    Mad respect from a Honda fella 🙌 ... 💯% Subscribed !!
    I got an E11 rolla and ur swap is something uniquely successful ... wish A.F parts were easily available off the shelf like the tons of choices in Honda Afm vendors provide.

    • @holdmywetnutz
      @holdmywetnutz  4 роки тому

      So tru but 4age stuff is widely available so that's why most use this swap.. if you want a motor that flows like a b18c5 for the corolla you can do a 2zzge swap

    • @crx4lyf

      @@holdmywetnutz 2zz is a good choice. Usually i collect necessary parts n keep ready when base is being changed .. like for 2ZZ, need to have mounts + headers + some sort of plug n play adapter/s or harness,, to be able to connect straight fit without havin to troubleshoot bugs for weeks and (worst part) being at the mercy of an electrician !
      Axles can be taken care locally.
      Already removed the analogue/mechanical cluster and swapped to electrical type.. it even had sockets ready in dash from factory unlike Hondas.
      Any suggestion on these 3; Ecu adapter/mounts/headers ?
      I got a 99 model E11 hatch, G6R type, but with 4AFE 1.3L

      @@crx4lyf if you have a 1.3 l its probable 4efe.. in Jamaica they love those engines.. they swap the 1.5l Paseo block on the E heads and build them for boost.. my buddy has a Terrell with 4efe and took it out to put in a turbo 20v 4age.. if you have the money and resources could do turbo 5efe or 4age or 2zzge swap. 2zzge in a lightweight corolla gutted with cams pistons, standalone and billet rockers can make 210-230whp. May cost alot but also turbo 2zzge is also a good route. 4age 20/16 is ok but not up to today's standard unless you got money to build all motor which I think is a waste compared to na 2zzge or boosting a 20v or 16v 4age. What is your budget thats the reality that depicts your future swap

    • @crx4lyf
      @crx4lyf 4 роки тому

      @@holdmywetnutz my bad.. correct, its 4efe. As the sayin goes, there's no replacement for displacement. A 1.8 block or above will be a much better application compared to 1.3 or 1.6 any day... Torque curve improves a lot, just like when we frank a b16 or b18 head with a 2.0 block.
      Past few yrs I've switched from B motor to an h2b setup with H23v stock motor + I/H/E & with fewer efforts n expenses,, its a friggin beast ... its worlds apart from well built B na setups.
      Back to 2zz , anyone u know that can hook me up with headers+mounts and most importantly ECU adapter ? Intention is to use an uncut 2zz Engine harness and its ECU to mate along with e11 dash and other miscellaneous wiring.
      Several friends i know of had their rollas abandoned for months till they could figure the VVTL not engaging, then bugs n misfiring issues, unknown problems with fuel gauge readings, etc, etc.
      I honestly cannot take that route n wanna do it right and have it rolling in 1-2 days.

      @@crx4lyf i get you with the Frankenstein swaps lol. Man honestly I don't know anyone. But I do know a guy that successfully put a k20 in a 93-97 corolla body.. I'm not sure if he's done a write up or not.. if your going 2zzge standalone right off the bat gives you way more power.

    So today, watching this video, it finally kinda clicked. I saw the adapter plate on the distributor, and now it all makes sense. You just swapped over as many Honda external bits to plug into Honda wiring. You're smart, less of a wiring job and mostly relocating plugs.

    Hey man, this is a sick build! So glad I found your channel. I live in Australia and I have a 95 corolla conquest with a 7afe, mostly stock. I'm not on fulls for another year and a half but I'd like to get more out of her. She's a great car and engine. I've been considering doing a conversion to a 7age using a 4age head, exhaust manifold, and whatnot. So, without a turbo, do you know what sort of power you can get out of them with this conversion, what should the conversion involve and how much? Is it worth it? You know your shit with this build so if you could chuck me some info and advice that'd be sick! Thanks man, once again sick build! #rollalyf

    • @holdmywetnutz
      @holdmywetnutz  7 років тому +2

      TBD_TheBlackDog haha thanks man glad you like.. as far as na all motor I've seen with work 190-200whp. Some out there making more hp.. it does cost some money to do. Machining the blocks bore and to fit right sized pistons in. Best to run a stand alone.. but a 4age harness can compensate for some of the setup.. is it worth the money yes I would say so. If you go to matrixgarage.com it has a uage setup page and all the parts needed 😀😀 that you can order

    • @TBD_Teebs
      @TBD_Teebs 7 років тому

      Rollachriz haha cheers man. Not sure if I'd want to go all out right away, I could easily afford it, but mainly just want to get a bit more power for the moment, maybe 20-30kw. Was thinking possibly 4age head, exhaust manifold, intake and ecu. So not too extreme. Do you think something like that would produce some decent gains? Wouldn't cost that much either. And as you've mentioned, the 7afe stock internals are good for even high boost so they should be fine for something like that. Cheers 👊

    • @holdmywetnutz
      @holdmywetnutz  7 років тому +3

      TBD_TheBlackDog You can you stock internals but not Stock pistons with the 4 AGE had.. the weak link on 7afe is the rod bolts. Arp doesn't make rod bolts for 7afe but I know a set that will fit.. as for boost stock rods good for like 250hp. Crank is fine for more. Since your over seas a nice 20v head would be nice on the 7a block with 20v pistons and high octane fuel

    • @holdmywetnutz

    Chris you are our hero, well done for your patient and thanks for sharing with us! What headgasket do you have ?Also a small port head will make small or big difference vs bigport on a turbo setup? what size is yours?

    • @holdmywetnutz
      @holdmywetnutz  3 роки тому

      I have cosmetic head gasket.. small port head will make up to 300hp easier and better then bigport. but after 300hp bigport I feel is better... you can machine the smallport to flow more then bigport after running over 300hp. you can run stock bigport cams in smallport head to gain few more hp 😀 too.
      I run a bigport head since I was aiming at higher numbers.

    Hey nice setup right now I have an AE101 1997 4afe 3 speed aut. transmission and I just bought the whole conversion for a 5 speed manual from a ae 92 which I think it's a c50 if I'm not mistaken and I really want to know if I could use the same bellhousing (c50) and just replace the internals to the ones of the c52 since I'm about to go 7age thanks for the help

    • @holdmywetnutz
      @holdmywetnutz  4 роки тому +1

      No need to swap bell housings.. ae92 trans IS c52 and a 4.3 final drive ratio. 4afe c50 trans will bolt up to 7afe.. it has a different first gear and 2nd gear ratio from c52.. so c50 or c52 will bolt up to 4afe or 7afe
