I've had a Tesla for 4 years and it was amazing watching you experience it for the first time. Great video! You being impressed without even being in plaid mode is hilarious 😂
@@sasukesuite1 I love this car. I drove one. It wrecked me -I want one real bad. I have the model Y 2021 performance that does 0-60 in 3.5 seconds. I am 6 foot 2 inch tall and I can’t handle how low it is. This car is nuts/fun to drive. Gotta get one anyway.
FYI, there's a charge curve where the Tesla charges very fast at over 250 kwh when the battery is low, below 20%, then when the battery is above 50% it slows down to well under 150 kWh due to heat built up. It's a safety feature to protect the battery from damage. So generally it may take 15 minutes to add the first 150+ miles, but the next 150 miles can take up to 30 minutes more.
Congrats on your new car, some tips for you: 1. The car said to keep charging because your charge limit was set to 100. If you put in your destination it will automatically route to chargers and display the correct charging time. 2. There’s an option in settings to make the car do how ever much over or under the speed limit you want. 3. The only Tesla with Steer By Wire is the Cybertruck. 4. I know you don’t like setting the limit to 80 but it really helps keep the battery in good shape.
Hi randy! Enjoy the Model S a lot! Thankfully you got the Updated steering wheel that has the horn on the center and not the touch button! Still enjoy it and can't wait to see more videos with it 👏🏻
Hey Randy, if you enable advanced software upgrades, you should get the FSD 12.5 update which allows for hands free FSD. Its also a much larger model, which is overall way better than previous versions.
Beautiful car Randy! I recently bought a Model 3 with FSD, just a little tip, in the autopilot settings you are able to set an automatic speed limit offset. I have mine set to 15% over the limit and it works perfectly and drives like I would.

They’ve had too many accidents with people letting the car drive itself so the law says now you have to keep your hands on the wheel, even if it’s a car driven to me accident for Texas
I love your videos and reactions to everything. It puts a smile on my face everyday, been watching ur videos for years! Hope the car goes well!
Congrats on your new Plaid! Seems like an awesome ride already!
All the laughs and excitation are well worth any price that you pay for this car!!!
Plaids are averaging $55k - 60k all day in Autotrader with avg of 25k miles and clean title but no FSD so that’s a great deal
I don't know if anyone has mentioned it but the wheels you see on the 19inch are just hubcaps. They pull off and there are very nice looking wheels under them. I had mine removed before I drove off the Tesla lot.
I wish we could have these in Australia, the last model S sold here was the 2020 model. I'd love a model S with door bins.
Congratulations Randy.
Super video , plaids are lot cheaper in America than in Europa , I paid mine 112000 euro (new)last year ; used one can be found for 90000 euro
hope all is well randy!
Thank you.
Mike definitely needs to get a tesla now!!
Haven't seen a new Model 3?! Wow, that's wild. I probably see 25-50 new ones a day here in Vancouver. I can count literally dozens of 3s / Ys in a 15 minute drive - they're absolutely everywhere. Very popular cars here.
Will the car talk to you as you drive. KITT n Michael Knight. "Wakey wakey michael you are dosing off. We are almost at our destination."
As all ways a GREAT video with you and Monkey Wrench Mike, a great team.
It is really nice, cant afford one, but i can see why people love these.
Still waiting on that randy and mike podcast, love the vids from both of you :)
I'm jealous! Would love to buy a Plaid at that price, in this condition, warranty and specs!
Dope video brother congrats on new car not my thing there to basic keep pushing blessings
My idol wins again. Much love bro!!!
47:06 The only Tesla that currently has steer-by-wire is the cybertruck.
