Nice to see you back making videos I commented on January that I was going to try Turo with my family Grand Caravan. I did it. Listed on the platform Feb 1 and had $527 revenue by Feb 28. Thinking of adding 1 or 2 shooter vehicles in March and see how it goes. Would love to see an update on your business. Love when you show the numbers! All the best
@@dannyalvarado3067 As long as you charge enough to pay for your clutch and tires regularly You can make a little money to help with payments/maintenance. But people won't treat your car the way you would. Are you okay with that?
Great to see you again! It’s funny I was just browsing your channel earlier to see if you had posted anything new lately and just got notified that you uploaded! I love your videos I am thinking of getting into Turo here in NC and the information you’ve shared is really helpful!
Don't. Tesla's get lots of rentals, but are too expensive (Payments, depreciation, maintenance insurance) to actually generate profit. Not a bad idea if you want a Tesla and try lower costs though
Payments...yes. Insurance...yes. Depreciation...nope. Maintenance...ha! My Tesla (with FSD) does not have any maintenance other than tires and windshield washer fluid and it has actually appreciated since I bought it. :o)
Hey James! I commented on one of your videos awhile back, I’m stationed in Hawaii and was looking to get into Turo. I got a cheap little car on Craigslist, but it has a minor issue with the back latch for the hatchback popping open when unlocking the car. Do you think that would stop me from renting it? It doesn’t affect vehicle safety or anything really, it’s just inconvenient. I’m worried about getting bad reviews because of it
Hey Luke! Thanks for watching and subscribing. We appreciate it! I think it shouldn't stop you, but your fear of negative reviews is valid. I'd look into fixing it soon, but don't wait to get it listed. Hawaii is a huge market and at the right price, you'll be crushing it! Hey Emerson, I rent an S2000 out on Turo (Manual obvi) I'd say give it a go. People have generally treated my car very well as it's normally other car enthusiasts renting it, and there's sort of a respect from car guy to car guy. I know in the bay area there are lots of stick shift cars too. It'll produce money if it's your personal car, it really depends on if you're comfortable only making maybe $400-$500 per month putting on the extra miles and wear and tear. Your call!
@@benc.3215 Yea its paid off. And it's my 2nd car, I have a commuter for my full time job. But I get scared they're going to destroy it or the clutch. But like you said I'm going to try it out
What's up Facebook friend. Decided to type in Turo on youtube and found a lot of ya'll that are my Facebook friends. Lol
