this video for responding to those nice negative comments :) I hope you will get my point. I'm trying to help people out to make a decision to see what exactly the are getting for 80$ product.

In short, I absolutely agree. This price point is ludicrous. The texture is crap. I fly in VR and looking at some of the textures up close is so low res. Folks who support this release are obviously ones who waited around for this and don’t want to regret time and money wasted. The cockpit is so horrible and dirty. This is simply not an $80 product.
Same. I saved up and paid early, and they said it took so long because the plane would be right when they released it, and its not. Some are pretending that there arent issues, but there are. Flight model issues, texture issues, system issues. Ive posted on their discord. They dont like ANY comment they view as negative. I wasnt rude, disrespectful, or any of that nonsense. But the attitude comments I got back was disappointing. Not a fan of TFDi. I will NEVER buy another unfinished and unreleased plane again
Thanks for releasing this video addressing the comments. I felt like you had a lot of valid points in your previous video. At the end of the day, you spent 80 bucks so you should be able to have your own opinion on the product whether it be negative or positive.
It’s valid criticism at the price I do believe. I like the airplane a lot but everyone is entitled to their own
Its WAY overpriced for $80. Some are saying that there arent issue with it, but there are. I posted on their discord and some started saying there were no issues, bit only a couple defended and said the issues I am having were well known and did exist. There are way better planes for less.
@@jay-rus4437 thanks for your opinion and I agree is not worth $80. And I don’t like the Flight dynamics at all. It feels really light plus not such a detailed aircraft like from the interior and exterior..EFB SO BASIC, plus you get only one aircraft livery on the initial download and all that for $80. Lol
From the moment they announced the “collectors edition”, I knew these guys were in money driven. I’m finding it hard to support this team given the responses I see from their staff on discord. Thanks for the video.
When I first watched your video, I agreed with your complaints about the look of the exterior model, the wings and the engines in particular. I couldn't believe how ugly some areas were, especially after paying $70. But now, after downloading some good quality 3rd party liveries, the aircraft looks so much better. There is still room for improvement on TFDi's behalf, but the main issue simply was the poor quality of the liveries. I'm very happy with the aircraft now.
I have problem with the auto pliot it keep disconnting.

I found a solution turning off hardwere overforce in efb did the trick.
Have you flown the plane? You are complaining about the looks, which are dependent on the liveries you use. I did have some issues with the developer; not including the manual on the installation and once you found the manual is not very comprehensive. However, once I learned how to fly it, it is a beauty. I had to adjust my yoke's sensitivity, but otherwise if manually flies well. My sense is that you are too focused on the negatives to learn about the aircraft and its systems. Spend more time doing that rather than bitching about it.
And as I mentioned aircraft flies great from A to B my complaining about the air texture that’s not fair for $80. Please understand the video and I’m talking about my opinion as I mentioned in the video aircraft not meeting the standards for $80 I said aircraft systems are great the exterior not great for $80. @@pilot_franklin265 Yeah, not watching your videos again. textures have to do with the liveries you use. Cabin textures are adequate and comparable to other aircrafts. You had made two videos complaining about the texture? Gosh, go ahead and lean to fly it well and enjoy it.

I get these problems in the PMDG777. I love the TDFI MD11

Do you run Frame Gen? As far as I know blade glitching is a problem on their side

I have watched both your videos. I don’t see any shimmering. I think it looks realistic on the outside and the inside is as good as any in the sim. Yeah, it is not perfect but is perfectly flyable, as long as they deliver updates then personally I won’t complain about their price. I fly it on autopilot 99%of the time, as irl. I have a different view to you, but I’m ok with your vids. No sim planes are as good as the real things, they are ALL a compromise to some degree, but cold details aside, for me the MD11 has ‘something’ about it which I am addicted to. (Retired 767, 757, 737 Capt)

I bought it, as I can't stay away from MD stuff (flying Leonardo MD since years). I don't have the flickering, and I'm notna real pilot to identify every unreael behaviour. But you are right for the 70€ it should deliver more. Nowadays such a aircraft in sim should have a good to perfect Model and texture in and out, wear and tear, moving parts in cockpit. What PMDG lacks a bit with their clean cockpit, Fenix nailed it to show a cockpit which is used but not a mess. We should not forget how long we waited for EFB in PMDG. Leonardo had been critisized for the price, but they delivered a whole wonderful package.
For me the MD11 could cost 40€ for what we have now. I can only hope they are fundet now to work on it, there are more then 350 bugs in github. And we have to face what our famous YT flightsim channels never lost a word on that discrepancy on price and waht is deivered.
True and as you see Fenix showed the whole work what details you can put on this sim. but as you see TFDi chose the easy way and convert it from P3D. and for 80$
@@pilot_franklin265 they did not convert it and just to set it clear its impossible to convert because the SDK is completely different and wouldnt work

