15 years ago, before Sawstop, I was in the market for a replacement of my old Craftsman contractor's table saw. I had come into a nice chunk of money and was looking to do this time and be happy for the rest of my life. I was visiting Green Bay, Wi and found Woodworking Depot. At the time, they had one of everything from every manufacturer on display. The clerk steered right to a Delta Unisaw with the 5 HP motor. He was kind enough to give me some information on several others but he had me at "hello" with the Delta. If Sawstop would have been available, I probably would have bought it just for the safety factor but, doing some research on what was available then, it was the Delta....and then everything else. I bought the one with the 52 inch to the right of blade table. I still have it, use it religiously and that 5 HP motor has never once bogged down on anything I cut. Thanks to that guy at Woodworker's Depot, he saved me from buying the 3 HP motor and spending the extra bucks on the 5HP......I'm figuring that this will be the last table saw I'll ever have to buy!

Even worse with Felder/Hammer. I replaced my Hammer table saw with a SawStop and am really happy I did so. I do have a Felder Jointer/Planer, which is an excellent machine but with the same abysmal instructions as my original Hammer J/P and table saw I bought 12 years ago.
Very excited. I just purchased the ICS and waiting for it to arrive. Im a general contractor and have never built a cabinet in my life but I want to change that. My friend is a cabinet maker and Ive watched and helped him over the years, he told me to go big with the HP so I did. Good points were that I can grow into it and if I ever wanted to sell it there are lots of takers for a saw that good and that big. I have a good shop and look forwarded to piecing together a great little shop and I fully understand the value of good tools and this seems to be the center piece of a shop.
Cam, I'm from Canada and oh my favourite holiday is Boxing Day, but not because it's similar to Black Friday in the USA. But because this year it is our 30 year wedding anniversary. It's cool that they gave you the saw.
SS is giving away saws to all UA-cam content creators with a large audience for advertisement and choking off the competition. And the fact that they are 10 mins away makes it a no brainer!
Has to be Christmas, celebrating our Lords birth! Thanks for the review of the ICS. I have had the 3 hp PCS for about 3 years and love it. Love your new saw though. Big fan of SawStop!
I asked him this before but he just said he wasn’t really interested in them which is his choice. I think every cut in this video would have been easier and faster on a euro slider with a larger blade, particularly I noticed the way the pieces caught on the table and didn’t pull back smoothly and then trying to cut 4” material in two passes is a hassle.
@@austin357 I agree. I own a Hammer K3, and while it's not an "industrial" slider like a Felder or Martin, it's still light years ahead of a sliding attachment on a cabinet saw.
I really need the Sawstop feature. I know some people are comfortable without it. Just a personal choice. A local shop I go to has a Martin slider than can take a 22” blade. It’s pretty slick.
@@BlacktailStudio that’s perfectly reasonable, if we all thought the same the world would be boring. Hopefully felder will eventually bring their non-destructive equivalent tech down from the format4 line!
Ive owned my sawstop for many years, i ordered one before they were even made, ive yet to find fault in these saws, im a believer ..... woodworker for 35 years and still got all ten fingers!
I put three pieces of velcro vertically on each side of the dust shield so that dust shoe skirting can be attached when making the two and three inch end cuts. Cuts down most of the dust escaping.
My favorite holiday is what we call here in Brazil "June's holidays" or something like that. There are a few holidays in June that they kind of put together... You know? Anyway, the food is amazing! (I just got hungry again now! 😂) Fantastic, Cam! Congrats!!! 😃 I just bought my first table saw here, it's a Stanley... Contractor's table saw, I guess. But my space isn't big, so... I'm pretty happy with it. 😊 Anyway, stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
Christmas Day! Thank you for showing the sliding table…I’m waiting for my 3hp PCS 52” with the TSG-FDC to come in. One employee tried to talk me out of the slider but it was what I wanted and your video just enforced the need. I don’t think I need the industrial saw as you have as I’m not a professional. You’re absolutely correct that the employees at SawStop are top notch and they don’t receive any commission if you buy from them and we’re quite happy that I was buying from a local dealership here in N.C. thanks again!
