I bought a 1990 sea nymph tx150 gutted, on a galv trailer with no motor for 400.00. Rebuilt it all, trailer, boat interior, electrical and a 2024 suz 25. All under 6k. Proud as hell of my boat but I would love to have a new 1860 with a 90.
Thanks so much for taking the time to do this run through Ty. It gave me some real world info for running this particular boat in our neck of the woods. Got my eye on one with the 60.
Covered all the bases, without breaking the bank. Fishing skinny water, you didn't need a mortgage for upscale electronics. That dog will hunt.
I loved fishing on that boat. I think I am going to get one when I get down there full time. Fishing with Ty is a fun experience.

Ty, keep a desulfator on that battery and it will last 2 to 3 times longer. It keeps them lead plates clean
I agree.. I put a new 2022 Suzuki 30 hp (165 lbs.) on my rebuilt 1972 16" deep V Starcraft. She's quick.👍

Trailer is steel with a tough coating, not galvanized.

What length of trolling motor shaft
Thinking about adding a jack plate on my new 1860cc grizzly to be able to run shallow. Haven’t talked to tracker yet. Wondering if adding a jack plate would void any warranty

Where is your fire extinguisher? Or even flare gun 🔫 I have both under my center I still wanna shoot the flare just for fun

Do you feel the 12 V 55 pound thrust trolling motor is pulling the boat fine? And how is the trailer holding up from the salt water?

How are you charging your batteries? My bay boat had a pig tail. Does this have a way to charge it from the factory or what is your way to charge them?
I just use a Walmart $20 trickle battery charger. open the front hatch and clamp her on !
What kind of console is that? I have a 1860 grizzly that I’m thing about putting a console on but not sure what size I need to get
that is the standard console they put in the grizz 1860. I just took the windshield and bar off.
I’m looking to buy a boat like this that has been in salt. Are there any tips for things I should look for when I go look at it?
the trailer condition due to salt. don't know much about motors but id have someone look at the motor depending on how old it is.
