The question that drives me to this day. How does this lead into NGS.
Further more one has to consider that this was the ending of a story years into the making.
In NGS we are still on Planet 1.

It's a way different story, that I wish NGS is another PSO installment rather than PSO2. NGS is 1000 years after the finale. World is, as far as I know, unrelated to the 6 episodes.
We're still on the 3rd region on Halpha as for July 2022, and don't know if another planet will be there to explore.

I still don't understand what "mistakes of the photoners" is being repeated by imbuing Matoi & the Guardian with Ashen Wind & Dracolite. Why did Shiva react that way? It was more than just an "oh no I'm fucked" moment, she was visibly scared and concerned about it's use...

I believe I'm starting to hate anime. This story is such a good-old-PSO and sucks so much at the same time! 😡