Veterans Day - free food & coffee everywhere. Where was the love when we came home from the jungle 50 years ago? ... I love your new dream shop. Looking forward to it being set-up and you're back into cranking out phenomenal tables. ... Stay safe.
I had been waiting for a sale on a contractor saw, an upgrade from a job site pos I had. My wife saw me watching a hotdog vs Sawstop video and told me to get that one because she like that I had fingers... The safely feature is great. Owned my for a few years and haven't tripped it and hope I never do, but the quality of the saw is also as good a any others out there.
@@Otto-W Same for me. Had a minor table saw incident a few years before. Was shopping for a new table saw and my wife insisted that I buy the Sawstop. She got no argument from me.
I purchased the Saw Stop 52" contractor saw in 2020 a month before the price went up $200 . I am happy with my purchase . My only complaint was the power switch installation getting my hand to bolt it up , lucky my wife came to the rescue with smaller hands. I added the mobile base , cast iron wings and over head dust collection
Surfing Season 🏄♂️ although there is no “end” to surfing, e.g., Endless Summer!! Perhaps someday I’ll have a shop like this. Too many things in my bucket list! (A good thing.)
I live just outside of London ( UK ) in Tunbridge Wells. I am a loyal Royalist and I have just experienced the Platinum Jubilee. Although not strictly a Holiday, it was a magnificent three day spectacular event. The light show projected onto Buckingham Palace was indeed impressive. Your skill as demonstrated really impresses me, love it. When I win the lottery I will fly out to meet you, subject to invitation, there I will bleed you dry on helping me design and equip my dream workshop. Dream on. My best regards to you Sir. John Roake.
Christmas Day because it’s my birthday. Now you know why my name is Chris. I know I’m a little bit late to the party on this video but I certainly enjoyed it and just found you right now I have a Delta that is absolutely brand new only a few weeks old and already I’m looking at the saw stop 36 inch to upgrade to. Thanks for all your great information I look forward to watching many more of your videos
Thanks for your videos you have always been so informative straight to the point showing your mistakes as experience not failures. No need to respond. So glad to see you are doing well. Thanks Chris
Love your channel. Your close up camera work is aces. First, I can’t believe a saw with these capabilities is $5,000 plus extras. I have a 40 year old PowerMatic that cost $750 in 1980. Has none of the features of a Sawstop. But it is light enough and on wheels so for major work I roll it out on the driveway, dust collection solved. Oh ya, I live in San Diego so weather is not an issue. Sorry for everyone else.
And that Powermatic is probably now worth $1500+ I bet. I figure that not going to the E.R. would save $3000 or more, so it's hard to compare apples to oranges. But those Powermatics are terrific saws.
2:45 it's like a shop advent calendar 😂 Putting that kind of effort into the instructions really shows you the kind of effort they put into their products.
I've been using my PCS for about 6 years now and I love it. I like the way you made the outfeed table. I have a small shop and my outfeed table doubles as an assembly table.
Congratulations on the new slider Saw. I wish I had room for one in my home shop. Used a SCMI with 12x8 slider for years when I was building cabinets, large foot print on it, 18' square. Now that I'm an instructor I spend my summer holiday with my jet table saw. I look forward to watching more of your vides, this was my first. Thanks
Any holiday is great for some rest....Nice upgrade on the HP's, bigger shop requires bigger tools and you will be able to process pretty much everything you get a request for, very professional, Congratulations.
Christmas: man that saw is AWESOME!! The slider is the coolest part. The dust collection does an amazing job of keeping the man glitter out of your lungs. Congratulations brother!!
Boxing Day is a British holiday (also celebrated in Canada) when you are supposed to box up your leftover food from Christmas celebrations and give it to the poor. Don’t think it has anything to do with presents or boxing up presents other than food.
