no other account ive found has created content like you do. you talk about the content while also SHOWING videos. the editing is incredible. you also dont try to force it down our throats to subscribe. i have already subscribed and turned the bell on just out of pure interest in you and your content. keep going dude. we all appreciate it. just thought id stop by to say that.
This guy has the powers of main character plot armour 14:20
if you think the Jurassic park t-rex is scary look up an accurate one
“Follow the screams.”
dennis todd pic goes hard
Im so happy because this is why I suscribe to this chanel and i stayed because of all the content☺️
Could just imagine walking out side and seeing a pack of raptor’s
Ok, that bit about dead virus is EXACTLY why I'm against bringing back extinct animals. Sure if it's the panda or so yes, but an extinct virus from a far long era who knows how bad it was. Seriously, science is both a blessing and a weapon.
Oh i came from the Last video alright
Thats crazy to know you had dinosaur dreams too. I remember getting stuck in slide trying to hide from the t rex or running away from raptors at an abandoned school hallway. 😂
I’ve gotta say I love the work you do I watched all of your latest videos and I gotta say keep up the amazing work ❤❤ Also could you try to find a McDonalds analog horror or anything fast food related I feel like that would be really interesting lol
I get back to my dorm and see an upload. What a beautiful day.
When I was a kid, I used to like to freak myself out sometimes by imagining looking out my window and suddenly seeing a dinosaur in my yard (ideally at night for maximum fear).
Loved those books, I really recommend them, some really cool scenes that weren't in the movies.
Its my favorite book on my shelf man, read it for sure
I think if i had a nightmare about a T-Rex it would be about it trying to find me,but I think that it's more likely for me to have a dream about a T-Rex.
I think the Godzilla analog series made a new video! You should cover that one! I loved how you covered them in your previous video!!!
Yay it’s back I thought it was a different channel the last one was a banger
analog horror + dinosaurs = instant arousal
Heh, I actually used to have similar nightmares as a kid. One that I remember the most clearly is where a mutated T-Rex without proper eyes but with heat vision was tracking me down no matter how far I ran or where I tried to hide. That one terrified me to the point I locked my toy t-rex away and never played with it again lmao
This is pterrifying 😱😨
13:27 and you’re absolutely right! That there’s a Stegosaurus, the one famous for having a spiky tail for defending itself. Sure it’s an herbivore, but sometimes herbivores can become startled and attack unprovoked, so keeping a safe distance is 100% the right move.
Man gratz to the lady for winning that 50,000 clams man, that's super cool to see, to bad those dions are going to kind of just buck everything up.... But hey 50,000 bucks yo!
I know how you feel when it comes to the fear aspect of them. I used to be absolutely terrified of the movie when I watched it at 5. Now it doesn’t terrify me but occasionally I will have lucid nightmares about the Rex.
The first Jurassic Park book traumatized me. Sheer and absolute terror
DANG YOU
I HAD A HORRID DINOSAUR NIGHTMARE
LIKE BRO THAT WAS THE WORST I'VE EVER SLEPT
Dammit dinos, WHY!
Love the video; good luck sleeping tonight! ❤🎉
I'll need it 😭 such a creative series I loved coming back to it!
I feel like carnotaurus would be a terrifying one because of it’s immense speed, it would catch you in a instant
The bonk sound effect when the flare hit the T Rex was amazing 😂😂😂😂😂
Gotta love the little Mass Defect cameo
Working on my Magic the Gathering Dinosaur Commander deck featuring the Ian Malcom version of Atla Palani as I watch this.
Ngl the most horrific T-Rex was the real one
Imagine the T-Rex here but it’s faster, bulkier, has a much more powerful bite, has the best vision and smell in the animal kingdom and can sense you running through pads in its feet.
Now that would be horrific, just look up realistic T-Rex raw to find out what I’m talking about
I've had T rex and velociraptor nightmares for over a decade now. I have no clue why
This is so great! Hey, btw, that twitter dinosaur horror finally ended at the beginning of this year!
You should play “Unknown Tapes” basically Jurassic Park analog horror, really amazing
If i saw a trex outside the window im definitely not turning on the lights going outside and staying near the windows
I have the same book!!! it's really good(and nightmare fuel)
I also had a trex dream but it was goofy
Yeah i subbed after that dinosaur video
NEVER MISS A 4PLUS UPLOAD RAHHH
Watching this a second time on this channel was different.
"Jurassic Park is frightening in the dark."

Those dang lizards be scary, feathered or not
Theyr actually closer related to birds than lizards
@@elishafollet5347 yes i know but still you get the point, i wouldn't be much afraid of a chicken as i would be of a komodo dragon
ANOTHA ANALOG JURASSIC VIDEO YAY!
Probably the only nightmare I’ve had with dinosaurs is one where I was watching a VHS about the “chickenosaurus” project and hearing scratching noises on the roof. That’s all
big ol deenasour spookay
The InGen Tapes' DX-Virus plot point is... pretty clearly not pointing to InGen silencing people for finding out, it's saying that it's spread to humans and that the narrator's father was the first to die to it- more than likely why his photo is him wearing sunglasses.
14:44 this camera dude can only run at the speed of dreams
