This guy is a good guy and presenter. That being said this tractor plain is 26,000.00 and with a cab and front loader can list for as much as 59,000.00
This is insane how much these tractors are costing
Brett; it’s time JD introduce a newly redesigned 3R Series Tractor that include the following: LED lighting including front, fender mounted, and rear ROP mounts, fuel tank placement behind the ROP, MSL loader option, snail fender mounted accelerator, fully adjustable premium air seat with arm rests, inline four cylinder Yanmar diesel (four series) in three series models, reversible three point hitch Cat 1&2 balls, two rear SCVs (standard), and one rear electric receptacle. The R-Series are JDs premium tractor trim level, that has incrementally increased double digit the pass three years.
The tractor’s appointments are dated, and do not match the price point with standard R-Series value.
Please take this messaging back to JD, as they are completely resistant in hearing from the buying public directly.
I will pass it along. Thank you!
Really appreciate the video!!!
Thank you and I am glad you like dit!
I had one a couple of years ago. It was good accept, you had to keep it revved up to a certain rpm and couldn't just let it idle and advised by the dealer because it would clog up the combustion system. I thought it was no big deal but it turned into a nightmare . Family used it and let it idle at times and it clogged up . I ended up taking it on for that at least 5 times ,which cost me over $1000 each time. I got rid of it ,right after that.
Have her little brother, 3033r. I love this tractor. Loader capacity is awesome, wheel weights and filled rear tires is a must. I got 1 SCV, wish I would have got the 4th and 5th with the diverter. So nice, and complicated to add later.
Awesome! I hope you are enjoying it!
I love John Deere I am a fan of it
Same here!
You should do a review of the 3033r
Nice review. Where are you guys located
Thank you! We are in Oklahoma, Texas, and New Mexico!
I❤JD 😊
Well ... I'm no expert on tractors, but I do like my 3039R ! Many thanks for putting this video together!! I'm curious what model year your subject 3R is? I'm assuming the mid-mount PTO is still an option? And a question - what's the maximum implement code you'd recommend for the 3R? Thank you again!!
This was a 2022 model as specified in the title and yes the mid PTO is still available. My apologies, but I'm not sure what you mean by implement code, can you explain?
@@WesternEquipment In the 3R owners manual, there is a section on implement codes in the ballast section. JD gives recommended front weights for the various codes. I've been thru the calculations and the formula seems to work good. I'm sure you've seen this before as I'm probably using the wrong terminology, etc.
Brent - like you to formally engage JD Series Three R Compact Utility Tractor Product Manager with this question. Will JD be releasing in 2023 320R MSL Loader? If not, why not? Got em for the Three E Series trim level fixed mount loaders.
What am I missing?
I will pass this along. Thanks!
Where do you fill the DEF fluid?
My problem is when looking at prices and how much tractor you get. A 5060E with open station, 4wd, standard transsmission 9/3, and Loader prep package costs the same as a base line 3046R.
That being said, I cant use the 5 series on my 1 acre lot or my neighbors 1 acre lot all the time without risk of destroying septic lines, the yard, etc. However I can use that machine as a backup for out 150 plus acre hunting land.
In a Dilemma!!
I hear you on this one. Have you explored other sizes and trim levels?
hi Just an FYI the 3039r will lift just under 1600 lbs not 1200 lbs
I'm guessing you have tested this?
i give it a 9 out of 10.. i'll give it a 10 when they stop putting that engine emissions bs on it..
HAHA! I don't think this is going to happen.
@@WesternEquipment well if we all start fighting back maybe it'll happen...lol
i've never had to take off my loader
Seems in most applications this is the case but if there is ever a time this is a very nice option to have.
M ok
Yet, no self leveling loader for 3R. 1,2,4 series have Self leveling loader. Ridiculous the 3R doesn't have this option.
This is true but I have a feeling it is coming soon. It would only make sense for it to be an option soon.
How tall are you?
5'10" or 5'11" on a good day haha! 😂
I thought the 3039r had a lifting capacity of 2196lbs?
Yes, that is correct that is why I said almost 2200lbs and that 2200 was the max.
@@WesternEquipment
Ok no problem I must’ve missed that😂
The problem with JD is the limited standard options: self-leveling loader, arm rests, 3rd function, auto PTO, dual rear remotes, mirrors, hydraulic top link, lacking common skid steer quick attach and of course a realistic price.
I will make sure and pass this along.
The more I think about JD Sub Compact, Compact, and Utility Tractors Series 1 thru 5, I get thoroughly pissed off. Here’s why:
- JD entry level bare bones E Series tractors have significantly increased in price the past three model years - and now their price point doesn’t align to the E-Series Lack of functionality. Entry level tracts should now be M-Trim Level.
- JD Tractor product development and tractor evolution is not remotely consistent across all 1-5 Series models. Case n point - 2R Series and 4M HD Series are modernized platforms. 1R got updated in 2023, 3E, 3R, 5E and M are very dated.
So… too expensive, no consistent model feature product development, and no consistent accessories across all lines. Why is there only a hydraulic force down kit for 4R, but inconsistent for use with the 4M HD?
What say ye?
These are good questions. I will see what I can do about getting some answers.