Favorite holidays is from Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year time period, i know it’s long but it integrates all the holidays, the spirits and the birthdays of my favorite people. Love sawstop. Your set up is great. William NG is really good, he is local to me. I follow him too for the knowledge he shares. Also since this is the first time I am leaving a comment on your channel I want to take the opportunity to thank you for the videos, the content is informational and thanks for the tips and pointers. 👍🏻
Awesome. About the instructions for your new table saw, well that is what supposed to be. Love the color coordinated with the parts. Agree, 99% of instructions on anything are either scant or if any, not in color and not specific so I usually end up looking for YTb videos a lot for better instructions. Yes, companies should emulate SawStop. May be one I get that table. Congratulations. 🎉
I just purchased the Industrial, 36 inch 5 hp saw, mobile base, overhead dust guard, and the slider for my saw. The slider, unfortunately did not arrive at the same time my saw arrived, and hopefully they will ship it free as it was a 6 hour round trip from Medford to Eugene. I have not set the saw up yet, as I am waiting on the slider to arrive. I want to see how much room it will take up in my garage/shop. The one thing I can say so far about this saw, is the quality that is packed into it. Just the feel, the touch, the weight of this saw tells me that yes, I probably bought something a bit off an overkill, but in truthfulness, I am already in love with it, and I still have not powered it up yet! The one thing I did, that I am sure is just a bit nuts, is I took excellent car wax, and waxed the outside of it, to help keep the dirt from building up on it. $7,000 is a bit to spend on a saw..but, I believe it is well worth it...my fingers sure are...I play the piano as well, and I have taken a liking to my fingers!
Cam, had one of these large sliders come back. Customer picked up the boxes, and tried to put it together. Guess what I have to do, tomorrow. Yep, try to figure out what the customer did wrong. Just by looking at the hardware packs, and the bolt markings on the other parts, it is going to be a "fun" day tomorrow. Manual says 5 to 10 hours to assemble, I will take at least 10 hours, to fix the various "issues" with this. The fence has numerous saw blade "incursions." I know you know what rotor blade strikes are. This has some. (Used to be a Chinook mechanic, in a previous life.) LOVE your videos! I've done all of TWO of these sliders, in 3 years. Oh, I HATE cutting rails and tubes! steve
Boxing day is my favorite holiday because it's the day after christmas and extends that break from work out just a little longer. Plus it's a good buffer to my birthday.
@@BlacktailStudio sure it is. Why should my reasoning for liking a holiday be any less legitimate than some other silly reason like religion or tradition?
Boxing Day..... I grew up in the UK! On December 26th, back in the day, the rich boxed up gifts to give to the poor. In like-kind, the day after Christmas was a day off for servants and their masters would box up leftover food from their opulent Christmas meals and deliver it to their servants. Happy holidays 🎄
Even videos like this you inspire me. Your videos are the reason I’ve taken up woodworking as a hobby/small craft style business. Keep up the great work.
Awesome set-up. Best saw in my opinion. Not that my opinion matters. If anyone has any issues with saw stop Stumpy Nubs has a video on it explaining the benefits and myths of saw stop.
fwiw... weekend warrior, I mean woodworker/furniture maker, here and I have the PCS with the 52" Beisemeyer and a full 4x8 feed table. This is probably my forever saw and it is fantastic. Thanks for the video and I love your setup.
Christmas. Brings memories of playing in the snow as a kid long with the tranquil beauty around the mountain meadows I used to go snow-shoeing in. Congrats on the Epic saw upgrade! I'm a huge fan of Hammer/Felder 5 function combination machines, but as a hobbyist I can't really justify that expense.
I love pay it forward day, because that’s where I drive out to your shop and you pay me forward your old Saw Stop. 🤣😂👍🏼 PS, I’m not picky which day you pick.
I had a 5 hp powermatic 66 3 phase for 12 years and loved it. The weight and build were significant. However age and eye sight started to get into my head and realized that my insurance deductible was more than a new SawStop. After reading Chris Schwarz's review of the PCS, judged against his gold standard the Powermatic 66 I went with the ICS which addressed all the critiques Schwarz raised. After using it for 2 months now I like it WAY better than my 66 . The engineering on the different features are clever and fit and finish are top notch. I got the small slider as well . It's a little finicky but I am learning to use it and it is proving very useful.
Easter. Jesus and all that. Great video as usual! You absolutely deserve to be backed by SawStop. You provide excellent workmanship and content! Love to see the shop coming together.
