Anything bought in bulk is made cheaper per unit so no matter if its 50 pouunds of steak bought at a dollar per steak or bought at 500 per steak either way the fact that you're buying so much at once makes it cheaper for you per steak.
Guga buys wagyu for the channel if u go back and watch his humble beginnings they started out with normal stuff then as the channel grew guga was able to put the money from the channel back into it. Aka increasing the quality of his meats and variety of cooks.

Every week my grandmother would cook a roast that was heavily crusted in Montreal steak spice, seared in a pan with oil, and finished in the oven. I would definitely recommend this if you like roast beef, at least one time. The crust is amazing.

Always love your videos. The one thing that always stands out is that you add any form of garlic to ALL steaks. Over here I've never heard of any garlic on steak. Ofcourse salt, pepper, and maybe some other mix, but never garlic
Guga, I’m an SPG guy myself with one addition: Tony Chachere’s. And yes you can use it in addition to regular salt, as long as you don’t dry brine first. Just don’t go too heavy on it, and it will give your steak a little kick. Give it a try! You’ll like it!
Ok Guga & the crew. I am usually a basic salt, pepper, and butter baste steak guy. This experiment, Im doing it! Can't get the whole strip loin, but i got the butcher to slice a three steak portion for me. I'm gonna do the middle east, latin, & Guga. This experiment was inspirational!

Very nice - my favorite rub is kind of a southwestern blend - salt, black pepper, cayenne, ancho chili powder, garlic powder, cumin, smoked paprika, cinnamon and ground sage - then I baste it/ top it with home made roasted garlic butter and roasted garlic cloves.
Defenitly needed this video in my life! I'm the kinda guy that when I cook steaks, I season each one (usually 3 different steaks) a different way. Which I cook for only myself, but I love to have the knowledge for when I'm cooking for friends and family!
I love middle eastern one too and it was something I was introduced to by a vegan. It will always hold a special place in my heart because I learned the blend from someone who went vegan. He told me to try this out if I love steak, because I gave him a great salad recipe that he absolutely loved. Which focused on making croutons with spices on olive oil fried bread. Fresh even for processed dough is the way to go. I took the two and made Philly Steak. Give that one a go guys. make sure the steak is sliced just as you did for this video. You won't regret it.
Did Sous vide pichana the other week. Four steaks. Two were with only Maldon Sea Salt. Two with Lawreys Seasoned Salt. Finished over a blazing Kiawe wood splits and charcoal fire. The WHOLE family liked the Lawrys Seasoning the best. 😊 I was surprised. Since everyone says only to use Salt on picanha.

@JD Rome Steak on its own isn't going to put any weight on someone (esp when its a regular steak not as high quality as these). 85% protein 15% fat average? What will put weight on is the meal alongside the steak. That's not however to say it would be healthy to eat steak highly regularly.
sitting on ass puts on weight, just do more, cardio aerobics w/e, don't blame the delicious, nutritious and yet filling steak. a lot of other food can be cut out of your diet, but steak is pretty healthy on its own.
middle eastern cuisine mostly borrowed from the Indian sub-continent. Most of the ingredients don't even grow there, they get it from Indian sub-continent.

When I worked at outback I learned our prime rib rub had coffee in it and I started putting small amounts of it in most of rubs I cook with.
robert anglin it gives a “burnt” flavour which makes you think it’s a good steak but it’s just cheap coffee bean
I made and used the Middle Eastern rub and we all loved it, adore it.

Lavender Flower you don’t really see middle eastern flavors on steak considering that’s not their main source of meat, it’s difficult for me to imagine what those flavors would taste on something like steak. Gotta try it.
I’m Persian and my family uses a very similar rub on our steaks. Try it!

@mattroski007 I know right? Since discovering Guga's channels I have made some of the best tasting steaks I've ever eaten. I think back to all the times I ate out and paid way too much for a mediocre steak. And I am by no means a great chef.
