Same, my Amazon app actually doesn’t let me buy books on there and tells me they’re only available on the kindle store, maybe it’s a US thing (I’m from Spain)
in the uk you can’t do it directly on your kindle either! has to be on the amazon web page on a different device which is so unnecessary 😅
@@heyitsmarta00no, I’m in the US and it’s the same here. But I’m able to click on the little shopping cart on my kindle and buy all of my books through it. It’s odd that Destiny has to do it her way though

You can also group your books into “collections” so when you’re in the mood for a romance they’re all there together or you can put your monthly TBR selections so you can see what you’ve still got to go. Or seasonally. Or video ideas. Possibilities are endless. The more you know. 🌈
If you read the 'A Curse for True Love' extended epilogue of the Barnes Exclusive Edition, it totally seems like she's going to write more in this world. I really hope so does because every single one of her books has been five stars for me!

Oh my gosh, yes! I'm the same way! Even if the book is phenomenal, unless it's super duper short, I can't finish a book in one sitting.

I finished a curse for true love last night and loved it! I gave it a 4.75 stars. I feel like the ending was so rushed; although it was everything I wanted! It was just so rushed and almost too cliché. Like things happened just so there was a good ending 😊

I was exactly the same with ACFTL. I thought it was 5 stars initially. It hit me in the feels. But the next day I woke up and was like I NEEDED more answers, more resolution! 😅
Omg nooooooo! I LOOOVED prison healer! It is slow, more quiet, but everything for a reason and the series gets sooooooo good!
It is not action packed FIRST…. But has so many good insights into her life, her past, the crazy situation in the prison, the friendships she is still able to built, the found family (!!), the horrible work in prison and the virus she needs to understand… the challenges she needs to face and the hope she has to escape this life and be back home again with her family… throwbacks to her father, so many unanswered questions… its just the start of so much more! AND BTW: It is set in a god damn horrible prison where she has spend nearly 10 years so far!! Basically growing up in the worst environment possible !! And she is helpless, depressed, haunted by her trauma, nearly hopeless, and needs to figure out life anyways, and still makes the best out of it! Is not broken from her past and still so kind and good hearted and a GOD DAMN FIGHTER!! Where is the appreciation for that?
For sure it is not a witty happy hippo book first!!! Because that wouldn’t have made any sense in her situation. It is more repetitive/monoton first because that is SIMPLY what life in a horrible prison looks like. You as a reader should feel this way to be connected to her feelings and situation and hope for her to find a chance to escape it all. It sets the tone for everything that follows… THIS SERIES IS A BIG ADVENTURE.
This book doesn’t deserve lower than a four star 🌟 !!!! It might not be the most epic fantasy ever written but is deep, has a great female protagonist with great values and has so much love in between the lines, such great side characters AND such good twists ALL through the series! For a YA fantasy it is well worth your time and I will fight for it!!! ;)
…okay I have a question. this series sounds SO GOOD but is there any romance? for me, books with romance elevate a story when done right. love is so important in life and so I love seeing that translated on the page. if there is romance, will you tell me how present it is?
YES!!! It was great and difficult and sweet again, but this is not why I’m rooting for this series… the friendships are even better. In the series I’ve fallen in love especially with two male characters, have cried and laughed out loud because of them :) but i won’t say more!!

Girl FELT on the falling asleep as soon as I get in bed to read. One minute into reading my kindle I’m snoring, my husband shakes me awake and says okay babe put your kindle on your nightstand and go back to sleep. I don’t even know why I try to read in bed anymore it’s my literal melatonin.😂

This is super random but it's actually good that your bed makes you immediately go to sleep like that, especially if you have trouble sleeping. A lot of people say that when you want to relax/read/listen to music/color but not fall asleep, you should sit in a chair in your room and only get in your bed when you want to sleep. That way, on a night when you're having trouble falling asleep or don't feel particularly tired, when you get in your bed your brain automatically associates it with sleep. The more you know (my sister has been to like 3 doctors for her chronic sleeping problems so. I learn things.)
We need books that have to be read by the end of 2023 and a vlog of these please ❤

I still consider the bonus epilogue in the b&n of acftl as the canon ending because that felt more satisfying and gave an actual closure imo compared to the canon epilogue.

That’s so odd you can’t buy them on your kindle. I can only buy them on the kindle. If I try to get them through the app it only gives me an option to download the sample.
