For everyone hating the price I purchased a similar steamer from EBay for $37 with free shipping It’s called the professional hair salon steamer styler. It works well and goes up to 450.
Leggs the one that you got is titanium it’s not good for hair your hair may look sleek shiny and soft but it will damage and weaken your hair they don’t have the ceramic one
I love the "yaki" straight textured look, so i love your results, but i definitely get what you mean about wanting silkier bone straight results, even as an option. A true flat iron should be able to offer both results.
Hi Misha, im not a pro at the whole hair type thing, but from what i have learned and what is my opinion is that "yaki straight" texture looks like straightened or relaxed "afro textured hair". In my opinion it doesnt necessarily have to be 4C hair. Neiicey's hair looks like its straightened afro textured hair in this video. Her texture straightened in this video doesnt look like it belongs on a white girls head. If i can tell that your hair straightened is "black people's hair" then its yaki textured to me. In my opinion Neiicey has a "3C light yaki texture" to her hair. But since the flat iron did not straighten her hair bone sleek straight, it looks like straightened yaki texture to me. I hope it makes sense. I know im a guy talking about this type of stuff but i do watch wig making videos too!!!
@@queenbee3734 yeah.. I’ll need to see birth pics because the only ones I know of have chemically altered hair. Unless you have a different definition of yaki
Your hair is gorgeous!!!! I would definitely consider buying this rather than using a normal flat iron cause am always worried abt heat damage. ❤❤❤....hold up the price literally stopped my heart dannnng😢
i got this done at the hairdresser the other day. my hair is one of the thickest, curliest, freeziest and puffiest types. it will no stay straight no matter what i do and i have been experiment for years and years. even 2 keratin straightenings didnt help a lot. got this done, and my hair has never ever been this straight! even straighter than this girl’s hair after she did it. Hairdresser charged me €15 for a wash, blowdry and this. WORTH IT. never going back:))
I’ve been using the steam pod for about four years now before the steam pod my hair would puff out after using ghds as it made my hair static . However I recommend really blowing out your hair before you straighten it and making sure when you wash your hair before you get all product out, (it sounds bad but I recommend using fairy liquid) as it takes all the grease from your hair. When I wash my hair my 3c curls come back poppin and healthy. I will always love the steam pod , even my teachers ask “what straighter do u use” and “ how do u get your hair so straight it definitely worth the money.
I’ve got the steam pod and it’s really good if u want ur hair straight but not damaging it, it only uses hot water steam on ur hair. And also people say steam is good for ur hair so this is great 👍
Thank you. No need to continue watching. I use the Ion Steam Pro Straightening Brush Iron on damp hair and it gets my hair straighter using it on 375. I purchased it at Sally Beauty with a 20% off coupon. So maybe $40. I was taught to only use heat once. Meaning either use a blow dryer with a round brush or let hair air dry and use a flat-iron. I was never a fan of the flat-iron and threw it away maybe 10 years go. So I own just owned a blow dryer with a diffuser. Now that I have the steam brush, I actually wear my hair straight sometimes (not often still because I prefer my curly hair). Pics on my Insta!
I'm the kind of person who thinks even if something's expensive but it's a high quality product that will last long time if I take care of it, I'll buy it. Might be $300 but I think it's worth it. Again, that's my personal opinion.
Your hair came out gorgeous! I just bought one on Amazon, and can't wait to use it. I like to straighten my hair in winter months more than summer because of the humidity. It's just easier for me to put in gel and leave curly instead of fighting hair with humidity. Thanks for video!

I was looking for a good steam iron & this has been around for a while. I don't know if this one is it but I do want to only use steam irons in the future due to heat damage. Once you get heat damage even if it's small, you don't want it again!

