My whirlpool refrigerator set the cooling @3 (norma) but runs every 45 min for more than 1 hour, its coils are on the back side and are clean as well as the compressor is clean too. I put a thermometer in the freezer, the time took to reach -14c to 16c took 45 min. May you help me what could be the problem. Thank you in advance for your help🙏
Thanks! I always cleaned the front but never the back. There was a lot of dust in the back. But it still cycles on for 8 minutes and off for 16 minutes. It's a Kenmore. Anyone know if that's normal?
I cleaned once for a retired appliance repair man . He told me cleaning the coils didn’t make any difference he’s full of crap ! I cleaned the Refrigerators underneath all the time inside and out !
Thanks for a well done video but you were not able to reach and clean the 3 center folds of the condenser which are nearly impossible due to very poor access design. Not easy but here is how I have cleaned condenser on my Kenmore side by side with same poor design: Using 15 psi from my portable compressor brought into kitchen and shop vac running in back of fridge, blow from front with long air nozzle to blow dust from entire condenser to rear where nozzle of running shop vac sucks it up before it gets in the air. I do this about every 18 months and this has allowed fridge to last 18 years so far. Other than ice maker problem, NO repairs have been necessary in those 18 years.
Simple, to the point, fast. Very helpful. Well done.
Glad it helped!
My frige is 25 yrs old, I hope this works. Thanks for sharing.
I hope so too!

I do not have a cardboard cover on the back of my Whirlpool refrigerator. I did vacuum the front coils that had TONS of dust.

Update
hi! may i ask if the fan or blower in the freezer side is always running 24/7 and not shutting off? is this normal?
Aq
Mine is BRAND NEW has has been running nonstop for nearly 24 hours, has not shut off once.
@panicman10 i think that is not normal for me... try to adjust thermostat setting if it will prolong the on/off sequence.
Mine is brand new and also running non stop. It sounds like it’s the fan. I just don’t think this is normal. I’m about to exchange it for another one
I found a video and it said this is normal on new refrigerators as they use low power compressor .
Mine does run seems like all the time

Got a Amana fridge thats about 30 years old and its still running!
Nice!
@addismultitasking3504 . It goes off for about 20 minutes then starts running again.
my fridge cycles ALL DAY. its driving me mad. i already cleaned the condensor coils what else can i do?
There are other reasons why a fridge running non-stop. Dirty condenser coil is just one of them !
♥️♥️👍🏻
No sound. Answer to this video, get out your shop vac and vacuum the compressor coils in front and back located at floor level.
and if that doesn't fix the problem ,,dude come on ,
