I have a theory that our character in Genesis WILL be the Guardian....Because why else would they frame it as you playing someone who was locked in a pod in space, having crashed down and exited said pod without any memory...while also letting us use our character from base PSO2.
well we dont know who tf is the character in genesis he just fell from space since the game heavily encourages you using the same character from base pso2 that could mean new genesis character is the same person without their memories also matoi fell from space out of nowhere so it could be similar

After play NGS and back see this ending, this story became kinda axed (i did hear they plan to reach 10 episodes but with new Engine release probably oblivious that's not gonna happen, and after see last news about new director i searching news and see what people said about EP5 and Hero Class, then Fighter Supermacy. After see this video and see how broken Hero Class probably i get it. People feel so much trouble with gigantmax drama recently.
