Note that the method of sacrifice used in the worship of Moloch Baal is burning of children alive inside of the (literal) belly of the beast. The mother likely used the house as a sacrificial pyre, and imprisoned them in their rooms to achieve this, in much the same way as the Canaanites (and corrupted Israelites) sacrificed their infants. Indeed, it is possible that the entire HOME project is being used not just as a coverup for a sacrifice, but as the sacrificial vessel as well.

The allusion to Moloch definitely makes me think this takes inspiration from the Luna Park Ghost Train Fire, an incident in which a park ride was fell under arson, the prime suspect being an unidentified individual photographed at the park wearing a costume that many have linked with Moloch or his worship.
Pretty sure the person was dressed up as part of the attraction (it's a GHOST train remember?), as recently it's been pretty much concluded that the fire was started by a greedy developer who wanted to buy the land.
Fascinating and deeply unsettling, I was already feeling anxious (reasons), before I watched this but my stomach now feels as if I was punched in it an hour or so ago. I am by nature drawn to liminal spaces, which is probably why I find urbex content so addictive as well, but this is a work of art, layered like an infinite onion.
This is the one time I'm actually okay with AI "art". I feel like this series benefits from it. The uncanny look that it displays perfectly compliments the weird, almost impossible space that the series portrays. The reason it works its because its not trying to imitate something, or an artist. It's not trying to replace traditional art. The creator used the limitations of AI, the way it didn't quite manage to create a non-distorted picture, to fit with the uncanny idea of Liminal Land. The guy managed to get something which isn't artistic in the slightest, and managed to use it to create something artistic. The depiction of human beings and emotions coming from something which isn't human. It goes to show that AI can be used by artists and that it can be a tool to create something, or give out ideas. But it cannot be utilized as the sole source of artistic intent. The pictures do not represent humanity. Well, it wasn't made by a human, therefore it's not art. But we can take it, twist it, and contort it in ways that we can make it human. In a way that only someone with true artistic vision can do. Would I have preferred for the images be created by actual artists instead of a program? Yes, of course. But their usage doesn't feel condescending or spiteful like how a lot of tech bros on Twitter do. It feels like a kid who saw the weird images these things were making and thought "What if I use these to make something off putting?"
AI more times then not, makes the art look evil or demonic. Which makes sense because that's what AI is, its ran by demons. Weather you want to believe it or not. It is The Beast system.
100% agreed. Plenty of these analog horror series use shit that by their own logic be seen just as egregious with taking real life photos and photo shopping shit onto them or slightly editing them instead of making their own artwork. AI art should be just as viable to use especially in this case because they can easily print out creepy and disturbing looking images that sell the ideas they want to get across and the fact it is done for free means these Anti-AI zealots have even less reason to bitch and complain. Not everyone can create their own art or make it good enough to get across what they want and therefore AI is a helpful tool for these people to get a foot in or even help them with projects they are working on.
I really enjoy this sentiment! I feel like liminal land was a great way to use AI generation without purposefully using it to create without the theft of artists. Also it gives me DALL-E nostalgia lol
I think distorted faces are creepy no matter what because it leaves us with an empathy of ,"my goodness that could be someone I love or me personally!" When I saw the movie,"the Ring" in the movie theater,I was in my 20's and I saw the woman's distorted face,I screamed like a baby! I've lived through the 1980's and have a nostalgia for them, although I'm plagued by sad nightmares of my childhood home completely empty and the windows shutting me inside
The way this is made is typical for anolog horror but the idea is really original. I really enjoyed the idea of a weird amusement park that seems off at first but can become life threatening later
It's hell, Moloch is likely in c block, where we saw unusual orange glowing like flames. Losing yourself and being stuck in this torturous place forever, the various anomalies. The imagery of liminal land shrinking over the homes with a red background. The area beneath the park is an infinite expanse, hell. The water park makes it more clear, going down each layer? Layers of hell, or because it's water, it is the boatman that brings you to the underworld. Too tired so I hope it makes sense. If you go under the water you'll never want to leave or however they worded it, like the river of lost souls charon ferries you over
So the implication is that Liminal Land is a place where Hell itself is breaching into our world and trying to drag more people in, and CHARON is an organization that's presumably somehow tied to the demons, either willingly working with them or in some kind of arrangement with them to prevent a full-scale invasion of Earth

