    The single biggest increase in testosterone that has been measured during a study has actually been 700% and was measured in chessplayers right before a tournament/competition. The study basically concluded, that competition spikes testosterone, which in my opinion is the most relevant way to increase ones testosterone and I am surprised it's not mentioned in the video. Having a competitive and goal-oriented mindset is the most important thing and without it you won't get far in any realm of life, no matter your testosterone levels. I call it the self-improvement trap: You can do all the good habits (meditating, journaling etc.) and quit all the bad ones (social media, porn, etc.), yet if you don't have any goals, you still won't progress in life. If you have goals however, you will find yourself quitting most bad habits automatically, simply due to lack of time and interest.
    tl;dr: have goals

    • @LiebeLeuchten
      @LiebeLeuchten Рік тому +9

      So, basically have goals, play sports, hold friendly competitions.

      you can't just believe 1 study. also you didn't state the duration of the increase. a 10 minute increase will hurt you more than help you.

    • @ferryhmm
      @ferryhmm Рік тому +7

      @@ram5ramen582 Well, it's just one study having shown an increase in testosterone of 700%, however there are countless other studies having shown that competition (no matter the context) increases testosterone drastically. This goes from testosterone being increased from talking to girls (intersexual competition), increasing status (people higher in hierarchies have higher testosterone levels) to engaging in direct competition like athletics or chess. However losing has shown to drastically decrease testosterone as well, so make sure you're winning lol
      Regarding the duration of the increase, for increase in status the increase in testosterone is lasting as long as being that status. For the other things the testosterone increase is more short-lived, however that doesn't mean that it's of no use. Sure, we can't engage in direct competition or talk to girls 24/7, however I believe that just the more competitive mindset in general will yield result. And if you're trying to be the best (even if you're just competing with yourself) at everything you do, then that essentially is like engaging in competition 24/7 and thus the testosterone increase is more relevant. This is why I outlined in my original comment that it's a mindset thing. You essentially have to change your entire lifestyle to be more competitive and goal oriented and I am convinced you will see a significant increase in testosterone.

    The 3 ways to get Adonis levels of T:
    1. Stress less.
    - Higher cortisol (stress hormone) = lower testosterone.
    - Lower cortisol by breathing correctly --> nasal breathing
    - Breathing exercise --> Use Hamza's video for breathing, morning and evening.
    2. Sunlight.
    - Lack of sunlight kills testosterone.
    - 30min 3x per week already helps.
    - Be outside in the middle of the day.
    - If it's not dark, there is sunlight.
    3. Semen retention.
    - 400% increase your testosterone.
    - Not only NoFap.

    Hey Hamza, I agree with most of your points (expertly explained), but I have to dispute the sun cream one. As a medical student, I have to say that UV-B overexposure from the sun directly causes skin cancer. Sun cream doesn’t prevent the testosterone production, but it does help prevent skin cancer. Thousands of years ago when all of humanity was dark skinned, we were able to withstand much higher levels of sunlight. Other than that your stuff is amazing bro, you’ve helped me out a ton and I hope you can continue reaching as many young men as possible ❤

    The reason that skin cancer has increased over the last couple of decades is because people have actually been spending more time indoors throughout the year only to all of a sudden go on holiday to a tropical destination and completely blast their skin with very high UV levels. This way your skin is not used to this kind of sunlight and you get sunburned. As opposed to primal people who were outside all year and their skin slowly adapted to increasing sunlight in the summertime.
    That is why spending more time outdoors might actually be better for your skins health than staying in your dark room for most of the year.

    Something else I have personally noticed in my life that MASSIVELY increases T levels more than anything else - dominating. No, I don't mean it in a sexual way. Having a dominating workout, or competitive sports session really does wonders(mindset plays a large role too in magnifying this effect). I've noticed I would get sexual urges(which are very closely linked to T) shortly after those(and similar) things. Same for very late at night when the body apparently boosts T production(which some say is the reason for morning wood as it fluctuates throughout the night). That reminds me - for anyone reading this who wants to retain semen and/or stop masturbating - make an 'ejaculation diary', noting down which times your urges occur. For me it was around ~1:00 to ~3:00+ at night. Then, avoid those moments by SLEEPING as you generally should, or make sure you are in the same room as others where you wouldn't ejaculate for any reason.

    If you stop before ejaculating, how does your body know if you were with a partner or using your hand? So can't masturbation and stopping before ejaculation, also achieve the 4x increase, just like sex?

    2:50 People who live in colder climates are more likely to breathe trough their mouths. It is literally impossible to breath from your nose when you are for example on a run outside in winter. The cold air blocks the nose so you have to breather through your nose. This might be also connected to evolution that people who have lived in colder climates have noses that work a bit differently compared to the people who live in warmer climates.

    what I don’t understand about the cortisol fact is that don’t we all need to go through a stressed life to do greater things?? meaning our testosterone will go down if we are stressed? whether it’s going through tough times in business or family loss or whatever it is, does this mean we are all decreasing our testosterone by going through stress?

    • @adriantaner7950
      @adriantaner7950 Рік тому +1

      Well high base levels of cortisol are chronic stressors a cortisol filled life is low exert stress meaning homework and assignments it strains your brain. Testosterone is built through shock trauma stresses, cold showers for example your body goes into survival mode same with lifting heavy weights or fighting your body’s activating every energy receptor it has. Testosterone is built through adrenaline and norepinephrine, all chemicals that are used when exerting extreme forces on your body.
      So there are differences

    Interesting tips, especially interested in the retention. For how long does the test increase stay? For example, if you don't jack off for a week, at that 7th day you experience a test spike, but after that it goes back to normal. So it would be interesting to know this, because to me the semen retention during sex looks like a one big edge session, although I kinda understand and agree on the primal brain thinking that some danger or whatever is near and in this way it prepares you for it with a test increase. Just asking because it seems a bit over the top. Anyways, thanks for the vid :)

    Self improvement is good, but disinformation is not the way to go. "Semen retention" benefit was false or at least misleading. I could find that not fapping causes a temporary increasy up to 150% on the 7th day, but it's not permanent. There's studies that suggest there could be some sort of permanent increase in testosterone resulting no fap/semen retention but it's absolutely not 400%, and it's not information that everyone agrees. There's been studies with different results, so calling this a "proven way" is somewhat misleading (the 400% is most likely just disinformation to get people excited, hopefully just misinformation tho).

    Great Video but about the sunscrean stuff. Yes vitamin D is really important, but if you dont hsve the skintype to be in the sun for too long, you should be careful with sunburns. They increase the risk for aggressive skincancer significantly. Yes our ancestors didnt wear sunscreen, but that analogy doesnt add up when you consider their age. If you die from a cold anyways at the age of 30 you have other problems than skincancer. So going outside good and nice but overdoing it will do a lot more harm than good.

    - Semen retention also applies when having sex.
    - Have sex --> stop before ejaculation.

The book "The Multi Orgasmic Man." goes into it as well as a few other books. But you can learn to separate orgasm from ejaculation as a man. That way you can still have sex as much as you want while still retaining semen.

    Part off the reason your testosterone increases after sex without nutting is probably because of what you said, but i also believe that it is because your body releases a lot of a hormone called Prolactine when ejaculating, not after arousal/being horny but when you ejaculate. on google it says “levels of prolactin and testosterone tend to have a negative correlation, where a higher prolactin level correlates to a lower testosterone level”. Testosterone increases naturally when having sex and when you dont ejaculate, you dont release Prolactione and therefor your testosterone stays high
