So one time in middle school my friend was cleaning out my pencil pouch, she was dumping the trash in an area i dont use in my backpack. I realized she put it in my Pad area, she saw and looked at me, she said "Don't worry we all have it, WE ARE WOMEN" and we went on with out day.

I'm generally confused with teachers that don't know anything about periods like can't you call that "basic biology"? most people I know learned about it in primary school
edit: ok most of you were taught about this in high school (if you were taught at all) but still, it's an important topic to be aware of and teachers should definitely have some knowledge of it

One of my period “horror” stories is that once when I was at school I got sick and I was sitting in the nurse's office waiting for my mom to pick me up, and this girl came in and told the nurse that she got her period and 2nd grade me was just like ooooohhhh noooooooo I’m going to be infected with this and so is the nurse because I thought it was some sort of disease...🤦♀️😂

So i was in class with my crush, i got my period early and i wasn't prepared i asked my friend for a tampon and i put it in my sleeve, well i tripped and the tampon when flying out of my sleeve and hit my MALE teacher in the face, he then proceeded to tell me how disrespectful and gross i am. My crush bought me a chocolate bar tho and now where pretty close. Love you sharon!

My aunt is a teacher and she always supports other girls who get there periods. She has a bathroom in her classroom so she keeps pads and tampons in there in case there’s a problem

I got my period in school, and so, I went to the bathroom to take out my tampon and didn’t dispose it because there was no trash can , so I put it in a ziplock bag, and washed my hands. And I went to throw it away in another bathroom that’s downstairs on the 1st floor. In the cafeteria.....and about 1 hour later it was on the floor at lunchtime, idk how. And bloody Mercy! My bf thought it was a tea bag someone never used. So he squeezed it and put the “teabag” in his water and drank the whole thing. I was so disgusted. And it’s fine he didn’t have my number and I was in the process of switching schools anyway. He is so gross.

My period horror story:
So I am in the 5th grade currently and this happened about 2 weeks ago. So I was outside for recess and I was hanging out with my friends. And I didn't know how to hide my pads and how thi make it less noticeable. So I put a unused pad in both of my sleeves. That was not a good idea.so I went outside and tide the hoodie I was wearing around my waist. And I started running (for whatever reason).then my pad falls out on the ground. And teachers and students are trying to find out who's it is...and one of the boy picked it up and said "what is this thing".and I didn't know that some random girl (imma call her shelly) seen it fall out of my hoodie...so then she goes "ITS HER PAD".then I started crying...thx for reading =)

One day at school, I was wearing sweatpants ON MY PERIOD and then I went to went to the bathroom and there was a MAJOR STAIN ON MY PANTS so then I told my teacher and she got me some pants from my school. When I got back into the classroom, these boys were kind of laughing but my friends were nice and asked me if I was okay.

I was in class and i needed to change my pad and i didn’t have any and there was no girls around me i surrounded by boys so i asked the teacher for a pad or if i could go to the nurse and she said no because that wasn’t a good enough reason to leave the class and it turns out i leaked and all the boys saw me and then my friend was looking into her book bag and then ran to me and handed me a pad and told me to go

I was in school and I used the same pad for 6 and a half hours of school cuz I had no spare. I didn't realize I had leaked and had to get changed to my pe shorts for football after school. I felt something wet and could feel it leak but I played on the WHOLE practise. I got home and looked at my blue shorts and there was blood EVERYWHERE.
HOWWWW does Sharon always WITHOUT FAIL posts this video when I’m on my period. My period was late this month and it was STILL posted the day after I started. 😂

So when I was in 5th grade I was 12 it was January, and I had just started my first period. My mom had briefed me on everything but one little fact don't put a tampon in if your bleeding enough. So Monday roles around and I didn't want to be embarrassed by accidently leaking in class as my teacher was a male and there were boys in my class. So after about four or so hours I went into the bathroom to remove my tampon, and I couldn't because it hurt so bad to try to get it out. So I walked out of the bathroom ad over to my teacher and lied saying I needed to go to the office because of a headache, then I told the nurse and she had me try to pull it out again and I still couldn't. So then I had to call my dad and tell him what was going on and he came and picked me up from school and took me to my mom's dental office, but because she was working with a patient her best friend comes walking down the hallway while pulling gloves on and takes me into the bathroom and yanks the tampon out.... I will never wear a tampon while even a little bit dry ever again.

My period horror story, which was pretty recent:
I usually use the Always maxi pads (10 hr night pads) and I also wear the kind of shorts u would wear under a dress. I was having a really really busy day and I couldn't even find 5 minutes for myself. So me and this guy met with 3 teachers (our head of year, a university representative and our career guidance counsellor). We were discussing admissions to a business school in Spain. I was on my period already but I couldn't go to change my pad, so I was rlly getting paranoid. Mind u, we were seniors and there was one woman in the room including me. We were there for like an hour and then I got up and realized that I stained the white chair and my beige school pants. I kept repeating this in my head "FML!!!" So I talked to the female teacher in there and I would have stayed to clean it up but I had a rlly important exam right after and she brought the janitor to clean it up and my friend gave me a longer jacket to wear to cover up the stain. THAT FELT LIKE A TRAUMA FOR ME!! Pls tell me I'm not alone

my period horror story that happened today:
•so i slept at my friends house yesterday and i was using her little sisters bedding (it was white) i thought my period was over and it had been light this month so i didn’t expect to leak but i woke up feeling like i’d wet myself, there was tons of blood on her sisters bedding and i had to tell her mom/mum (luckily she said it was ok and that i can’t control my period) but my fav silk pjs and my fav matching victoria secret undies got ruined :(

Well I'm debating sharing this but here I am...I started my period for the 4th time that Friday before school at the mall but it was a Monday or a Tuesday during study hall when I asked to go use the bathroom. The teacher I had was chill and let me go. As I was walking outta my classroom I felt as if something was dripping down my leg...I was out of my class and looked down to see blood dripping down my leg. I started sprinting to the bathroom because the corridor was empty and when I got to the bathroom I changed my pad and I had blood all over my skirt, luckily it was grey and black so you couldn't see it. I also noticed blood on my sock and I couldn't get it out and it was the 3rd lesson of the day...You probably think that's it, but its not. When I got back to class I texted my friend as it was still study hall and told her what happened because she's that close. Later that day during lunch she was walking back from the bathroom and saw DRIED BLOOD on the floor close to her desk and since we are so close she was chill about it but still told me. I freaked out and started going red, the blood ended up being there for the rest of the week and another week. I was so paranoid that entire day that I would leak again.

I was in class and needed to change my pad so I went to my other classroom with my book bag inside. And inside while I was getting a pad I accidentally grabbed two. After I was done changing I went back to my book bag to put the other pad I grabbed up. My male teacher stopped me and asked what I was doing and what I had up my sleeve.
