I think they are regular old Pokémon in their Ultra spaces, but their spaces are much harsher environments that would force them to be much stronger "regular" pokemon. At least in comparison to a much easier to live in environment as Earth
A big contender for the Light Trio to not be UBs is their Base Stat Total and also not having the Beast Boost Ability. UBs have 570 BST, not 680. But they also have individual Stats being all prime numbers, like Solgaleo and Lunala do. I always imagined them as the "Mews" of their worlds, the sole primordial being that would change and morph with time. The fact Poipole evolves in Megalopolis is a big indicator of this. They need to adapt by being around humanoid lifeforms.
I really enjoyed the discussion between you three in this episode. In my headcanon, the Ultra Beasts Pokemon are just regular Pokemon. But it has me wanting to see you have an episode talking about all the Legendary and Mythical Pokemon, and whether they deserve that status in your headcanon since there are just so many of them now.
Imo a more likely explanation for why regular Pokemon exist in Ultra Space is that just like how the Ultra Beasts sometimes get sucked into our world, our Pokemon sometimes get sucked into theirs. And that's why every time you visit an Ultra world you only find one Mon rather than a grass patch full of them, even though it's a repeatable thing for you it might technically an unusual occurrence in lore.
Gladion technically already has an ultra beast. Type Null: was created using ultra beast dna. The tubes you were talking about that joined ultra space are called ultra worm holes
If moon stones are actually from the moon will the Pokémon world ever run out of moon stones or do they just fly to the moon and harvest some more when they’re running low?
Moon stones are probably stones that come from outta space not necessarily the moon they most likely got there names because clefairy would do a moonlight dance ritual with the stones to evolve
No way I’m waiting for gen 10 remakes for Tera to return.. I really hope they realize Tera is so good of a gimmick gameplay-wise that it shows up sooner than later.. I’m rooting for Mrs Briar and her goals. Sure, Mega evolution is a cooler concept, but in terms of actual gameplay Tera so much more fun and allows so many Pokémon to be viable again.
There was a theory about UBs that u guys forgot to mention them representing 7 deadly sins. Not the most convincing & has some stretches. Paradox Pkmn feel like their successors as a generational group that pretty much only fits in with the region that they were introduced in.
First of all i would like to make it clear that Ultra Space has to deal with concepts which are essentially fiction and remain theoritical due to lack of proof: multiverse. The multiverse is a concept, which itself doesn't have 1 singular definition. It goes from the definition of parallel universes (so similar universes but with things slightly different) all the way to having a giant universe with "smaller" universes inside it. I think Gamefreak adapted the first definition for gen 4 and the latter one for gen 7. Dialga, Palkia, Giratina, Arceus, the ghost pokemon dimensions, dimensions that bronzong and dusknoir that open as well as the digital dimension all seem to be parallel dimensions. Ultra space seems to be the bigger universe with all other universes of UBs and ours contained inside it. So actually Ultra space is not the big universe but rather its a wormhole that connects the universes in the giant universe. It always says u travelled certain light years when u enter a portal in ultra space so the wormhole makes more sense. I guess we dont have a name for the giant universe yet so i will just call it Pokeverse for convenience. But one thing is for sure, Necrozma (well ultra necrozma) is the most powerful being in the Pokeverse. I guess thats why its not called an ultra beast since it doesnt come from one small universe like buzzwole but it roams free in all the universes. Solgaleo and Lunala might be similar where they dont come from a particular universe and were born in the outskirts of the pokeverse. But the gen 4 legendaries or gods are in alternate dimensions outside of the pokeverse. This is all confusing, i know but i hoped this helped to shed some light :)
but necrozma is an ultra beast every single one of its forms have the special effect that ultra beasts have at the end of their cry and they call it ub o black and every ultra beast is ub something
Ultra Beast don't come from other dimension. They come from other places in the universe. You travel light years in ultra space... that is physical distance.
The first 5 minutes of seeing Eternatus had me thinking "Is this an Ultra Beast?" and time has only made me think its that more thanks to Poipole's line. Things line up too much in their designs.
Excellent episode gentlemen! I love the ultra beasts! I love gen 7 so much! I hope one day we can encounter Poipole normally and catch it, instead of getting it as a gift. I want Poipole & Naganadel in master balls.Every time I see Celesteela now, I wish there was a way to get one in a strange ball. Also wish i could get a shiny Stakataka in a park ball lol
Nidoking and Nidoqueen lines are based on rabbits which are heavily associated with the moon (I’m skipping over a bunch of lore, see Kaguya) hence the requirement for Moon Stones to evolve. I wouldn’t say they’re extraterrestrial tho. Clefable line makes more sense to be alien as well as Hatterene.
this video has the same energy as those people who try to distinguish the gender of yugioh cards like "oh this rock golem monster has tits so it's definitely female". maybe it's just me but who really cares what they're called?
@@HiddenPowerPodcastHey what’s up have you heard about the BW Chinese Leak’s 😅. It’s always pointing to 3,3 headed Pokémon. And all can use Tri attack 🔥⚡️🧊 could the Original Dragon have Three heads instead of one??? Could it be indicating that The Original Dragon is a Three Headed Dragon one 🔥 head one ⚡️ head one 🧊 head. For Example go on line and look up YUGIOH Five Headed Dragon 😅 to get a Idea of what it might look like. Before it split off and became three separate Dragons.
41:15 Funny thing about this is that in the Japanese version they use "Engrish" for Ultra Space (Urutora Supeesu) rather than Japanese words, so it sounds inherently foreign to them and if they ever do actual space travel in Pokemon they can easily differentiate it by using their usual space terms. Maybe the English translation should've taken more liberties here.

One thing to consider about the light trio and the ultra beasts is that all of their cry ends with the same sound

It says moon stones ate from space, in red and blue when you go to the museum in the first gym town with brocks gym
Interesting! It could always be an In world misinterpretation though. Like the people just assume it’s from the moon or something 🤷🏻♂️
If moon stones are actually from the moon will the Pokémon world ever run out of moon stones or do they just fly to the moon and harvest some more when they’re running low?
Only if Piccolo blows it up 😂
i think moon stones are like real life stones that are “charged” by the full moon etc
Moon stones are probably stones that come from outta space not necessarily the moon they most likely got there names because clefairy would do a moonlight dance ritual with the stones to evolve

Garganacl is still so weird to me for pokemon design
They brought back the "GET A MUG!" ad!!
This is an old ep that we never published until now!
theres also malamar like its such a very alien like pokemon

Soul have sometime a good taste in Pkmn

The OG paradox is reshiram and zekrom
What if Terapagos is an ultra beast/ Alien?
Its Definitely an Extra Terrestrial

All these fancy things and labels Deoxys is still my favorite alien UB or things like that

The Pokémon world and lore do not make any sense, but it's ok as long as they are functional for good monster designs
It make sense and more confusing the more you look into it and the deep of the lore you go.
SPACE POKEMON
i think soul should start making videos on X, i watch a lot of xvideos and i think soul would be really good at it.
