I had a bunch of malfunctions with mine, then just ran like 400 rounds through it and all the issues stopped.

I really wanted this gun. I saw a few videos saying they had this issue, so I'd figure I'll wait a bit. It definitely seems like a failure in Quality Control. I've had good luck with my P320 M17 but it feels like the first round of customers has been beta testers lately for their new products.

Very nice gun overall, great shooting, and power I recommend.

I'm going to run another 100 rounds(200 rounds shot already). If I still have issues. I will send it back to Sig. I've cleaned and lubed it twice. Thanks for the update.

Hi Supermike-I am glad to hear that you were taken care of. I also sent mine in earlier this month, and SIG Sauer Custom Shop turned it over pretty quickly. Work done on mine was extractor replacement and transition polish. I replied back on AM’s posts, as he was also having some trouble before getting his worked on. I tested with 115 and 124 gr ammo last night, and it works just fine.

I currently have the p365 Fuse on lay a way right now. I'm pretty disappointed that I'm seeing so many individuals having issues with this gun. Hopefully, mine will have no problems out of the box, but I'm glad to know Sig will fix the problems if my new gun has any.

Hopefully yours will run out of the box. Thankfully, there wasn’t a design flaw.

@mike34744 I finally got my p365 fuse out of lay a way yesterday, and luckily, the 300 rounds I put through it so far, I had no issues. Every round shot and went into battery and I even got the gun pretty hot and didn't get any malfunctions.

I messaged them about mine because my failure to feed while loading is crazy and is simply unacceptable. I keep racking it over and over and it just seems like something may be catching. Havent gone to shoot it yet but rather catch this problem early.

Mine is having similar issues but not quite as bad as you experienced. 300 rounds down range so far. May go buy some of sigs ammo as in my experience it’s loaded pretty hot and put 100 or so rounds thru it. If things don’t seem to smoothen out and clean up I’ll send it to SIG and have them look at it. Good to know you experienced a quick turn around time

If you like the gun, don't give up on it.
I had a 43X that didn't become reliable until the 750 round mark, and I even sent it to Glock well before then. I noticed the malfunctions were spreading apart in round count, so I just kept shooting until it finally broke in.
There's friction points that cause malfunctions, and those multiple surfaces need polished by running rounds through, and it doesn't help that Sig crams as many rounds as they do in one mag. That puts a lot of pressure on the bottom of the slide, where the top round rubs against the belly of the slide.
Exercising the springs so that they loosen up helps. You can do that with a pencil when the mag is empty. Just push the follower up and down repeatedly.
Running dummy rounds thru, repeatedly, would help as well to polish certain areas.
Look at the areas on your slide that Sig addressed here, and you can address yours, too.
You could speed up the process, and polishing is easy work.

It’s funny you say to polish because when I sent it off that what they did.

I really like my new fuse, although I did put the old style sites on it I guess I just got used to them but that new 4.3 barrel is a real tack driver. For fun I like putting the fuse slide on the Legion grip, looks really good shoots like a dream.

the issue isn't the gun itself its that new sig refuses to pay up for appropriate quality control. Let the customer do the job and if they need to send it back, thats "cheaper" than just making sure you have zero lemons.

Your comments make sense... but at the same time the reputation is declining... that is to say, what is cheap today may cost you dearly tomorrow.

At least you got a FREE high quality polishing job out of it. That can cost over $100 from a local Gunsmith.

@@mike34744 Yes bit not as bad as yours, I did polish the feed ramp, stripper bar and breach face prior to shooting after seeing som others and still had issues. Not magazine related as I used them in my P365 AXG Legion and ran with them fine. Will see what they say when I get mine back, like the firearm when it works but all the failures to go to battery is an issue. As long as it runs as well as yours and Average Marksman I will be happy.
