My first period Story: so my cat cut my leg near my downstairs area and one morning I woke up and the bed sheets were red, I thought that my cuts reopened. I was wrong, plus my 6th grade went to school with shorts and had to explain the blood to my teacher. Then after school my mom said “omg HONEY YOUR A WOMAN” then called all her friends and my family that I was a woman. Thanks mom

Here’s my first period horror story: so my mom was going to a job interview I was 10? 11? At the time so anyways she had a job interview at 9.00 AM yo girl wakes up at 8.35 so my mom was going out the door to the bus station cause she doesn’t have a car so I went to the bathroom half asleep I looked down and saw blood I started crying so bad LITERALLY THOUGHT I WAS DYING my dad heard me he didn’t know what to do, so he called my mom and my mom came running she laughed and said welcome to womanhood anyways the moral of the story ENJOY THE TIME YOU HAVE BEFORE YOU KIDS GET YOUR FIRST PERIOD

My first period my mom had left town but me being the 12 year old i was who had watched my share of your videos snuck into her bathroom and got her pads and convinced my guy friends to bike with me to get chocolate at the local gas station so i ended up spending 35$ on chocolate and having to sneak it into my room cause my dad is STRICT

I just got my first period 2 days ago while watching your period horror story videos 😂
I thankfully didn't have to go through the whole "omg I'm dying!!" thing on my first period because my mum had made sure to tell me that I would get it one day so I didn't panic, thank you mummy!! so instead I just calmly called her from the bathroom and asked her for some supplies:))
Here's a Horror Story:
I was a ditzy 10 year old and I thought the sticky side was supposed to go on the sensitive body part. When my mom gave me a pad, I put it on the wrong way. I asked my mom how she could comfortably wear a pad, and it took her a while to realize I put it on the wrong way.

My first period was in a supermarket with my dad and he was across store and I was in the bathroom and I didn’t have my phone there was no toilet paper left and had to use stiff industrial size paper towels As a makeshift pad. It was fun.

My first period story: I saw this brown stuff in my underwear. I knew that it being a period was a possibility, but I remembered my mom saying that it would be red. Two days go by. On the third day, we were rushing to go to church. I went to the bathroom, and " went farther back " when I wiped myself and it was red. That sounds a little tmi, but we're a whole freaking family so....❤

My first-period horror story: I was 11. When I went to the bathroom I saw blood on my underwear I knew it was my first period but I was scared to tell mom so after 3 months of hiding my period my mom surprised me she smiled and gave me pads it turned out that she knew all that time that I had a period.

I got my period 2 months ago (January 10th) and I remember that morning I had really bad cramps and I was just sat in bed for the whole morning. I was watching videos about periods but I thought nothing of it. Then in the evening I went to the bathroom and straight away realised that I had started but, my dad took my phone off me. And i said to him I need it. He asked me why but I didn’t tell him. I then asked my mum but I didn’t tell her. I wanted to message my BFF about any advise. I had to go the whole night with nothing. When I got my phone back I messaged my friend and it took me the whole day to tell her lmao! I just remember crying my eyes out when I told her, cuz her reaction was sooo sweet 💜

i got my first period on a friday the 13th. i was also born on the only friday the 13th in 2005. i also won basketball tickets on a friday the 13th. last year, everything got shut down on a friday the 13th. a lot of things in my life are tied to a friday the 13th.
This has been the first time within about a year of watching I finally was in sync with a period video🤣🤣. Oh the things I get excited about.

I was so confused when I first got my period. I was in math class, and I just figured it might be my period, but I also thought I might have been hurt. I just carried on with my day and told my mom later at the dentist.

I haven’t had my period yet but I have been having headaches, nausea ,cramps and mood swings,and extra discharge for a week or two I’ve also been bloated lately I know I’ll have it soon but I kinda want to enjoy my childhood for a little while longer and not be sick I’m also scared that my mom will tell everyone

Hiii Sharon 😌👋🏾 !!My story: I got my first period when I was 12.(I’m 34 now) at my grandpa’s repasse. I wasn’t surprised though because my mom had been preparing me for it with the phenomenal “Period Book”. Of course as soon as she came..So did the terrible cramps. Now it seems like my period tends to come during funerals . It’s crazy
You know what a coincidence is... That I was looking at caseify phone cases and she got sponsored by them!
So I was about 12 and I had gotten some discharge for a while and I got a lot of it so I used pantyliners. One day I wore a pantyliner and I wore white shorts I dint think about it that much but then I got my first period and because of my pantyliner it saved my white shorts

Discharge is what you get like some time before your period it can go on for a year before you get your period though

I'm 12 and still haven't gotten my period. My mother got hers when she 9/10 and because of that she doesn't look at me like a tween/to be teen. Luckily i live with my grandmother and she made the first steps as in:
-Buying me my first bra
-Trlling me a little about periods (though i still haven't got the full on talk she just said that I'd bleed from time to time and it's totally normal)
Update: I just got my first period today september 17th 2021
She will tell you eventually and it will be embarrassing but it will be over soon 🤗

I got my first period on Christmas Day and l spent the whole day feeling awful.

Once I saw a bit of blood after going to the bathroom, told my mum, as a nurse she said you probably scratched yourself. After going shopping she came back with some pads. I saw them unpacking the shopping bag and my mum told me later it could be my period. But I haven't had monthly cycles so I don't think it was. Every day I carry a spare pair of knickers and a pad in my school bag.
