theirs meme that summed up the recent godzilla movies perfectly. the Monsterverse capture the Showa era of Godzilla perfectly, while Minus One reminds us that Godzilla can still be a physical representation of nuclear war and human tragedy
My hypothesis for the King Gadora suit is that there will be multiple actors in the suit and inevitably Godzilla will attack them and they will fuse together in the sui
Godzilla as a analog who makes so much sense when you really think about it just imagine being in Tokyo seeing a gigantic lizard look at you with those big eyes and just roaring at you you
Ehhhhhh... I watched it recently, and uh... yeah it's not great. The concepts are pretty good, like the bit about the neighbor, but uh... the execution isn't great
I like to think that the man in the suit picked a lot of inspiration form the cut scenes and scrapped content of shin godzilla. Mainly bc the blood spitting and chunks of flesh tearing down from the godzilla suit man is incredibly similar to a few cut scenes form the movie. It is almost impossible to describe the massive impact shin godzilla had on the fandom, speacially as a work specialised in very dark themes and horror. Oh yeah, fun fact: when being in the larvae state, caterpillars usually "melt" inside it, so to speak. As it's way easier to refrom into a butterfly that way. Remaining in a kind of "soup" that slowly reforms again. (if I'm not mistaken) Cannot imagine the HORRIBLE things the larvea suit girl would be going through :'' '' '')
yeah, the blood vomit (supposedly) having an eye really reminded of the cut scene from shin godzilla where they just find globs of flesh with eyes and teeth. I wonder if the connection is going to go towards the godzilla-humanoids shown at the end of the movie.
@@thelostone2008 that'd be inmesly horrifying. but so cool as well. And would kind of come full circle to the whole theme of this series ( rant ahead, hope you don't mind it, sorry lol): having a man so deeply obsseed with the suit, appearance and whole character of godzilla that he'd end up transforming into what he desired most. And despite the inconmensurable suffering and anger that he went through by such an absurd obssesion, eventually creating a whole genre of species that are just as, if not more twisted than him and ultimately becoming the monster godzilla was created to be.
There’s a series based on shin Godzilla, where there was a whole scene of just pitch blackness, with a faded image of eyes in the background, it genuinely terrified me and made me enjoy Godzilla horror that much more
i love the series cause it truly makes you dislike the godzillasuit man as a villian yeah he had a sadbackstory but his pure atred lead him to truly try n become a fictional character. down to there personality traits and knowingly hurting innocent people just to spread his own pain. showing just how little humanity they actually had in the first place to be so readily willing to change the self at a fundemental level for shear spitte.
Idk why but i have this head canon that anolog horror godzilla is a genuine god of death or sum like that or the man literally turns into godzilla slowly becoming literally immortal
For some reason when they discuss the eyes in the puddle for TMITS, my mind instantly registers as 'Hedorah?', since it's a sludge like substance with eye's seemingly floating inside it, though I doubt that, but it'd be cool if instead of some innocent ending up like the others, nothing goes wrong with production, but something enters the suit afterwards either forming into the suit or just attaching onto someone during production is a cool idea.
I just want to say I'm really happy this channel is still growing strong! It's fun to see a channel spark up so much! P.S: I also really hope you look at the final Monument Mythos video. The series ended recently with Monument Mythos: Modern Day. I suggest watching The Children under the House! It's a pretty interesting Analogue Horror
Modern Godzilla films have a rather simple formula to follow in terms of how you handle him, and you could argue that its been the idea behind pretty much every Godzilla film, idk If its just Godzilla on his own, then its the horror that comes with man vs unstoppable monster. If another Kaiju is thrown into the mix, then its a monster vs monster action plot. Godzilla 2014 and the films that followed have all been monster vs monster, but Minus One showed that the horror elements of Godzilla on his own rampaging through a city can still maintain its horror factors.
I was waiting for you to do this bro like the only reason why I subscribe to you guys was because of this Godzilla video and I have been waiting for you guys to release the second part to it when I saw this it made me bust all over my phone
The monsterverse is sticking to more action based. Cool kaiju fights and kind of going back to the sillier yet entertaining style of showa era godzilla with a bit of the other eras sprinkled on the top. That's not a bad thing since if anything it allows us to have both types of media. With touhou and japan being the main source of dark and more narrative based godzilla films where godzilla is a threat like shin godzilla and minus one. While the monsterverse is a different medium that allows for the crazier shit to happen and us to enjoy. If the monsterverse was also the same as that then there wouldn't be much point to having two different producers making godzilla films at the same time.
There was a time when it was the same and we had 2014 and Shin Godzilla being the two current incarnations and it was never questioned. We finally had two completing Godzillas. They were both very different and it wasn’t boring at all. Serious Godzilla movies are still cool, and everyone still loves them. Minus One was a great movie but Scary kaiju movies from the west is a lost art, so as of this moment we have no real alternative to the Monsterverse from my point of view. This could easily change in time.
