I've been caseless for the 5 months I've had my 15 Pro Max. I did but a screen protector on though, because my jean pockets were scratching the screen. Other than that, no damage, at least that I can see.
I’ve been caseless since I bought the 15 pro max in October. No screen protector and no scratches so far. I’ve always had my phones in a case and screen protector but no more
Been using my ipad m2 pro 1tb caseless for 2months and yeah small scratches happen but it doesn't really affect your life but yes one advice is that whatever device you have, always use a screen protector regardless of the build quality
I always use the iPhone without a case, but I would encourage you to use a screen protector, oh, and have insurance 😁 Good luck and enjoy it as Apple intended it to be
It always depends on your lifestyle to be honest. If you spent most of your time at home, going caseless is not much big of a deal. However for those who need to go outside for work or travel a lot I would recommend a case. You will drop it at some point simply because you're human and you make mistakes but you have a choice to make that mistake expensive or cheap. Cheers.
I used my 13 pro caseless. People at school thought I was crazy especially when I dropped my phone on the classroom floor or the concrete outside. I had it for 2-3 years I think?? Now I have a 15 pro max with a case
Hi! I have also never dared to wear an iphone without a case before, I'm not afraid of scratches, it's even kind of cool to see small scratches on titanium, I've seen 15 pro max scratches on titanium in videos, and the scratches on the material seem to decorate the iphone, I think so. Smaller scratches can also be removed with a little rubbing with a cleaning cloth, as I've seen, watching videos of course, and I've seen some cases also get scratches when I take them off, but I'm just afraid of falling and I don't have Applecare. The iPhone 14 pro max is more secure in the hand, it fits better on the fingers, I mean it is more secure between the fingers than the 15 pro max and 15 plus are also quite silky and smooth in the hand. I enjoy the iPhone without the case so much, but I still keep the screen protector on the screen. I am the third day without a case, and I am careful with my things in general, at the same time it teaches me to be even more careful and teaches me to notice myself, how to keep my things even better and teaches me to consciously notice my own movements, to be aware of what I do and how I I do something, think about my own behavior and movements, be present. Thank you!
I only use a case when taking it somewhere "rough" - i love the feel of a naked phone. I'm always careful with my devices... Only cracked one smartphone screen in 15 years.
I'm using an iPhone 15 Pro without case for a month. But with a screen protector because I always facedown my phone when talk with someone. Waiting for your update
I hate using cases but never go full naked. I always use a screen protector and usually a skin or rear protector for the back. I will however use a case when I go hiking as the only phone I ever broke was when I was halfway up a mountain trying to take some pics.
Great video Jerry. I really enjoyed your sense of humor and nothing in this video was “bla bla”! This is a subject that I have wrestled with too. Even with AppleCare I’ve never been able to bring myself to go caseless. But I want to
It’s a good point. Why buy something and have it always covered up? But then if you drop it in the street? I don’t use front screen protectors as I thought they were permanent stuck on and I’ve seen phones with cracked screen protectors or horrible peeling edges. The lip on my back case usually protects the front. My back case has a stand so that is really useful, but it is slightly the wrong case for mouse iPhone 13 but fits ok.
I’m too nervous to ever go caseless. It’s an expensive investment - so i would say its best to protect your investment with small measures like screen protector and case. Worth the £30 spend to mainly protect it from cracks and having to sort it out & replace possibly. Ofcourse the iPhone looks best naked though. 🤣
My old iPhone X was cased for its first 2 years and the cases damaged the chrome parts more than being ceaseless did with the trapped debris I then dropped it a good 10+ft and it was un-marked, 2 days later it fell about 10inches from my pocket to the floor getting out the car and smashed both sides ! Got the new titanium 15 pro max and its been careless since release but Iv already smashed the back glass 😢
Oh man my soul hurts just reading that. I have my new iPhone 14 in a in my option incredible case. It’s just the back. Slot phone in and back is clear so I see the phones colour and it’s not one of those nasty clear bulky plastic clear.
I hate the way it sounds when you set it on a desk or table without a case. I despise how it wobbles due to the camera protrusion. A case eliminates both these issues.
Well I just recently joined you in going caseless with my iPhone 15 bro backs. I got tired of my shorts sagging when I walked around with my iPhone, wallet, and keys in my pockets and constantly had to jerk my pants up so I didn't display my fruit of the looms or Hanes underwear. Of course I did order a magnetic ring with finger holder and I'm actually looking forward to the experience and hoping buying a $30 magnetic ring does not turn out to be a waste? Of course I will keep my case just in case anxiety or paranoia sets in I can always put it back in. I wanted to practice getting used to this with the 15 pro Max because I anticipate buying the s25 ultra when it comes out next year and whether it will go into a case or not we shall see? In the meantime looks like you and I'll make this journey together. You have a friend in Columbus Ohio!
For me screen protector is fine as I don’t think it impacts use that much. But cases are kind of defeating the purpose of having an iPhone. Don’t get me wrong. I’m scared to use my phone without a case too but at the same time what’s the point of having such a beautiful device if you’re going to cover it up in a $10 plastic case
i still have my iphone 11 in a case... but it got scratches in there anyway. i think dust gets in between the case and the metal and grinds a little worn spot. So it's ruined anyway. I still use the case though because that phone is *slippery* without. My understanding is the newer titanium squarer-edged ones aren't, so, planning to replace it this autumn, i'll probably go caseless then. i do think the excessive fetishisation of protecting the iphone in its pristine state is a bit much. i know you're having fun with it too, although i suspect the struggle is real :-) but honestly the phone might as well be an ugly lump if you're going to spend all that money and never see it anyway.
I still find the titanium iPhones slippery and that is probably as hard to deal with as the cosmetic side. Yes, I was just trying to have fun so hope you enjoyed it.
Best of luck to ya!!! I took off my case at the same time as you in your video, but kept my screen protector and magnetic pop socket. I will be putting the case back on whenever I go in the bathroom because thats always when my phone falls!!! I suggest you do the same lol
I cant giv it a shot😂 but i did no screen protetor for 4years now with my iphone se and its okay. No scratch but it seems my finger swipe patern is now visible.
this phonme i have is pro max 15 i trust my self with no case buttt the screen that i cant bc of those mirco scratches will piss me off ahahah but i have a case on bc i love it more way to handle it soo im fine
@@JerrySchulze Just ordered a case because Jerry screws everything broke one on day one. Techrax needs to drop one down a chimney and some stair cases!

