In this live Idalia Update: The storm is expected to become a hurricane later Monday and rapidly intensify.
The entire Gulf Coast of Florida needs to be preparing for the storm. The highest impacts from major hurricane Idalia will be felt across the Big Bend of Florida.
In Central Florida, Outer bands will have the potential to produce tornadoes and damaging wind gusts.