There's another Godzilla analog horror called the invasion of godzilla which is even more scarier and disturbing . It's basically body horror mix with action, p good
The atomic breath being blood makes a lot of sense since that’s what Shin Godzilla also had first. Shin being, similarly to the man in the suit, a hot mess of what we assume is radiation
So from what I can see on the Godzilla in the dark video, it is not the same Godzilla as shown in the day animated videos. I believe that this Godzilla is actually the Godzilla featured in Minus One, because of its more upright posture, arms, dorsal plates, and front appearance. Additionally, this Godzilla does not seem as tall as the Godzilla in the day videos, which is featured in the American Godzilla Vs. Kong series.
Hey 4 Plus, I’ve been trying to get my analog horror to take off, and finally decided to post to UA-cam. I’d be great if you could give it a look, maybe even throw it in a video with a few other small creators. Thanks!
Bro wrote a letter in a UA-cam comment section Either way, I'm still liking this comment so it can get seen by him. Your series seems awesome. It made me genuinely uneasy. While it doesn't seem high quality, I can't really fault you on that because it's not really a big project (not like I could do much better anyway). I'll make sure to keep following the project, at least. TLDR: good series. Liking comment so 4 Plus might notice it too.
once the heisei series rolls around they're probably gonna get a new actor for the heisei suit and the original actor could bite him too and possibly every other godzilla in a suit before the cgi legendary and shin godzillas come.
Im shocked a lot of bigger channels havent looked at the suitmation trails This is like the OG Godzilla analog horror Its similar to the man in the suit
I'm not trying to be a downer but can someone explain to me why people think the man in the suit is "groundbreaking" or how in any way it "reinvents analog horror"? It's not a bad idea but it seems quite lazy and not well made. I mean if we're gonna talk about reinventing analog horror how about vintage8's library of work? The mix of digital/analog horror in Valle Verde? Those are top notch and are beyond my skill to make and truly stand out whereas this just seems like something anyone could throw together.
Honestly i feel like they have done an excellent job with the monsterverse. It reminds me of the heisei era. Godzilla isnt necessarily here to help...but he absolutely will destroy anything that threatens the earth
Kirby, Kirby, Kirby He's here to stay! Don't be fooled by his size You won't believe your eyes Kirby, (Kirby!) Kirby, (Kirby!) Kirby, (Kirby!) Kirby, Kirby, Kirby's the one! RIGHT BACK AT YA! YEAH!
I can’t help but notice the possibility the creator of Godzilla man suit took inspo from shin Godzilla I might be overthinking it but the whole (it’s not gonna stop mutating) and the fact that it vomited out flesh goo with eyes which was a deleted scene in shin Godzilla are very similar. P.s. obviously there is inspo from Godzilla lol it’s just those similarities stuck out to me that and the possibility mothra girl might hatch to help Godzilla fight against king ghidorah similar to king of monsters scene
Three recommendations for next time: “PROJECT MONSTER” by Lost Utopia Films “The Invasion Of Godzilla” by Jacob animation And lastly a series by Total Approximation that’s just called “Godzilla Analog Horror”
At first, I thought that maybe the man in the suit was mad at the production company and producers and wanted to kill them, since he kept mentioning his family being killed. But then the Oppenheimer speech set him off, so I'm guessing it is referencing the bombings and that's how he lost his family.
Awesome video man, as always. BUT! Have you heard of someone known as Doctor Nowhere? I totally recommend searching him and watching his stuff, it is…terrifying.
Why does the thumbnail look like that stupid silly meme of Kratos smiling while having his neck and head position the same way as the man in the suit does lol
Another Great Video! Thank you for watching and I promise that the Ghidorah Suit Incident is going to be HUGE!
HELL YEAH!!!!!
Btw I know it's random, but I'm making an animation inspired of your work, hope you like stop motion :3
Will Rodan be in the Ghidorah suit incident and will be also mutate
Why did you feel the need to bring your anti-American propagandist views into the series? Why do you want my countrymen dead?
I hope so. Keep up the good work, young man :)
@Unkn0wingly love your stuff! keep it up man! 🙌
theirs meme that summed up the recent godzilla movies perfectly.
the Monsterverse capture the Showa era of Godzilla perfectly, while Minus One reminds us that Godzilla can still be a physical representation of nuclear war and human tragedy
Honestly i love how godzilla had two recent movies that portrayed both interpretations of him so well
Lets not forget that he (legendary) is more than willing to show us puny humans exactly where we stand if we try to start shit.
My hypothesis for the King Gadora suit is that there will be multiple actors in the suit and inevitably Godzilla will attack them and they will fuse together in the sui

@@ihavecome3127 unfortunately this was not the case, they posted the Gadora video 3 days ago

Their's a Godzilla horror called The invasion of Godzilla
Its on a channel called Jacob Animation.
yep though it more based on shin godzilla then the normal godzilla.