Brave soul.
Once that unfortunate drop occurs you'll regret it 😂
What made you change?
Funny timing. I almost convinced myself to take the case off my iPhone and go baseless awhile.
Then my “I don’t want to replace it” mind took over 😂
Yep, it’s crazy.
i have been using my 12 mini naked for 3years and its still fresh as hell
never dropped or scratched
@@khalil2069 :3 really
Update? Still going strong? :D?
@@Cave-u5j hmm 😌
The mini is aluminium. Totally different phone. Can’t really compare
I often use my iPhone caseless at my desk, but when I leave, I put on the case because I don't trust myself dropping it.

I’ve attempted to go without a case maybe 100 times. It never lasts for more than a couple hours.
Same!!!
Same bro
Me tooo 😅

Did it break when it fell?
I do use it caseless
dropped once (everything fine)
still use caseless
I work in construction and it needs a case along with a belt clip. To many other things in my pockets that would scratch in up in the first day.

So the case didn’t work then if theirs a dent in the Titanium 😅
I’ll go caseless at home, but I’m chucking a case on outside. Even with insurance, it’s still hella inconvenient getting a replacement.

Always team no case. Never had an issue.
I just use a screen protector, no case. Hold it while you do everything, and you'll get used to its shape.

apple care + and going case less is the best.
Unless one plans on reselling a device, scratches and dents are fine. Even Apple’s trade-in is forgiving for scratches and dents.
I hate the way it sounds when you set it on a desk or table without a case. I despise how it wobbles due to the camera protrusion. A case eliminates both these issues.
it's painful.
Would love to see some updates on how it’s going not only 6 months later. Maybe every month or two? 🤔
Maybe community posts?

😂 the lighting and candles were hilarious
I decided the same, anyway, I pay premium insurance with my provider in Serbia
3:35 💯 Agreed
I think cases are scams realistically, also the metal was intentionally chosen as it could wear beautifully
apple care plus is my best "case"

Been careless since the iPhone 4
I run my 15PM with a screen protector and the Arc Pulse and its a perfect blend of using it naked with some protection
Did you know titanium was the original first choice but it was too difficult to work with at the time

Not gonna lie you had me in the first part
There should be skins for the side panels you can buy

U buy a dbrand one or search one up
I just ended up getting a Benks Armor Air..super thin Kevlar.
Fun stuff! 😁
caseless 95% of the time, sometimes use a case to give a different look but always go back to naked iphone
Wallpaper?
I started getting mad when he took of the screen protector…. Like that’s so unnecessary
Umm... I've destroyed enough iPhones to know I can't.