It does seem convenient but you're right; if it only JUST straightens your hair type; women with a more course hair type probably will not benefit from it! Respect Neiicey!👍🏾❤️
My friends had an Infiniti Pro flat iron that used steam. It had a little container that you'd pour distilled water into and attach to the flat iron to use. I liked it and it was waaaay cheaper than this one.
I had a steam straightener in the late 90s early 00s. They were so terrifying because you'd fill the front part with water and they would leak boiling water everywhere lol. So when I heard about this I had to see how they have done it. It looks good and you didn't scald yourself at all!
GIRL, your hair is gorgeous! So long and full and healthy looking. Yasssss. But I started using the little brush blow dryer because of you and I LOVE IT! I just might have to get this next. 😭😩👌🏾
People here complaining about the prize. Best straightener I have EVER had. Especially for my coarse 4Z hair. What's really cool is the steam that does the job, not the plates. Great bonus, the comb attached. Good investment
Have you ever tried using a round brush and a blow dry with a concentrated attachment to straighten your hair ? It works amazingly without the damage a flat iron would give you
$300 is too much for a flat iron that doesn't even get as hot as the regular one I already have. Your comment regarding the extra fluff that is left because of the lack of high temperature was great info. I have enough fluff in my hair due to its texture and thickness. Appreciate you posting this video, it helped me seal my decision to pass.
Well, i'm sold. Results are bomb and I've used steam straighteners in the past. They really make a difference health wise. The comb is what really got me though. If anyone wants a cheaper option, see if conair still sells it.
Who would have thought that we could str8en our hair with "water". It came out beautifully. I love the look. But I love the blown out look better. If I ever decide to press/str8en my hair again I'm going with your Steamer.
Appreciate your honestly. This means it will probably ONLY work on STRETCHED hair and on some 4Cs may not at all (unless you are a 4C?). It gets it 'straight' but not 'Bone straight' but much better than LOW HEAT on a regular Curling Iron. And it's probably BETTER for your hair then HEAT. One last thing though... did you get the 3 days it promised?
I know that it’s easier and better for your hair but it just doesn’t look pressed and silky as when you do it with a real straighteners with hot plates??
Look nice question is does it leave the heat smell like with irons. It's still a little poofy but its more body wise then bone straight which i think has to do with the moisture you're putting back in which is a good thing. How long did it last in the elements before reverting back.
I do really love the way it really got your hair straight and I was about to order till I seen that price and noticed I can use that money for more natural hair products lol may still consider though
I bought this 4 years ago (pink version) for about £100 or so in the UK. I've used it many times and yes it doesn't give u a bone straight press for long but im not trying to fry the hell out of my strands (high porosity) def like the steam it puts into your hair, hair isn't fried like a regular iron but soft. I mean 4 years and still counting so now I don't mind the spend so much now.
I had it in my head that the hair would revert or frizz up on my texture, but it looks promising! I'll have to try something like this when my hair grows out more
I just got this steampod 🥰 and I'm really happy I found your tutorial, new subscriber from Amsterdam🌷 P.s. I'm thinking about drying my hair with rollers first then use the steam..is that okay or should I just dry my hair naturally or with a blower??🤔
It may simply be hard to tell from the video but, I’m wondering what is special about this product, other than the price. I get the impression that, while it does a decent job of straightening her hair, it’s not “bone straight”. While I personally like a bit of microkink, if bone straight results, like Chinese straight, is what she’s trying to get, I’m not so sure she’s getting that. One can compensate with various hair products to counteract that but, it still means this needs a crutch. I think she has one GORGEOUS head of hair though.

How do you keep your hair from being damaged when you straighten it? I saw your other hair straightener video you posted about a month ago and I was curious.

Great review & demo of the new L’Oréal SteamPro Straightening Brush! Your hair came out beautiful, and it’s length goals when straight.
Nice video and I love how you were honest about the steam straightener. I would not buy it due to my thick hair.
The movement! Your hair came out sooo good! I would love to try this on my 4b/c hair but that price...😭
are you still using this?? could you do a side by side comparison with a normal straightener??
I love your hair, but I just wanted to let you know that serums usually go before lotions or creams!
Someone please help me out! My natural hair without any heat and products etc, looks like her hair at the beginning of the video. I've been trying to figure out what that curl pattern is called but I don't understand the curl chart exactly. What curl pattern is that called?
Hair length goals!
