The JD 3R Series tractor platform is dated, way over priced for what you get and not nearly as good as the the 2R series. Detractors include: fuel tank over steering wheel, no MSL loader option, no standard rear SCVs, halogen lighting before 24 model, limited leg room, no arm rests, etc. in its current configuration compared to other R specked tractors it is substandard. JDs upgrade to LED lighting is a good gesture, but a complete refresh should have been released in 2024. JD needs to pull its head out of its proverbial ass.
@@papemachinery.agturf please pass on my comments to your JD representatives. I’ve own 2, 3, 4, and 5 series tractors. You’d swear that each line was manufactured by a different company let alone division.
Great video. Been enjoying your reviews. I bought a 2025R seat with its thicker padding, and armrest, and mounted it to my OOS 3039R’s air seat platform, mine now has much more premium seating now.
Yes, introducing John Deere’s new 2024 3R Series Premium Tractor spec, with introduced standard LED for new model year. Everything else a carry over from seven years ago at inflated price point. Now let’s spend the next 20 minutes talking about all the options/extras available to buy - that otherwise should be included in the base platform. Did I mention - this is JDs premium three series trimmed tractor.
Nothing new except a higher 2024 price for LED lights and metal guards on the ROPS flashers. But if nothing material to the drivetrain or hydraulics changes, it's easier to make money on common parts long-term that Deere is famous for of course. That's the business model.
Nice tractor except except 3 things No arm rest, relocate fuel Fill to rear of tractor and maybe a more ergonomically design for loader joy stick come on John Deere this is a premium Tractor with a premium price
Thank you for the great video on the john Deere 3039r that's a great tractor been waiting to buy the 3046r was hoping this year but thought they would have made some changes to the fuel location and just maybe the loader joy stick or some arm rests such as the 2 series so ergonomically designed and a wider choice of tires I hear the same thing from mini other people so think i will hold off and and keep comparing maybe a change coming for MY 2025 but yes a nice machine but also high dollar so your getting the nicer and more ergonomics design on their less expensive machine is almost a insult having to climb up on the tractor to fill the fuel tank maybe with wet boots holding a 50 lb. can of diesel fuel trying not to fall or slip and spill it on the hood or gages and worse than that trying to hang on in bad weather I think it is a safety hazard I hope some one from john Deere with some horse power in engineering design reads this I would be glad to share more suggestions I will keep watching thank you
An "Incremental Upgrade" would be some "decent-sized" Loader Lift Cylinders so it "Wouldn't be in the bottom of it's lifting class capabilities " compaired to ALL other brands of tractors for its Loaders Capacities. What about "Standard" lower-telescopic-link-ends on the 3point hitch ? This Tractor is Nice, big,& EXPENSIVE Enough to have these "common features"; or does the "Bull-dozer" loader-hand grip "cover it All" ? They shure are "Pretty Tractors". Thank you Sir for the Excelent vidio and happy safe tractor selling. Best wishes with all your endeavours.

It’s coming. Covid set them back a couple years with a redesign launch.
@@winkdinkerson7190 you bet.
While they’re on it start by taking minimum ten grand off these tractors. They’re way overpriced.
So what did I miss? All i saw was LED lights are new for 24.
Same. Everything else matches my 2016
Yeah, for a 2024 update video I was rather disappointed as I was expecting several things. Turns out it was only the LED lights.
New much higher price as well
I like to see a 3039 tractor with a set of R14 tires on it
Thanks for the request, @keithferguson4942!

Why play music while talking? Distracting and annoying!

I woyld buy a Kioti and save a lot of money, sorry JD you are over priced.
Kioti is 💯 junk
@@curtisullstrom4814 Kioti may be junk but deere is over priced and under featured, deere relays on there advertising not quality.
@@tman8939 I will pay the 5k more for something that will last twice as long

Could you do a video on a John Deere 3039r cab tractor
