what is amazing, is, modern gases for surgery, only restrict parts of the central nervous system, some gases like iso-flourine leave no residue, or debilitating effects because they only affect tiny portions disconnecting one system from another, and the brain is still working normally, just out of synch with other comms, or just a phase change of frequency.

So what could we conclude from that regarding DMT?

Maybe DMT exposes in an archetypal way the fundamental structure of the cognitive brain

I heard a story of a dude who was given a substance by random people during his solo trip in Latin America, in a dangerous neighborhood, and he saw himself leaving his body (dead?) and suddenly he recalled his family and how sad they’d be if he disappeared and then he cried and went back to his body. Then we woke up. Till this day he still doesn’t know what he was given and whether or not it was an hallucination or just that he was dying and what he saw was how the process was but decided to go back. It’s very scary

One person left to start trying to find some Ayahuasca. Then another left a short time later to begin the search for some DMT. Good luck Neuronauts!

"Same essential structure" He lists 4 chemicals that are analogues of completely different neurotranmitters as well as nonanalogue agonists. Bit of a careless remark, as the examples directly contradict the statement.