Liminal Spaces in itself are the most peaceful concept to me. It has so much potential to be the most horrifying thing known to man, but when you see those images, of area devoid of people, they look uncanny, empty. To me, that's true peace.
The two Jacobson kids getting burned alive in their room is another reference to moloch. If you recall the image of moloch is actually a massive cremator oven that ancient Cananites would put their childrens into as a sacrifice to their false god/demon
I worked 20 years in security and spent a lot of time in buildings by myself in the middle of the night. There is nothing that screws with your head like an empty office space or shopping centre. In the middle of the night, all alone with just emergency lights barely touching the corners of the room. Empty room after empty room, your brain starts trying to place logical things into that space but ends up making you think theres things in there moving around. Any sounds are exaggerated and alien. When you walk into an abandoned office and theres just a phone on the floor in the middle of the room, your mind does some crazy things, I have hallucinated the phone ringing before its that powerful. I used to get insane heart rates when a lift door would open, convinced someone to be on the other side. And it would only escalate the longer you were in them. Yeah, liminal spaces are nuts.
There was a mall in my hometown that slowly emptied, closed, and deteriorated before it was finally torn down. One night, after it emptied but before it was actually closed, a friend and I went inside to use a bathroom. The feeling was so intensely surreal, seeing this place I had visited regularly my entire life just hollow, silent, dark but for a few flickering lights along the main hallways. I'll never forget it.
@@SilvrRazorFeather My favourite experience was after a 3.5 hour movie in the cinema that finished at 1 AM. I was literally the only person in the shopping centre and went into the bathroom. The piped, tinny elevator music and flickering light was a bit much, but it was a modern style and everything was a bit too clean. I nearly lost my mind in that bathroom.
Man. You start to realize how even though AI has come so far to looking more human, you can tell it isn’t. I think that’s what makes this series so terrifying. The distorted images gives a feeling that this park is super messed up.
I normally shit on AI generated art/images, but the imperfect human anatomy coupled with the "realistic" environment is way too reminiscent of a dream, or in this case, a nightmare. I feel it is used very effectively here, especially when shown the aftermath of The Anomaly. Not gonna be able to stop thinking about it for a while.
For a little while when i was dealing with a lot of stress I had a this reoccurring dream where I would just wake up in an empty hotel building and I would seem to just continuously aimlessly walk around like the hotel was a maze i couldn't find my way out of.
The most fucked up part is that if you call the number on the missing persons photos, you get an actual message that says the name of the park and then a criptid message near the end.
Something to note about the welcome H.O.M.E video that some people may have already mentioned, theres a barely visible warning when the H.O.M.E vs Liminal land map screen cuts to the next segment. It reads: “Do not attempt to explore or ascertain the true size of the H.O.M.E Facility, as not even we know its true size or extent.” I think its connected to the warnings about removing doors and exits and that thing that's trapped in c block
I had a dream about some liminal spaces shit. It came after normal dreams about loved ones, studying at university, art, food, adventuring or whatever, right before awakening. Wandering in not making sense hallways, endless bathroom stalls and shit. The faces of people suffering in that place, laying/sitting/standing there, disfigured bodies and distorted faces like in thumbnail of yours. The most scary shit was I got there by descending seemingly normal starway and through some doors in normal university, after classes - I remember that I got lost. It came from nowhere, the further I moved more fucked up architecture and room design became. It was like I entered or just somehow was trasnfered to some another layer of reality, hidden from common eye. Like this shit existed all the time like it exists now on, but we can't see it nor we can enter it willfully. Imagine there are more layers, even more fucked up. Imagine you will be transported or whatever there and can no longer getout. Forever imprisoned in unending hellscape of corridors, stairways and doors leading to more looping pathways. I like thinking of it as I was tuned to another frequency during my sleep, but probably that was just my imagination, enhanced by all social media craze about liminal spaces, some H.P.L. craze(for some time in the past I was really deep in to his work, still love it) and overall horror tendencies of todays collective consciousness. Still, dream was really cool and Im really inspired by its contents.
honestly the HOME section reminded me a lot of playcare in poppy playtime, where a bunch of buildings are designed to look like a neighbourhood but they're just shells sticking out of a wall in an enclosed space which you cant leave also the missing posters were so unsettling, they felt off without being obviously edited, little details like the mouth being slightly too large or eyes being a bit too squinted
same, it just feels like someone there is to commentate and I also feel less alone when the video does something like making a knocking sound in the background, it’s less spooky when you and the commentator react to it
yeah this is unrelated but since she was mentioned i might as well apparently, joanna lopez was found. i won’t go too much into it, but on reddit, a post claiming that they managed to come in contact with a joanna lopez who went missing in chicago in 1989 was made. if she’s the same joanna lopez, then she’s alright.
Heyo! Love your vids so much! Do you plan to cover Dog Nightmares? It’s super cool but it fucked me up with the final image, i kept thinking it was coming after me for days.