Boxing Day: Began with masters "boxing" up Christmas presents for their house servants. Now the rich give Christmas presents to those less fortunate. Celebrated on the day after Christmas...why do I feel like that just earned me the troll of the week? Great video as always. Wonder if you could do a dust skirt with velcro as the another subscriber suggested, but leave the front open so you can still see the blade and to keep airflow going. Ps. LOVE how you handle trolls.
4th of July. Just wanted to say I love your work and because of you and others like you I started woodworking and my own channel as well. I’ve been watching your videos for some time now and look forward to learning from each of them. Thanks for all you do and good luck! BTW, my favorite video of yours is the burnt table with the happy accident in the corner. 👍👍👍
NY day. Boxing day is so called because the day after Christmas the church used to open the donation boxes and distribute their contents to the poor 😊 Great video, super jealous of your new setup Cam!
What a surprise. I have had an ICS for a few years. Great saw. Glad to see the new manual. For anyone who got the small crosscut slider, there is no adjustment. Mine was out by 11 thou front to back. Sawstop was no help responding to my email with referring me to the Oz distributor who asked the same question and got a stupid answer referring to the large crosscut slider. After a series of emails via the local distributor to Sawstop and back I was advised that there was no adjustment for the small slider. Go figure. My solution was to brass shim the join to the table. Now within 2 thou. Pity Sawstop had not addressed this simple solution
Nice review, and tool. I can attest to the value of buying the best (if you have room and $$). Twenty five years ago I bought a Delta Unisaw (best in class at that time) and it is still going strong. I added an extension table and Biesmire fence (which your fence is based on) and later a drop down roller out-feed. I am sure your saw is better in many ways, but not by much. You will enjoy this for decades!
Here I am with my 8 1/4 dewalt job site saw dreaming of the SawStop contractor model and then I see this… Sweet looking setup for sure! Christmas is the favorite with thanksgiving and Easter tied for second.
Hi Cam just found your channel and super impressed that you will take the time to video chat to help a fellow woodworkers out earned a subscriber just on hearing this on the video
Edit: Christmas of course, celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ. Congratulations. I just picked up my 36” 3hp PCS. I’ve got a garage shop, so space is premium. It’s clearly the highest quality most expensive piece of equipment that I have. But as a retired Marine living on disability, I’ve got to take baby steps. I splurged on the sawstop for the obvious reasons. Quality and my desire to keep the appendages I have left. I enjoy your content and look forward to more. Thanks 2nd edit: Boxing Day is a British holiday where the servants trade places with their masters. ( learned that from an episode of MASH)
Hi Cam, really enjoying your channel. Ok here it goes. I am shopping for a new table saw. I am a hobbyist but have sold some tables and want to get to the next level as I am retiring in the next couple of years. I essentially work in one half of our two car garage, as far as my dust making tools go. I do have dust collection and all. My dilemma is weather to spend the cash for a Saw Stop. I know you are probably somewhat biased as they gave you that saw and yes it's a beauty. I am looking at a Harvey 2hp set up. If you are not aware of Harvey they own Bridge City now and their miter gauge is all cnc aircraft aluminum and included with the saw, their sliding table also is of this same quality as the optional router table I would consider at some point. The miter saw is the high low variety which "looks" better than the Sawstop. There is nowhere to go see a Harvey...This saw is 70% the cost of the SawStop. I consider myself to be a very safe wood worker, but as injured people say, so were they...I am trying to justify spending the extra money for the safety but not sure if the saw itself is really superior. It appears Sawstop is taking over the industry and hopefully not just for the safety. Sure you have to pay for the safety as it is an engineered really great feature. One thing I do like about the Sawstop is the folding outfeed table and in a smaller shop it would be nice to be able to fold it down when not in use. I would have to upgrade to the Harvey Compass miter gauge. My local Woodcraft would be my support for it and I also hear SawStop is amazing with customer service. Harvey has some folks not so happy. I know spending money is always a personal decision, I guess I am thinking money saved can be used to buy....a track saw! But seriously, any comment or thought you may be able to provide would be so much appreciated. Sorry for such a long note....Brian
Didnt know they were local to the PNW. You’ve turned me onto a lot of local places in the Portland area. I dream of being able to have a saw like this but even more than that a small shop to work out of. Love the videos and you’re a true inspiration to keep working towards having a fraction of the shop space you have. Love the videos!
lols that climatic build up for the replacement of a sawstop with a sawstop. Enjoy your new saw. I passed on an ICS for a PCS. Because of 3 phase power issues. Although that 5hp ICS and larger table top would have been a beast over that 3hp PCS.
