  • This delicate yet dramatic creature may look like an accessory out of Bridgerton, but it’s actually a glass sponge called a walteria sponge. Its projections are called lateralia and while scientists are unsure of their exact function, they're often found colonized by other associated biodiversity. Here you’ll spot brittle stars and a predatory sea star nestled together with the sponge as well as plenty of other critters nearby.

Is this ousude a vent field? Why does the rock look like it was once lava an was stopped in its tracks....by a flood or something? I'm in ohio an we have glacier grooves,TONS of volcanic rocks in the rivers (no volcanos?) People say a pole shift would put the north pole over the great lakes and iirc south pole over Australia or the southern Atlantic anomaly....or completely reversed but it is a slow movement causing climate change until the last few years? I mean ...we all know how a Grand Canyon forms but that would mean there was only 1 ever full pole reversal in history. We need ice core samples from north an south but making it into a conspiracy everything in Antarctica is darn near classified including google earth sat. Photos. Until Elon drops his...(dont ask how I know. Its WAYYY better and real too.)
