🧗I remember earlier this year you shared how it was your goal to really invest in watering and keeping up with your moss poles Fern! It looks like you have really accomplisued your goal and that many of your plants are very happily climbing. Congratulations.
Oh man I love the smell of moss too. It's my favorite thing about opening my cabinet is the smell of the moss, smells like the jungle in there ...Or what I imagine the jungle to smell like. 😉 Gotta say too, I love your hair straighted, it looks gorge! ✌💛🌱🧗♂️
i just started the video but OMG YOUR SHIRT i lovelovelove it. i love dramatic ass begonias so much! excited for the video, i love moss poles as well but dread the day i have to extend them all so this video will be good future inspo ❤
You made the moss pole process look so easy. You’re a moss pole pro when you can put together 3 different moss poles so smoothly. Thanks for sharing Fern!
About the majestic: if you don't want to cut it, you could just keep on extending the poles and mount them on the wall (with a hook behind it and a string around the pole, so you can't see it) So it looks a bit like the plant ist growing up the wall.
Do like Sidney plant guy! 😍 Cut the majestic in the middle of the four poles and then pot up the “top cut” with the two top poles and then reextend! Since there is roots in the top poles I think it will keep it’s leaf size well and just keep growing bigger 🙈🙈🙈❤
Made it to the end 🧗♀️. My favourite is definitely the Verrucosum 😍😍. I love love the darker color coming in on them. It’s a stunner. 2nd fav would be the gigas:). Also, I appreciate that you’ve used a couple different type of poles so I could see how easy each type is to maneuver. I also have to agree that poles in terracotta are so unstable. I thought it was just mine that was unstable. I will definitely think about moving mine to plastic or ceramic. Thanks for all your wonderful content Fern! Absolute #1 planty UA-camr 💚
I’ve done the wire poles first go around. I bought 12x24” acetate sheets to line the back inside and keep moisture in. They stack fabulously you just put one zip tie in every 1/2 inch box. Home Depot has black 50 feet by 24” for 20$ .
Hey Fern, I’ve been cutting my plant Velcro in half to make it last longer. It works just as well. I’d say extend it another time and see if it’ll work with a stake at the back. If it works it’ll be awesome!
Hour long!! I LOVE! you're such a cool person from your jewellery, tattoos, and personality! you make my day whenever you upload! 💚 (love your Etah love rings! you deserve a sponsorship from them!)
🧗♀I really love your videos. Like I am just working and listening to you, and when nobody is watching I go for a little sneak peak 😶🌫 to then just really watch it again at home to really see the proces 😅 Everything about you and your videos is just so soothing 🥰
I'm really enjoying these longer videos from you, where I can do my own chores plant or not and just listen to your lovely voice 😍 Absolutely love your content would LOVE to see some more longer videos from you!! 🧗♂️
The Majestic is my favorite. It’s just so huge and beautiful with that silver speckling. 🤩 love these longer videos. Well I love all your videos but I especially appreciate the long ones.
I have made some wire poles and added plastic on the inside (only back side so it prevents drying out). I used a roll of acrylic cake collar. Gives the stability of wire and some benefits of a plastic back. And is transparent.
I'm going to start showing my small plants your big plants so they can get excited about their future 😂 It must feel so good to get all of that done, 10 poles is a lot! & They all look so so happy 💚 those little fenistrations! 😍
If you want more stability on long moss poles you can always take a long bamboo stick or green garden stick and gently push it through all the moss poles. You won’t see it as much but it gives the plant a sturdy backbone.
Hahaha our nails match 💜 I also love how it smells to... like beautiful mother nature, being in the middle of the woods. Sometimes I open my prop boxes just to smell it lol
Hi … learning a lot from you .. thank you … side note.. I love your hair and makeup … very beautiful … thank you for working hard for us and putting out tons and tons of content !
I'm really glad for this video, because I'm new to growing plants on moss poles and now I know not to fill my poles all the way to the top. Thank you for always teach me something new 😊
You are killing it girl! So proud , can I just say your happiness is radiating through the screen!!! I’m so proud of you for getting everything you’ve wanted 🎉❤
The smell of a good quality sphag is great!!! Nothing compares to it and that’s how I know without even going through it and seeing sticky and leaves and crap that it’s a good moss. I grabbed the one you shared that’s flat it’s on its way , I think it’s the New Zealand one maybe. The $4 moss at my lowes in the brick is so bad :/
OMG your vanilla orchid! It is looking so good! and I love that is is doing so well on the tree fern totem, that's exactly what I am putting mine on :') I gotta say I think the first ep noid is my favorite! I love the sheen to it. Petition for the next shirt to just say "nice" on it. I think you said it after every pole. and I loved it!🧗♀
Hi Fern. Moss polling is a labour of love, but the result is well worth it. All your plants look so happy and healthy. The taller they grow the bigger the leaves. I look forward to seeing their progress. Your philodendron Majestic is doing so well. I say as it grows, put on another pole. Get those leaves as big as they can get!!! I got ants on some of my plants. I had to completely repot. They were living in the soil. 💚🪴💚 (🤔 hmmm!!! what does the rock climber emojii look like?)