New to Your Channel. Great Video and information. Not ready for the Saw Stop Yet, but absolutely love this saw. Thanks for all Your work in putting this Video together. Looking forward to more in the future.
Christmas is my favorite time of year. Super awesome video. I truly enjoy watching what you do and I am going to start creating some videos of my own very soon. I have been watching a number of vid's on Sliding table saws. These look like something I would like to have but now that I see the sliding arm on the Sawstop I am thinking that I could get the best of both worlds with the Sawstop. Thanks for the video.
Christmas. This was a great review. I am just a hobbyist so I learn a lot from you and I enjoy watching each of your videos. I have a Sawstop 1.75 PCS and I love it. It’s a Hugh upgrade over my old Delta TS-300. I can’t see ever needing the ICS but it was really informative to see your review. I was especially interested in the slider. Good work as always. I look forward to your videos. Thanks J.
Hogmanay! Coming from the Scottish highlands this is 7 days of drinking and dancing for anyone between the ages of 7 and 70 - from New Year’s Eve if you didn’t know. Even with an Oneida dust collection system I still get dust build up inside mine. Also Wish sawstop had a trade in and reconditioned saw exchange system - making trade up easy for the mere mortals
I've worked in commercial and hobbyist woodworking all my life. I've never tried a Saw Stop brand saw but I've heard lots of good things about them. I cut my teeth on Delta Unisaw and old Laguna sliding table saws, as well as bigger commercial equipment by SCM, Ball, Diehl, Michael Weinig, Nash, and other brands. What I've learned over the years is that top quality equipment in absolutely a must. Next is an intimate understanding of that tools use and adjustment, as well as its safe operation. In my early years, I worked alongside far too many old veterans with missing fingers and complete body impalement from kick backs (one half way through his face). So if a quality piece of equipment can save a few body parts, it has to be a good thing.
Wow. I've heard about a lot of hand injuries due to a table saw, but this was the first tooth injury. You gotta stop feeding wood through the saw with your mouth!
Independence day. Congrats on the upgrade. I love my SawStop. The only thing I dont like about it is the cast iron table will rust just by glancing at it with perspiration on your hand. I've cleaned it and waxed it but it's just vulnerable. My old Rockwell was much more resistant to rust. Love your channel.

Has to be Christmas, celebrating our Lords birth! Thanks for the review of the ICS. I have had the 3 hp PCS for about 3 years and love it. Love your new saw though. Big fan of SawStop!
Thanks bud!
My birthday is my best holiday, not really a holiday but a good day when all my daughters come to see me. Great saw good luck with it.
Thanks Don!
Christmas! Did you consider a euro style slider over a cabinet saw? Perhaps a Felder or SCM?
@@BlacktailStudio The only people that "need" Sawstop need to stay away from table saws all together
Favorite holiday is definitely Christmas. Enjoy the new saw! Thanks for sharing, and the general advise, and comments to help me and others.
I think it would be cool if you did a vid on the business side of thing, such as taxes, accounting, maybe marketing etc.
Maybe I’ll start with that on my blog
Ive owned my sawstop for many years, i ordered one before they were even made, ive yet to find fault in these saws, im a believer ..... woodworker for 35 years and still got all ten fingers!
I put three pieces of velcro vertically on each side of the dust shield so that dust shoe skirting can be attached when making the two and three inch end cuts. Cuts down most of the dust escaping.
Oh, I like that david.
My favorite holiday is what we call here in Brazil "June's holidays" or something like that. There are a few holidays in June that they kind of put together... You know? Anyway, the food is amazing! (I just got hungry again now! 😂)
Fantastic, Cam! Congrats!!! 😃
I just bought my first table saw here, it's a Stanley... Contractor's table saw, I guess. But my space isn't big, so... I'm pretty happy with it. 😊
Anyway, stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
Thanks Mario! I’m excited for it. Congrats to you too
Christmas Day!
