    BUNNY. DO NOT OUT ICE ON BURNS. I say this with my first aid certification, it will damage the skin and tissue even further. Use cool water like a rag or a zip lock filled with cool water. If you really want it a bit colder put one or two ice cubes in the zip lock.

    • @FoxHill
      @FoxHill 9 років тому +13

      Tasha Briquet She didnt put ice on it, she has that dolphin pack thing, which as you can see isn't frozen solid, it's the same as your suggestion of ice cubes in a ziplock bag, but probably a little less harsh

    • @Greendalian
      @Greendalian 9 років тому +13

      Hannah Jane no, if it's from the freezer it's going to be too cold. And I said one or two ice cubes in a zip lock filled with water, so no it is more harsh than what I suggested.

    this product is such a gimmick, you have to turn it a specific way to curl it. if you use a normal straightener you can turn it whichever way you like and the curls come out better. also 400 degrees is too hot for MOST peoples hair(as stated by my salon's professionals). (YOUR HAIR MAY BE DIFFERENT!)
    i feel like for the price it's crap, you can buy a good straightener ans curling iron for cheaper!

    Bunny the reason you weren't getting any curls to work going away from your face is because when you "vroom like a motorcycle" forward you have to spin the tool one full time around so your hair loops under and back over again. The way you were doing it was only like a quarter turn which is why it was just kind of frizzy straight! But you don't need this tool to do it -- its the same technique you would use with a regular flat iron to curl your hair.

      Jenny WW & BeautyLoverxx123 - Not dissing bunny at all..I enjoy most of her videos. She is hilariously funny.
      BUT if this iron is used correctly, the curls are way better than any flat iron, and once you get the hang of it, is much faster than with any flat iron or curling wand. It really is not hard to use, you just have to flip your wrist a certain way. Its not rocket science. It is pricey, but it is a two in one. I have one and my curls last days. Just sayin.

    You'll never get a ringlet tight curl with an iron that wide. The size of the curl is the size of the iron. You can get micro flat irons which are only about half an inch wide and that will give you a smaller tighter curl :)

      @ItsKatherineMarie 9 років тому +1

      If you do that you will break and damage your hair a bunch. You do it the same way you would with any straightener. She was doing it properly. Her hair is a few inches shorter than mine and my hair does the same. On the shorter pieces it curls, but on the longer ones it makes a wave. When you have longer hair it weighs it down so you have to use less hair.

      You can buy heat protector spray at most places near the shampoo and gel. If you do basically the same movement bunny was talking about with a straightener it will work. Put your hair in it, flip your wrist back (or forward of you prefer towards your face) 180 degree turn and pull through. My cousin curls as she pulls through by roaring either way works. :)

    Hi Bunny, long time viewer of your vids. I'm a hair dresser and my trick to using a flat iron to curl is to make your section longer then they are wide. So, for example, take a section about 3 inches tall and only and inch wide. When you have that section clamp your iron vertically on your hair and give it a complete turn the pull slowly. That should make curl nicely. I hope that helps.

  • @elliereenagonzalez
    @elliereenagonzalez 9 років тому +4

    Maybe if you went faster through your hair, you would get better curls because since your hair is so long, it takes you longer to get through your hair. When you pass through parts of your hair, they are being held straight as you pass through the rest of the hair therefore losing the curl. Idk if that makes sense, anyway, love you girl! Try to think of actually throttling a motorcyvke, in which case you pull back towards yourself.
    I don't like that you can only curl in one direction and I don't think I would substitute for my wand but it looks like it straightens very well and shiny!

    • @MILKYWAY-qu5cy
      @MILKYWAY-qu5cy 9 років тому

      It only really straightens nicely because it goes to 400 degrees. It isn't really a very good product besides the heat level, so honestly I'd just buy a salon grade straightener and you can do exactly the same. A normal straightener can curl just the same as this tries to, so there's really no point in such an expensive thing. Heat is all it takes to straighten, which is why a lot of common straighteners don't work well for some hair types, because the common brands don't usually heat more than 250~ degrees.

  • @Tatianaesimpson

      Bunny, I had a one on one tutorial with TYME...it turns out I was putting the wrong side against my head...you put the side not with the straitening side but with the hooked side...tension is also a big issue...it is recommended by TYME to pick the iron up with your fingers so as to control the tension

    when you put the guidelines to your head, vroom like a motorcycle and super lightly pull out towards the mirror. I don't thing bunny can tolerate Guy tang's obnoxious attitude. I hate how he treats his clients after color. Like he whips their hair or tug it like its a maniquins hair. And it's all about him in reveal videos, sad because his work is amazing

    I'm not sure if it is a well known infomercial in the US but I have seen a lot of ads on TV about a brand called "sheer cover studio" and if it's available in America I'd be really interested to see you test it out on one of the 'does this thing really work" videos :) thanks Bunny, all the love from Ireland x

    How long did it take to grow your hair out that long?
    I would LOVE to have hair that long, it's beautiful

      I would think it took a couple of years cause my hair is longer than hers and it took me 3 in a half years ish lol :)

      My hair is about the same length as hers and it took me about 2 years. But it depends on how short u started with and how fast your hair grows. Mine grows out REALLY QUICK. I would say about 7 inches a year. My mom, sister and dad also grow out their hair quick.

      My hairs that long and it took me around 8 months to go to my hips from my shoulders

      Megan C honestly it probably took you longer. A normal person's hair can grow about 5-6 inches (more than 6 is considered very fast) a year so for your hair to be double or triple that amount per year i find to be impossible. But if you say it's true, then wow that's amazing!

    When she does her hair or whatever sometimes I just be like ugh, please brush it,comb it, blow dry it straight, or something first lol. I would also love to see her with a head full of straight hair, but I love you bunny!!!

    You held it in the wrong hand and then inverted the curl after you pulled in the correct direction. Hence the looser curl. (for a tighter curl, once you pull through the hair w/ the iron, you curl it in the direction of the shape of the "barrel".)
