    Great video. What if you have a Trigger... Like someone say something "let's go shopping" and your body reacts instantly... but there is no clear thought like "if..."? Just working with the body-symptoms?

      Thank you. If that was the case I would not suggest this exercise. I would suggest a more body based approach. Best wishes, Teresa.

    hello , how do i change my core beliefs of taking offense or taking most things personally. then that makes me not want to do anything for the fear of someone disrespecting me. any recommendations. thanks

    • @LewisPsychology
      @LewisPsychology  2 роки тому

      It can be challenging changing core beliefs as they are our deepest layer of thoughts. I would suggest that you work with a psychological therapist. Wishing you well.

      @@LewisPsychologythank you! Is there any information I can get on limiting beliefs vs negative automatic thoughts? Trying to figure out the difference.

    • @the.marriage.coach.youtube

      @@Chrissyjaniga Limiting beliefs are DEEPLY ingrained thought patterns, which we ALWAYS find evidence for. Automatic, negative thoughts are thoughts we can easily recognise and challenge and question. We have about 60K thoughts a day and 80% are negative... so most of these are automatic thoughts. CORE BELIEFS we only have a few, that create these thoughts..like "I am not good enough"; "I am not lovable" "Relationships are hard" "Life is dangerous" "Men have it easier" and so on. I assume we only have a few hundred core beliefs about all different aspects in life.
