- A small compilation of character specific and situational combos in Tekken 8 I thought of doing this after seeing few people comment about this on Kazuya video

After heat dash Lee can do a micro dash HMS 1+2 to wall carry even worse than Lars lol
If you're at the perfect distance you can get a HMS u4 wall combo
And the reason why some of these move can pick them up is because they're a very fast string first hit doesn't matter what matter is the second hit range and speed. They must be around i14 or less to hit fast enough for a pickup and must have enough range too on top of that must either be a mid/low or a high with low hitbox, Lee doesn't have enough range so he need to dash same with Lars db21 they're fast enough but not enough range
A special case would be Bryan taunt any move that come after the taunt is so fast that he can actually taunt Rage Art after heat dash
It's really easy to find these kind of move too just test any string at the wall and see if they connect after the first hit land at 50% and then later test it after a heat dash. Some move that i know would be Yoshi Sword spin and maybe DVJ uf3+4 it should be fast and far enough to hit (haven't test uf3+4 yet)
@@eckysgaming I tried bryan's taunt after hit dash, the character doesn't float after connecting the taunt
I might be doing something wrong, have to check with the bryan experts

I'm not a Bryan main so i wouldn't know, the only thing i know is you can taunt df21 at the wall for a wall combo, if you still have tornado you can taunt d3+4 1+2 to use it at the wall
And in the open taunt rage art work but is pretty much a just frame, for any float wall carry you might have to ask em Bryan expert
It's nothing noteworthy but with lars near a wall after you used a screw and a heatsmash (bound) then heat dash with 3+4 you can put the enemy back on the wall with db2,1 and then get the shoulder.. but I thought alot of ppls knew bout this cuz Tendo did it
I know some people csn combo after a heat dash (like ling with hypnotism 2 ) .. but some can't like jin with his 1+2 (or I haven't seen it yet)

Another one of those wall slump pick-up situations exists with Reina. After (3+4,4), (3,4), (D3+4,4), (D3+4) etc. Basically after any of her non-launching Manji kicks she can pickup with Hop Kick.

Seriously, he's missing a lot of CH launchers from the last game. It feels like I'm getting juggled by every other string extension against other characters.

@@yaboibSLTMost of them are locked behind strings or strances. He also lost WS2,(1), SENdf1, 2,1,(3), and LEN1 (was uf3+4,1). So he lost a lot of CH Launchers, and unrelated but he also lost SEN4 Launching as backlash moves are just knockdown/wallsplat moves now, as opposed to Launchers. He still has FCdf2, ff1+2, DEN2, F1,2,(3), db4, and SEN2 as CH Launchers. B4 can also be a situational CH Launcher when it trades.
Lars mains will forever downplay Lars… nothing new.
@@since2133 Everyone is biased to their main. Most people downplay their character. In the case of Lars however... he's actually still trash. If you do well with him, then that's commendable because the character in higher ranks and in tournament play is hard to do well with.

Love stuff like this since it rewards players who put in the work to learn them. I remember seeing that Alisa ws1+2 into rage art in some tournament and people in chat lost their minds.
To all Lili players, ssl 1+2 to heat burst works on all characters. She can get normal combo with 3, 2 after ssl1+1 on hit as well only on Dragunovs and Victor.
Nina ch 4,4 dash d+4 1 works on half the cast.
Nina gets a full combo with qcf2 heat dash with b+3 4, (4)4 3+4, and ss1+2 dash
lili ss1+2 into heat burst isn't real btw. I wish people would stop telling people that lol

Some Bryan stuff:
1+2,2 into heat burst gives a full combo
Taunt after a grounded heat dash lets you connect rage art, and near the wall, you can use taunt, d3+4,2 to get a wall combo
1+2,2 can be beat by side ukemi(quickroll) right
ff3 is also a full combo (need to be fast to catch them while rolling though)
everyone knows the 1+2,2 into heat isn't real
After heat dash Lars' B1+2 also works
That Feng one at the end is deadly knowledge right there

Jun's f1+4 (sabaki) is also a launcher on normal hit when it hasn't parried anything
Uf2 tornado right after f1+4