Hahahahahaha!!! I love the “Troll of the week!” And to be completely transparent, I’m usually the cynical one. LOL!
Ha! Trying Paul
Veterans Day - free food & coffee everywhere. Where was the love when we came home from the jungle 50 years ago? ... I love your new dream shop. Looking forward to it being set-up and you're back into cranking out phenomenal tables. ... Stay safe.
Thanks Martin! I’m pretty lucky
Christmas! Can you help me talk my wife into letting me get a table saw? 🤣
I should start a scared straight program for wives and husbands with missing fingers
Forget your wife, call up SawStop and tell them to send you a saw for free because you're doing a UA-cam review...
i enjoyed watching you set up your sawstop… with sufficient details but not too much… appreciate your personal impressions 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
european sliding table saws seem so much more thought out. take a look at a felder k700
Just looked that Felder... quite awesome machine
Very true, even the K500p, it's all designed around the sliding table instead of designed around a cabinet saw body.
Christmas: Wish they were sold in Australia.
They aren’t?? Crazy
Aussie's don't need them, they are used to every thing around them trying to kill or damage them, so are immune. 😁
Carbatec does sell them in Australia.
Bought mine from Carbatec in Sydney
Surfing Season 🏄♂️ although there is no “end” to surfing, e.g., Endless Summer!! Perhaps someday I’ll have a shop like this. Too many things in my bucket list! (A good thing.)
Birthday, for now. Everyone of them brings me closer to retirement.
For sure
I live just outside of London ( UK ) in Tunbridge Wells. I am a loyal Royalist and I have just experienced the Platinum Jubilee. Although not strictly a

Looks like an advent calendar for the parts.
Memorial Day because we recognize the sacrifices of service members. Very informative and cool to see.
Good call Luis
2:45 it's like a shop advent calendar 😂
Putting that kind of effort into the instructions really shows you the kind of effort they put into their products.
For sure
I've been using my PCS for about 6 years now and I love it. I like the way you made the outfeed table. I have a small shop and my outfeed table doubles as an assembly table.
That’s a great machine
Sawstop is great. Stay warm and thanks for the content and Knowledge
It is just Christmas 🎄. What a piece of equipment, still working with my 1962 Craftsman.
That’s so cool
I got you beat 1953 Shopsmith. 2nd owner but I have a contractor SawStop on order. So someday, hopefully soon, you can be back in the lead.
Thanks
That’s awesome Karry!
Any holiday is great for some rest....Nice upgrade on the HP's, bigger shop requires bigger tools and you will be able to process pretty much everything you get a request for, very professional, Congratulations.
For sure Luis
Saw Stop is awesome. I love my 3 HP PCS. Assembly couldn't have been easier. The build quality just can't be beaten and the safety is peace of mind.
ua-cam.com/video/ZdlXWX01DMA/v-deo.html
It definitely can be beaten 😜
SawStops customer service and tech support are the best!!
For sure!
Christmas: man that saw is AWESOME!! The slider is the coolest part. The dust collection does an amazing job of keeping the man glitter out of your lungs. Congratulations brother!!
That’s bud!
Boxing day was typically when people went round with presents, traditionally in boxes, hence the name, your welcome and great work, an inspiration.
Boxing Day is a British holiday (also celebrated in Canada) when you are supposed to box up your leftover food from Christmas celebrations and give it to the poor. Don’t think it has anything to do with presents or boxing up presents other than food.
I’ve heard so many different explanations
Boxing Day is the absolute best holiday as nobody has any expectations. Loving the instructions and how the nuts and bolts are packaged.
I didn’t know that!
That is an awesome saw. "Dear Santa"...... My 25-year-old Delta cabinet saw may be replaced after watching this.
Wow, I appreciate you taking the time to do so
That’s awesome Matt!
I bought myself a sawstop, earlier this year. It is an incredible saw. Have not regretted it one bit. And, I won't cut off my finger. :D Win Win.
Thanks!
Cam, had one of these large sliders come back.
Customer picked up the boxes, and tried to put
it together. Guess what I have to do, tomorrow.