Okay, I have been so leery of philodendrons and alocasias, because they are not considered pet safe. But everyone that has them, seems to have pets. I cannot hold out any longer. These plants are just stunning. I have a Dieffenbachia that I keep isolated and off the floor, and haven't had any issues with the dogs and cats, so I'm diving in. I really enjoy your videos, your excitement is contagious. And you are channeling Taylor Swift in this video, you are adorable, as always.
Really fun video to watch. But was most interested in watching you extend your Monstera esqueleto since I also bought some Rousseau moss piles and wondered how they where extended 🧗♀️
Omg I love all of the plants, but love the majestic and it's silver 🤩 and one of my faves are the skeleton key. I have just chopped my own up to make it fuller 🌿🤩 and I love the smell of the good spagnum moss 😜🧗🏼♂️
🧗♀️ also of all of them the burle marx varigata is one of my faves I love how chaotic she looks lol it's like having both the regular green and the varigated one all in one Also I love love love your shirt
🧗♀️LOVE YOUR CONTENT FERN THANK YOU FOR ALL THE PLANTY VEGAN VIBES AHH 🥰🤤 been watching for years and I'm so happy your channel entered my life. so lucky to be alive during this era
A lovely long video 🤩😍 Suggestion for your majestic: If possible, cut the plant where there is roots, in a place where the pole can be separated - then repot the whole plant and place the two poles next to each other to make it wider- then it would also be more stable, when you start extending them again, as they can support each other 👌🏼
🧗♀️ahahahahhaaa Rick climbing 😂that was a marathon. Thanks! I’m new to growing plants so it was helpful to see you build the poles. I want to get a Philodendron Splendid but am kind of intimidated by the required care. I don’t have a cabinet either so we’ll see how it goes💜
🧗♀️ I loved this🥰 I’m out in my balcony in Florida watering my poles so this was perfect! These poles dry out soooo fast in this late summer Florida heat and it feels like another job lately so it always helps having your videos playing while I water :)
Speaking of smells….my absolute favorite smell is wet soil! Like after it rains or when I water my plants. It smells so fresh! I’m weird lol and I’ve never noticed the moss smell because I was probably too busy basking in the smell of the soil 😊🥰 💜 Tamara
Oh and I just finished so I wanted to say the majestic is definitely my fave! It has all the things I love! Big pillowy leaves, silver variegation, easy (I think) care, just beautiful! Aaaand I am loving the hair today! Did you get a cut? You’re always beautiful but I love the hair today! 💜✨
Gosh one more thing I forgot. Diamotaceous earth works to get rid of ants but doesn’t work after it gets wet. It is food and pet safe. I’m not sure if it would hurt the beneficials you have there though.
I always love your vids!!! My favorite plant from this vid is your philodendron Verrucosum, the new leaf is just fabulous!!! 💚🌱. About your splendid, it might have mites? Mine had tiny transparent ones biting on it and it started doing the same thing with the sweet sap. I hope you are doing great!! 🌱☺️
Love your videos ♥️ your majestic is giving me ideas for my taller plants that are getting unwieldy ... Like what if you punched a hole in the top of the pole and put a command hook on the wall behind it and hooked it on 🤔
Keep an eye on the glorious…ants will sometimes bring mealies to the plant so they can feed on the “dew” that plants create in response to the mealies feeding. Super annoying 😬We had a lot of ants around my former house and I found that the liquid baits that they eat and take back to the colonies always worked best for me, you just have to be careful to keep them away from pets. The plants are looking awesome! 🧗♀️
I'd love to see you try the chop and extent method for your majestic. the Sydney plant guy uses this method for his plants that can't be extended anymore.... I've seen him report the top section back in with the bottom cut and just have 2 poles side by side in the same pot.....Otherwise you could keep extending and just shove a green plastic coated plant stake into the back of the pole to add sturdiness. 😊
I would "chop and drop" the top section of the Majestic and propogate the bottom half nodes. That is the only way to keep it manageable while still keeping top cut and large leaves.
🧗♀ I have the same spots you have on your gloriosum but they are on my el choco red and pastazanum. I have been trying to figure it out. I though all kinds of usual pest but didn't match. Guttation was another thought, I'm hopeful the new leaves will do better. I enjoy your videos, thank you!
For the first, I'd just keep adding more extensions. Like you said you can stabilize with a garden pole. Gorgeous plant!! They seem to like your new house :)
I have to chop and extend my Majestic too, but I’m so nervous! I haven’t really air layered it, but it does have a ton of roots in the pole so I’m thinking about just going for it😅
You should try PVC Pipe poles! If you are having issues with the growthiccly ones, they are a super sturdy alternative and extendable with the normal pvc connectors! (Killthisplant did a video on them) the only downside is they are not transparent unfortunately unless you find clear PVC pipes. I love your videos by the way and have been watching for years 🙌