Victor has a 102 damage ff2 counter hit combo on beach stage from the starting position. He also has a crazy reset combo that can infinite loop if opponent doesnt tech roll
Lee can do a wall combo after CH DB3+4
Near wall CH DB3+4>UB3>DF1>F3,4>D3

Leo db1+2,1 near wall also allows heat burst pickup. However the situation is quite specific, since it has to be a certain distance.
If Shaheen does his heat smash and whiffs first hit but gets the second hit, he can with slightly strict timing get a snk2 for a full backturned combo

Shaheen gets a guaranteed snk2 after UF1 on a normal hit (no heat dash or engager). It leaves you at +25 so it Might be possible to get a B4 as well if you dash in fast enough. Manual sneak 2 is more consistent imo.
Kazuya can also connect df+3 and df+1,2 after CH ws+1+2 on side wall in early
Tekken 7 season 4 before the wall stun change in patch 5.0.
It just became a little more consistent in Tekken 8.
I remember Law's Heat Smash put the opponent at a back turned animation when the opponent does a middle wake up kick while lying down back turned. It doesn't apply with most characters' Heat Smash.
Bryan can also bypass that restriction with the taunt , he can also RA into it as well
DVJ's u2 can be picked up by a dash 1+4, a little frame tight on the dash. Although on the left off axis, no dash is needed, but on the right off axis, i think a followup is only possible. Hellsweep used to pickup at front and left there but they nerfed the range so.
For xiaoyu players, f+2,1,2 in heat near the wall will guarantee a f+3,1,4 pick up for a full wall combo. Really damaging considering f+2,1,2 spikes and gives free damage.

With Jun, you can do Gen 4 into DF4 and it's a combo (even though visually it doesn't look like it can connect) but works on certain characters.
Jun near the wall:
Uf+3+4, crouch cancel b+2 1 2T!, ff+2 2
Victor can also combo from his Heat Smash at a breakable wall because it causes a wall break

Nina can also pick up an opponent after the grounded heat dash by SS+1,2 and i think by b+1+2 (if there is a breakable wall)

I don't know if you found this bug already or not but king has this weird glitch his sidestep 2+4 move if you time it correctly you can punish some rage arts or avoid them but it's kind of inconsistent at times it does work on both the left and right side. I've tested it on a few characters and it mostly worked haven't tried all of them tho
Zafina gets a guaranteed wall combo (df1,2,1) after scarecrow heatsmash.
Normally you only get a B3 follow up.

with dragunov u can do a d4,4 and it will combo 100% of the time and break walls
Zafina after df4,1 heat dash she can get df1,2,1 instead of just b3, you just need to do a dash then df1,2,1 or just delay df1,2,1.
also df3,4 if there is wall on the right side of Zafina she can get more options and combos instead of just db4,2 or other low for example you can pick them up with df1,db3, db3b and df4,2 for combos or other guaranteed options.

Lee B2,4,3 can be picked up by d2 or b3,3 but it is insanely inconsistent would've hoped that b2 had more range so that after punch parry it would result in a clean hit string thereafter.
Zafina's b2 can guarantee heat smash
Don't know if counts but steve can pickup dck 1 with sonic fang which is full launch in heat like t7 but i never checked with tech roll, as well as having a lot of wall proximity stuff in general
when hitting reinas 3+4,4 you can do a hop kick for a tornado.
Bryan; df 4 near the wall, you can pick up with d 3+4,2
Lee:
DB4 CH near wall -> UB3 = full wall combo
Also after FF3F in the end of the combo I somehow did DF3,2, an it wall splatted somehow
For those who play raven that was already a given combo for most player guides lol

Leroy's point blank, right axis CH db4 combos into ws3,1+2,4. Still the worst low in the game after generic d3
Claudio point blank CH 4,3 into df1 works on some characters. Never labed but somehow landed it against Azu on default Sanctum stage.
Yoshimitsu point blank CH KIN d1 comboes into heat burst -> f2,1 against some characters.

The only situation combo that i know is Lars sidestep 2 and ub4 into ff3+4 wall must be on the left for Lars to be able pickup into a heat burst

Strange that with that first knockdown type Rage Arts _sometimes_ work
Kazuya knock down, They nerfed it in T7 final update and made it a wall crush
But it got added back in Tekken 8