Yep, try to figure out what the customer did
wrong. Just by looking at the hardware packs,
and the bolt markings on the other parts, it is
going to be a "fun" day tomorrow. Manual says
5 to 10 hours to assemble, I will take at least 10
hours, to fix the various "issues" with this. The
fence has numerous saw blade "incursions."
I know you know what rotor blade strikes are.
This has some.
(Used to be a Chinook mechanic, in a previous
life.)
LOVE your videos! I've done all of TWO of these
sliders, in 3 years.
Oh, I HATE cutting rails and
tubes!
steve
Boxing day is my favorite holiday because it's the day after christmas and extends that break from work out just a little longer. Plus it's a good buffer to my birthday.
That’s not a real answer
@@BlacktailStudio sure it is.
Why should my reasoning for liking a holiday be any less legitimate than some other silly reason like religion or tradition?
Boxing Day..... I grew up in the UK! On December 26th, back in the day, the rich boxed up gifts to give to the poor. In like-kind, the day after Christmas was a day off for servants and their masters would box up leftover food from their opulent Christmas meals and deliver it to their servants.
Happy holidays 🎄
No kidding??
Even videos like this you inspire me. Your videos are the reason I’ve taken up woodworking as a hobby/small craft style business. Keep up the great work.
No way. That’s awesome man
Oh damn, that fence adjustment is a genuine game changer. Incredible 👌👌
Christmas for me. Great video and very helpful to those of us that are trying to choose which SawStop to get. Thank you!
Thanks Andre!
That’s a good one
Christmas, Love your tablesaw,, awsome that you got it free,, great video. thanks for sharing
For sure
I love pay it forward day, because that’s where I drive out to your shop and you pay me forward your old Saw Stop. 🤣😂👍🏼
PS, I’m not picky which day you pick.
Cheers!
That’s great to hear. I haven’t used that powermatic. So nice to get the personal feedback.
Easter. Jesus and all that. Great video as usual! You absolutely deserve to be backed by SawStop. You provide excellent workmanship and content! Love to see the shop coming together.
Thanks bud!
That’s just good feedback! And I do my best.
That was definitely my most popular video!
NY day. Boxing day is so called because the day after Christmas the church used to open the donation boxes and distribute their contents to the poor 😊 Great video, super jealous of your new setup Cam!
Thanks Jo!
That’s a bummer
Christmas,,,,,I’m so jealous with your new Sawstop toy,,, but at the same time happy for ya.. It’s one mean looking machine!!!!!
Thanks man!
Thanks for the detailed description of your new saw. Christmas!
I have the industrial SawStop and love it. No buyer remorse here. Great video.
Love to hear that!
Christmas morning. Love seeing my daughter's pure joy. Love the video Cam wish you and your family the best.
Thanks bud! You too!
I am just getting into wood working as a hobby...I am drooling watching this video..lol
Thanks Matt!
Christmas. I've got sooo much saw envy now! Keep the shop updates coming, I really enjoy seeing how you build everything out.
Thanks bud!
The Overarm dust collection does a better job than the floating dust collection guard. I used it for a decade and absolutely love how well it works!!!
Nice!
That’s awesome to hear Luke
Easter. I wish I had the space in my shop for a saw like that. I like the dust collection system.
Thanks
2nd edit: Boxing Day is a British holiday where the servants trade places with their masters. ( learned that from an episode of MASH)
Shut up... really??
I really appreciate that!
lols that climatic build up for the replacement of a sawstop with a sawstop. Enjoy your new saw. I passed on an ICS for a PCS. Because of 3 phase power issues. Although that 5hp ICS and larger table top would have been a beast over that 3hp PCS.
I know right?
For sure shaine!
Thanks J.
That’s a great saw you have. I’m sure it’s good enough forever!
Thank u for posting this I’m very happy u did post it bcos I like saw stop ✋ a lot and am thinking of getting1 thanks again
That does seem like something they would do
My favorite holiday, by the way...is Christmas and Thanksgiving...because it means a lot more family time! And...I love christmas music!
For sure Matt
Well said George
Oh interesting
I pulled the trigger on a track saw in place of a large table saw. For dimensioning and breaking down sheet goods it was worth every penny
Good call!
