My family set me up with my own corner in the living room and I would play it allllllll day. I loved it. This video definitely hit the feels. Great work!

Awesome video man, I'm an old Sega kid too, also started with the genesis. The mini is awesome and is a great addition to my Sega room alongside my genesis, Saturn, and dreamcast. Thank you Sega for a mini console that was actually done right. We 80s/90s kids still love you Sega 💙

I go way back to the Sega Master System and everytime I see one of these come out, I need it in my life. I know that with the other Genesis consoles that have recently been sold, you can use your old cartridges, so perhaps the mini does play cartridges. Made me a Sega kid even though they were done with the console market. Cannot wait for this, itll look real nice next to my Dreamcast
My first system was Sega Genesis too, but my first game was X-Men 2: Clone Wars. Funny thing is, I actually never played a Sonic game until years later AFTER I no longer had my Genesis and I discovered emulatiors.
Sega Genesis was my first console. Man this brings back the memories. Also based on what i read games will be released in blocks of 10. You seem to have all from the get go though. Got console/emulator type thing from 2016 that had 80 games in built lol. There is a 2017 720p output version of that with 85 games in built(in memory). Both are available on amazon. Weird though that my controllers had 6 buttons on them. You need all 6 to play mortal kombat and street fighter. Pretty sure it was called the genesis.
Sega Genesis was the first game system I owned and played as well. I remember playing NBA games on it. It was when Pete Myers was substituted for Michael Jordan on games like NBA Live and I believe the other one was NBA Action. I was waiting for you to use the three fingers on the buttons. It was necessary for a lot of games I played on it.

I grew up with sega man! i still have my original console and all my games with the boxes. I still enjoy playing it on my recently picked up 13 inch crt tv.
I remember when me and my brother got are first sega to share. We were very poor kids. At the time my mom was working at taco bell and someone was saling it so she bought it for us as a Christmas gift and we loved it. We played it all the time till it broke( when u went down u couldn't ever go back up) . That how we got a sega. Then my brother bought a other one used then when Nintendo 64 came out he saved all his money for one and let me keep the sega and all the games we had. That was one momery I will never forget when ut comes to gaming.
I remember playing the genesis at the daycare I use to go to in early 2000s and played sonic and sonic 2 and really excited to get the mini to see how it is and also got the USB turbo controller for it too
Would be dope if they had the 6 key button. ABC, XYZ remember that one?
I'm only 16 but when I was a kid we only had plug-n-plays. We had a lot of them but the two I played the most (and the only good ones) was a Namco Museum one and a Sega Genesis one. Made me a Sega kid even though they were done with the console market. Cannot wait for this, itll look real nice next to my Dreamcast
That was my first games console, OMG I love it and can't wait to get it 😊
My first system was Sega Genesis too, but my first game was X-Men 2: Clone Wars. Funny thing is, I actually never played a Sonic game until years later AFTER I no longer had my Genesis and I discovered emulatiors.
this was my first console, really takes me back!
It's all about mean bean Machine
Yo you should start streaming. That webcam setup and gameplay looked better than most streams
I’m 19 and my first console was the Sega Genesis. I remember playing a Batman game and Sonic
Austin Drew dude, by the time you were a kid PlayStation 3 was already out. How is the genesis your first console?
@@aboodmkm he probably had the AT games Sega. That's what I had. 😐