I could cry 😭❤️ over an hour long, and moss pole related?! Absolutely perfect 🥰 I can’t wait ☺️
Enjoyyyy 💚💚💚

TEN POLES?! Omg you're killing not only the content but the plant care 🎉
I love your hair, so pretty and healthy and love the style!
Oh man I love the smell of moss too. It's my favorite thing about opening my cabinet is the smell of the moss, smells like the jungle in there ...Or what I imagine the jungle to smell like. 😉 Gotta say too, I love your hair straighted, it looks gorge! ✌💛🌱🧗♂️
I am also getting sooooo many overdue plant chores done tonight! Feels great! Thanks for the company 🧗
Really enjoying the music, you used to use it a lot in your older videos! Nostalgia❤️
I know right! I was thinking that when I was editing too
i just started the video but OMG YOUR SHIRT i lovelovelove it. i love dramatic ass begonias so much! excited for the video, i love moss poles as well but dread the day i have to extend them all so this video will be good future inspo ❤
Great extensions, you have it under control now!and the plants are beautiful!
💚🌱🌵☘️💚
Fern tackling her plant chores like 🧗♀️💚
Love those videos in general, but I think those themed ones especially 🥰
What i love about the idea of the front "buckles" on those moss poles is that you can remove plants/cuttings more easily if they are rooted intp pole!
I love the majestic plant among all of them. I love this video. hopefully more of these next. thank you!
You made the moss pole process look so easy. You’re a moss pole pro when you can put together 3 different moss poles so smoothly. Thanks for sharing Fern!
🧗🏼♀️ Watching this in bed on Sunday morning with a cup of coffee and my knitting was the absolute perfect way to start the end of a long workweek🙏🏻🫶🏻
About the majestic: if you don't want to cut it, you could just keep on extending the poles and mount them on the wall (with a hook behind it and a string around the pole, so you can't see it) So it looks a bit like the plant ist growing up the wall.
🧗🏻♀️Thanks for the long video to enjoy my Friday am and coffee!

