    Don't forget that after installing you can push the seats towards the dashboard to tighten the bunks.:)

    Eindelijk eens een Vlaamse You Tuber en dan nog in het segment van de camper-vans.
    Heel spijtig dat je er mee opgehouden bent . . Groeten .

    This was helpful! Have you found more of an adult size hammock something similar to this that could hold a teen?

      The van is well. No no upgrades yet. Have some ideas. First I’m trying to manage the weight. Bought some new gear. The divorce has taking most of my energy and the continuous lockdown has been very limiting. Mostly looking forward to getting out again.

      A question about the van I don't remember if you have solar panel

    • @vanlossie
      @vanlossie  3 роки тому +3

      Yes, i have the one you can order from adria... but honestly I would go aftermarket. For the battery as well.

      @@vanlossie I added a second battery under the seat and I fitted a solar panel. The fridge is great when you have plenty of battery plus solar.

    Great to see you back! Great video as ever. What stops the poles falling out from each end? Is there some sort of locking tab? I looked on their site and there doesn't seem to be any restraint.

    • @patentedcabbunk1941

      Hi, there is rubber inside each hook and the weight in each bunk pulls the poles against the rubber. With a child in, you cannot move the poles.

    Hi, Great video. I'm looking to buy campervan soon for myself and wife and like your honest videos of this van. The look of this Adria is right for me but I'd be Interested to know what you'd buy if this wasn't available?

    • @vanlossie
      @vanlossie  3 роки тому +3

      Very good question, malibu is excellent quality, but the bathroom is less my thing. Westfalia and hymercar are great in quality and very expensive. Bravia mobile, less known but the quality was sooo good. I think the best thing for you is to look at models that have your ideal layout, for van’s that’s mostly the bathroom and a few you like with slightly different layouts and at some point make a discussion 😊. One thing i do want to say is that I might go for a 6m version if I were to buy again. Mostly due to weight.

    • @neilwr7442
      @neilwr7442 3 роки тому +1

      @@vanlossie thank you so much for reply, much appreciated. Will have a look at the vans you've mentioned. 😉. Also Interesting to hear your comment about the 6m van. I favour 6m van for Manouvrability and ease of parking but I do wonder if I'll regret not being able to lay longitudinally as I can see that being easiest to live with for a longer holiday.

    • @vanlossie
      @vanlossie  3 роки тому +1

      That was indeed the consideration. Depends on you and your partner. Just keep weight in mind. 3,5T is reached a lot quicker then I imagined.

    • @vanlossie
      @vanlossie  3 роки тому +2

      Maneuverability is not that much different because the 6m and the 6.36m version have exactly the same wheelbase/turning circle. Only the 5m40 vans have a shorter wheelbase. Parking is slightly better. Most spaces are 6m.

    • @neilwr7442
      @neilwr7442 3 роки тому

      @@vanlossie Yeah, I think it's the everyday parking that's going to be the deciding factor😅, that and the fact I want my wife to feel comfortable driving the beast 🤣. I'm keeping an open mind until we've actually had the opportunity to set foot inside one as I don't think there's much between them in terms of price. Thanks again for your time. Your videos and responses are very much appreciated👍, take care.

      Hi, they can be made wider and flatter by using the seat controls. This is what is unique about Patented Cabbunk. Sorry, he missed this point in the video. The top bunk could have been raised and widened by using the seat back control wheel. ua-cam.com/video/p2nkyGNI_hg/v-deo.html

    Your son didn’t seem to really love it. He said it was cramped and it looked cramped. He seemed to only say he liked it when coaxed. Even your daughter said it was narrow, and the ads show even older children. Any complaint they had, you said, “That’s alright...” and redirected them.
    I just wonder how long they’ll sleep in it before refusing to anymore, based on all of that. Your review was that it was good. Theirs, not so much.

    • @cabbunk9906

      HI, the system was not quite tightened as we recommend using the seat reclining 'wheels'. This will widen each bunk and also lift the top bunk away from the lower bunk. Also, we always recommend that the 'littler one' sleeps in the lower bed. We have to wake our granddaughters in the mornings as they sleep so well.....
