- Today we're doing Mexican on the griddle, and we're making beef steak ranchero with a homemade ranchero sauce and homemade refried beans - my mother-in-law's favorite!
This easy and delicious steak ranchero recipe is just like she gets at a Mexican restaurant, served with charred onions and warm flour tortillas... and it was fantastic! So good that we're making this Mexican steak recipe again for Mother's Day for the whole family!

We make the beans and store in freezer in quart bags for occasions like this. Those beans are fire in our house. Then can up the sauce in the summer so come winter we can make eggs with it. Looks amazing. Can’t wait to make on our grill and tag you.

Made those re-fried beans, that is a really good recipe for them. Had some leftovers, I wanted a bean and cheese burrito, didn't have tortillas too lazy to make some. I had leftover pizza dough, used the beans as the "sauce" added cheese, baked it off, added some hot sauce. It was better than it had any right to be.