Thank god you put some calmer music because if I heard that horror music in the background the entire time I would’ve been so scared I would be crapping my pants and would probably not be able to sleep but if I would be able I would have nightmares
At first scary but I don't think I will be that scared of a smiling distorted human as much as I will be scared of being lost in an infinite space, just don't go there and you will be safe easy as that 🤷
TV is weird at times. I fall asleep to MKH 432 sometimes.I can find a really relaxing meditation melody with great imagery of skies, planets and galaxies. This one night I woke up to something that sounded like the very gates of Hell. The sounds was so erratic and horrifying it woke me up out of deep sleep. The screen was an off black background with nothing on it! I remember thinking the channel had to switch but it didn’t, it was actually on the same damn channel! For some reason when you watch some of those “ MKH “ videos it switches after a couple of hours to some dark scary stuff without telling the viewers. Spooky stuff.
The thing I can't get over is that school teacher bringing her first grade (?) kids to the park, abandoning them after SEVEN minutes, and then goes on a different ride never to be seen again. No, seriously, WTF?

Analog horror is so much more scary than ANYTHING else I can think of
transhumanism
Yep, manmade horrors beyond our comprehension@@fcdmfddcfy2388
Man. You start to realize how even though AI has come so far to looking more human, you can tell it isn’t. I think that’s what makes this series so terrifying. The distorted images gives a feeling that this park is super messed up.
liminal land is the one analog horror thats ever actually given me nightmares. love it
Not gonna lie.. As an English learner I chose a peculiar channel to learn the language from, and I like it😂
This series is so contrived. It’s like they worked back from the idea of ‘I want to make an analog horror’ but they didn’t have a story to tell.
Local 58, the godfather of analog horror, does not have a plot
As soon as Charon was mentioned and then subliminal land I was like "oh so this is just an amusement park that takes you to Hell? sick"
Woah.. Okay the part at 12:00 reminded me EXACTLY of a dream i had, the houses and stuff were the same, it feels so weird like it came to life
You are such a good horror UA-cam because you keep it light hearted, keep up the good work
The most fucked up part is that if you call the number on the missing persons photos, you get an actual message that says the name of the park and then a criptid message near the end.
Criptid message?
@@guitarista67 yeah like whispering and shit. Hella creepy
Were you able to hear what the message said? I couldn’t make it out myself.

