😂 Today, 9/24/24 there are 62 👍to your comment. I love that! Somehow this young lady speaks to us, ADHD folks. I've only started listening to her a few days ago, already her tips have transformed my Bible study. I feel a since of direction that I didn't realize I was missing.
I have ADHD too and I started the year determined to read my whole Bible this year and I kinda just stopped back in March. I kinda hate to admit that, but two Sundays ago, a kid who literally just received the gift of discernment let the holy Spirit speak to me through himself. He told me EXACTLY what I needed to hear and that was, that I personally will not hear from the Lord what I need to hear about His plan for my life. I'm going to read it, so if that didn't relight the fire in my belly to get back to reading my Bible, idk what else will! I'm just starting to work my way back into it. I'm not going as fast or hardcore as I was so early in the year, but now that it's a fresh new season in the year and I feel like a new chapter or at least paragraph in my life, I'm excited to dive back in! Even the little bit I'm getting into now, I'm remembering a lot of what I was reading previously and I'm so excited to read and learn more and just see what's in there yet to be discovered!! I definitely don't think I'm doing a super deep study, but I'm getting a lot simply from reading. I absolutely have a thirst and desire to study things deeper and learn more and more, but it feels so surface level in exactly the way I need. It's like I need to just scratch that hard film off the top of my Bible so that it's just that little bit softened and ready for me to get in and dig deeper later after I finish reading my entire Bible ❤
Thank you for this! I have started reading the Bible and just googling and finding commentary online. I also learnt to ask the Holy Spirit to guide me through the Bible and to teach me. ❤
I love listening to this Christian lady. Very down to earth and intelligent. Much respect to all lady like Christian’s being respectful of themselves and carrying themselves as real believing women in Christ.
This is so great! I only recently discovered how to start deep diving without going to my pastor/friend every three days (I’m 50!!!)… in turn, I’m teaching our my HS group of young women how to do this on their own… they are absolutely thriving!
Blue letter Bible is an app (and website) that has all sorts of resources including strongs breakdown of the original words. I’ve found it super helpful and much easier to use than my dads physical book.
Rick Warren wrote I think bible study methods and that why I bought the following: the historical atlas, Naves topical bible and Halley's bible handbook. I also have a couple different version of the bible like, the Billy Graham training bible (was a gift), the parallel study bible, student bible, King James and the school and church bible(went to a Catholic High school).
The Amplified Bible, a Strong's concordance, a Young's Analytical Concordance, and a Vines Complete Expository Dictionary are also excellent tools for in depth Bible study.

I enjoy your videos so much. And I like that you said in one of your videos... paraphrasing " when it gets you into your bible, ect.." Thank you Faith❤
@@Janet-kt1nh Please with all due respect, never EVER tell that again to someone with a passion for God. Someone who want's to know what God has to say instead of leaning on their own understanding is amazing.
This is great! I have recently been really trying to grow my relationship with God and take the time out to read and study his word. But I get so frustrated sometimes when Im reading a chapter, but having a hard time understanding the meaning or just the general context. I look online but I’m not always able to find a breakdown on what I’m reading. So this will really help me a lot. Thank you for this. God always makes a way and is more than able!
@@Chaos_and_Creativity The message Bible might contain things that aren't true to the original. I would advise only using it for reference to help understand and only for that reason.
Use biblical tools that are helpful. If they all point to the same direction, then they should work together and be consistent with each other and be able to work as God wills. If there are bits that are challenging or that are not pointed in the same direction as the others, then check with god in prayer and with trusted people of faith in the world. The Bible contains many ways of showing that communication between people is valuable in understanding the relationship between people and between people and God. I’m thinking of all of the letters in the New Testament specifically here. Some parts of prophecy are confusing as we don’t usually have that mindset or imagination to see the whole thing as it was written and intended. In those cases especially, books like the Messiah and interpretations from other writers who are more modern might be useful. Culture information can also be useful in knowing what the human writers knew and experienced and expected their readers would know already. Yes, God is the supreme author of the Bible, but he also wrote through human hands.
I grew up in a church where we all studied the Bible at home and no one went to Bible college. My parents had a commentary set and dictionaries. ❤ now I use online resources.

Get a Strongs Exhaustive Concordence. It contains EVERY word in the Bible, in alphabetical order, and where it is. You can look up a word and find every single time it appears in the Bible. I am surprised you do not list this as number one. Super helpful to get the whole counsel of God on a subject. We al ways need to know what the entire Bible says about a subject in order to fully understand it.
