Okay the title of this video isn't technically clickbait because I'm spending some time in the suburbs this week, but I'm not moving yet. However, I use this vlog to talk about the constant debate in my life: city or suburban life 😅 I think I ultimately feel like there's no reason to stress out about this question - all I have to do is enjoy the season I'm in, and right now that is Toronto 🙌 I also give you a major update on that crochet project I was working on last week (how I accomplished this, I'm still not quite sure). Happy Friday! As I get older, I see more and more big life decisions ahead of me, but I always try to remind myself to enjoy the season of life I'm in (aka: don't let thoughts about the future - or past, for that matter - rob myself from the joy of where I'm at today).

I also started the ACOTAR series shortly after the first book came out and literally had to wait even longer for my local library to get each book in the rest of the series. I don't remember how many Toronto references are in The Chai Factor, but you should definitely check it out as it describes the GO Train stops in detail.

I also crochet and end up with little bits of yarn all the time. I saw another crochet-youtuber that saves their scraps for stuffing along with what you would normally use. Just a thought.
I've been living in Dublin for the past four months and reading books taking place in Dublin, I LOVE being able to recognise all of the specific places mentioned!
You feel like an older sister to me when I watch your videos and get a glimpse of your life (even though we're the same age 😅).
I aspire to do things you do, to live experiences you live - just like (how I imagine) a little sister looks up to her older sibling. I don't want your exact life (we're all unique beings) but I love to dream of doing some things you show online. I'm just a caterpillar that's too scared to be a butterfly 🦋
It's a comfort to me to watch your daily life and get a different perspective on how you tackle obstacles and new experiences that I may come across someday (kinda feels like cheating in life! 😂).

So happy for you about the blanket! I have recently re-started knitting after a 30 year pause?😅😅 I knitted a sweater which is absolutely not perfect but I am super happy to have finished it! And by the way, I am spanish but live in Germany. I travel to Spain at least twice a year and I understand your feelings about the city and the suburbs. Imagine what it is like feeling divided between two countries 😮😮😮😮

Love the little stuffies you made. I’m the same and hate to have little bits of yarn left over so you can always use the little leftovers that can’t really make anything as stuffing for your animals. Hope that’s a helpful tip.
Kudos on the blanket!!! It turned out so beautifully!!! your mom must have been thrilled to receive a gift so special. Hedwig and the bee are so cute, but that chicken 🐔 that chicken gave me Grease vibes 😝 it needs a leather jacket 😉 About the city/out of the city dichotomy, I feel the same way. The city is convenient to live in, with so many opportunities, but when I go to other places more rural or more little-town oriented, it is so relaxing, so peaceful, that I want to live there too. So great that you can enjoy both 😉

I felt a little "homeless" when I was in college, because I lived one place during the week, and went back to my parents house on the weekends, and little by little I started to feel like I belonged to neither. I LOVED being out and about in college, but when it came to having a "home" I felt like it was basically me and my overstuffed backpack together against the world 😅
Adored the cosy chats in this one! I have been dying to get back into crochet but my arm still hurts when I do it 😭 hope the physical therapy catches on soon lol