Liminal Land is actually a huge comfort for me TBH
I kinda like that the fear of being alone is basically the fear of not being alone
I love all your analog horror videos
7:27 bro couldn’t handle the G forces 😭
Nah they made his day
intentionally bad ai generated imagery for horror is the only application that I approve of.
That Home acronym glitches out into Hide, Obscure, Maintain and Evict btw
“Liminal land”? That’s only a little better than “analog horror theme park”
honestly the HOME section reminded me a lot of playcare in poppy playtime, where a bunch of buildings are designed to look like a neighbourhood but they're just shells sticking out of a wall in an enclosed space which you cant leave
also the missing posters were so unsettling, they felt off without being obviously edited, little details like the mouth being slightly too large or eyes being a bit too squinted
At 10:20 you missed that the red text says "MUST stay as long as possible" which is pretty off
I think of liminal spaces as a mixture of unnerving, endless mazes and isolation...ugh
Having someone watching the same thing I am makes me less poopy pants scared, if that makes sense?
same, it just feels like someone there is to commentate and I also feel less alone when the video does something like making a knocking sound in the background, it’s less spooky when you and the commentator react to it
@@slightlybiggeriron you get it.
Walmarts gives me this feel.

The house that the cameraman walks into REALLY reminds me of the one from the Skewbald Mare tapes.
yeah this is unrelated but since she was mentioned i might as well
apparently, joanna lopez was found. i won’t go too much into it, but on reddit, a post claiming that they managed to come in contact with a joanna lopez who went missing in chicago in 1989 was made. if she’s the same joanna lopez, then she’s alright.
in my opinion, liminal spaces are creepy because of uncanny valley, similar to some place we know, but not quite there, missing something
AI should be it’d own genre of horror.
It’s*
It... Is? Terminator, I Have No Mouth And I Must Scream, etc. Unless you're talking about AI art
Heyo! Love your vids so much! Do you plan to cover Dog Nightmares? It’s super cool but it fucked me up with the final image, i kept thinking it was coming after me for days.
another analog horror that i absolutely recommend. this channel did end up covering it, you should look at that vid!@My_pfp_beats_all_dog_breeds.
This is so disturbingly freaky. I love it!
Fantastic video my friend. Subscribed
Simultaneously watching this and cat purring ASMR at 2am hits different.
I have no clue what I came across, yet as I am baking my marshmallow and Carmel brownies, this was a fun watch!
Analog horror has desensitized me to messed up faces now, I really can't help but laugh at creepy face images.
This analog horror is the only one to actually made me feel so uneasy and seeing some of these images had me shaking and terrified in the dark 😭 y’all I don’t get scared easy but this analog horror will ALWAYS make me cry and feel so uneasy and uncomfortable
There’s an SCP similar to this Amusement park.

Thank god you put some calmer music because if I heard that horror music in the background the entire time I would’ve been so scared I would be crapping my pants and would probably not be able to sleep but if I would be able I would have nightmares
Does anyone else not find liminal spaces very scary? If anything i find them kind of comforting in a bizzare way.
At first scary but I don't think I will be that scared of a smiling distorted human as much as I will be scared of being lost in an infinite space, just don't go there and you will be safe easy as that 🤷
I was so upset learning they supported AI art. It’s a shame because I thought the story was pretty good.
the first video being a nod to selene delgato is actually really cute
Damn, five minutes ago? I'm Getting the Food while it's hot
"Lets turn the lights off and the volume all the way up..." Takes me back to when I watched Stickypaddles Creepy Gaming as a kid!
The thing I can't get over is that school teacher bringing her first grade (?) kids to the park, abandoning them after SEVEN minutes, and then goes on a different ride never to be seen again. No, seriously, WTF?
5:33 the cake is a lie lol

Hey Four, if you are still doing takes on different analog horror series, I'd recommend you'd take a look at a series called Angel Hare by The East Patch. It's pretty good and breaks away from the standard norm most series follow.
Everyone has a happy place??