I'm coming back after some flights. I own e.g. PMDG777, which is imho spectacular besides the EFB which lacks some things, but last days I flew only the MD11. I'm still with you 80Dollar ( I spent 69€ for the Cargo, I only want to fly that version) is a high price for an addon. But from systems functions and flying it makes a lot of fun. I'm in flightsim since 20 years, i don't need follow flight director up to 30degrees pitch. Prof will take me to a calculated climb. It does RNAV proper, it's not easy to reduce your speed, you have to think ahead. I was always very impressed by the Lufthansa Cargo MD11 whenever I visited the airport, see such a thing take off, it's unforgetable. They recently hat two patches, so they are on it. I understand your opinion, but so many minutes Rantum, this is a niche product, I would wonder if it could meet 10% sales of the PMG777. Most simmers want to drive Airbus or Boeing. That maybe is a part of pricing.
I asked PayPal for a refund and got it . Going forward I will check reviews before I purchase .

I think I was too polite in my comment on your other video. I ended up finding out that you purposely used an old version and a third-party livery to complain about texture and modeling errors, where many had already been fixed in the updated version and some of the bugs and low quality work you showed were from the livery and not from the aircraft.
Based on this and your new video, I came to the conclusion that you are essentially rage baiting for views, instead of just being a dissatisfied consumer warning others. And it gets worse when one of the devs confirms they haven't received any refund requests from someone named Franklin, assuming that's your real name and you used that name to purchase it. Such dissatisfaction and so far, you haven't even asked for a refund?
So, if you are legitimately just a dissatisfied consumer, my advice: Ask for a refund, and when they give it, move on with your life. Your first video, half of it is just nitpicking and this one is even worse, getting to the point where even your subscribers are complaining. It's not healthy to feel angry about spending $80 on something you didn't like. Ask for a refund and be happy spending that $80 on other things.
The modeling and texture not being of high quality compared to PMDG or Fenix and needing improvements is already a fact acknowledged even by the devs. However, 5 missing rivets may be a deal breaker for you, but others don't care and that's life. I'm satisfied with the TFDi MD-11 even though I know it needs some improvements.

Im doing this only to show people the aircraft and what are they getting out of the box without any 3rd party add ons. And about the name of the channel I had it since 2015 With this name and I can name the channel with any name I want and that’s the first of all second send me your email address so I can send you a copy of the email that I send to the customer support show you that they said no for a refund l. I fly in real life and doing this for fun that’s it. But thanks for your opinion and for watching :)

I am agree with you, bc I am the same. Why people care how their cars are looks like? Exactly. Like the Apple products Looking good, works great etc. Or stop using the GSX right, because you don’t care how it looks like. I just wanna say right now look I had a good compelling defence and points I made, but one of the big points I was using no longer exist. So yeah apparently PMDG Said that you know longer can purchase P3D Products, so it doesn’t interfere with their 777 release Excessively claims it’s due to it would interfere with their sales bullshit and excuses
Why apparently someone else is there shut it down for now and possibly will not put it back on
So there goes half my damn counterpoints so yeah disappointed I spent 20 minutes coming up with some good points using PMDG past And now it’s completely useless in my opinion so yeah I’m scared for all these out on developers what’s gonna happen when Microsoft pulls the plug

I am no fan of TFDI let alone some of the collection edition owners... But even I'm calling BS on this. You're using textures that have been known since even before release weren't correct because the model was updated. They have been very transparent on things they were going to fix, yet another lie from you saying that they don't care. Your level of misrepresentation is pretty astonishing and impressive at the same time.
The only entertaining part of this whole video is wondering how hard you've been ratio'd on the dislikes. If you're going to review something, at least try to be honest.
You actually tell us that our opinions are just our opinions, get your throwing your falsely based opinion out trying to sway people. I will eat crow and admit got a lot of my assumptions of what the airplane would be were completely wrong.

@@razorseal I saw it and nobody will trust them no more. Did the great job for interior and exterior and the missed the most important thing by not simulating the systems right plus no VNAV but in the end, they released it as an early access project and the price $30. They were straight about it. They didn’t say it’s a complete project like. TFDi said 100% ready for release.