Yes I cut mine in half as well. It holds on really well! 😊

🧗♀I really love your videos. Like I am just working and listening to you, and when nobody is watching I go for a little sneak peak 😶🌫 to then just really watch it again at home to really see the proces 😅 Everything about you and your videos is just so soothing 🥰
I have to say I think I love the majestic the most! You’re making me want one!
I'm really enjoying these longer videos from you, where I can do my own chores plant or not and just listen to your lovely voice 😍 Absolutely love your content would LOVE to see some more longer videos from you!! 🧗♂️
🧗I loved your pile extendion video! I always learn so much from watching yout videos. Thank you so much💕
I love moss pole videos for some reason - haha. I've been loving your long videos recently! So happy you're settled into your own house now :)
That moss looks amazing! Can't wait for skeleton key to size up! 🧗♀️
Right?! Me too 😍 its going to looks SOO GOOD
🧗 verru. I'd say is my fav. Strong red color and fuzzy petiole on that new leaf ❤
I loved watching this video so much. The skeleton key is my fave. The first NOID is pretty cool too.
The Majestic is my favorite. It’s just so huge and beautiful with that silver speckling. 🤩 love these longer videos. Well I love all your videos but I especially appreciate the long ones.

GOOD IDEA
so smart! need to do that if I end up making wire poles - thank you!
I absolutely love your philo collection. I think of what you had today, your Majestic is probably my favorite.
I'm going to start showing my small plants your big plants so they can get excited about their future 😂
It must feel so good to get all of that done, 10 poles is a lot! & They all look so so happy 💚 those little fenistrations! 😍
Also shout out to the nail polish! 👀💙💚
If you want more stability on long moss poles you can always take a long bamboo stick or green garden stick and gently push it through all the moss poles. You won’t see it as much but it gives the plant a sturdy backbone.
Gigas is my favorite!!! Looking very good!
I put a bamboo or dowel rod down the back of the moss poles. You can even attach to the back, too
I know the moss smell you are talking about. I describe it kinda like burlap. I absolutely ❤it! I notice it when I water my jar terrariums the most.
Thanks for watching 😊
Amazing. You got so many done and it seemed so simple.
FERN BABYYYY! I almost fell out my damn chair when I saw this was an hour long. I think I can speak on everyone THANK YOU😍
Same!!!!
I need to make some more moss poles as well 😅🧗♀️
Nice poles and moss for great result on your plant growth

My favorite plant in the video is the glorious, I love mine and they are such a fabulous hybrid!
Omg I love all of the plants, but love the majestic and it's silver 🤩 and one of my faves are the skeleton key. I have just chopped my own up to make it fuller 🌿🤩 and I love the smell of the good spagnum moss 😜🧗🏼♂️

🧗 loved the chill vibes. 🌿🐜

The philodendron verrucosum is definitely my favourite 😍😍. This video has just made me want to repot and put mine on a moss pole pronto ❤ 🧗♀️
🧗🏽♀️ loved the length of this video!
Love your videos ♥️ your majestic is giving me ideas for my taller plants that are getting unwieldy ... Like what if you punched a hole in the top of the pole and put a command hook on the wall behind it and hooked it on 🤔
🧗♀️ love all your videos Fern! ❤
Your vidéo came out at the perfect time as i'm trying to design my first clear Moss pole ! 💚 🧗♀️
🧗♂️ looove the gigas it's looking so dark and velvety 😍
I can’t wait until my Majestic gets as big as yours 😍😍
I love this long video it was great plant always looking beautiful 🧗♀️
I’m so excited! This gives me so much motivation!! ❤❤❤ love doing chores with you ❤😊😊😊
🧗Perfect timing for this video! I have to extend one of my moss pole setups on my campo. 😊
🧗♀️ great job on extending sooo many moss poles! 💪🏻 the glorious is my favourite - mine’s only single stem but so far so good 🤞🏻💚
🧗I should also extend some of my poles. Thanks for the inspiration! 🤗
Keep an eye on the glorious…ants will sometimes bring mealies to the plant so they can feed on the “dew” that plants create in response to the mealies feeding. I would "chop and drop" the top section of the Majestic and propogate the bottom half nodes. That is the only way to keep it manageable while still keeping top cut and large leaves.
🧗 And my favorite one was philodendron majestic for sure! Such a beauty 💜🌿
🧗🏼♀️you have inspired me to up my moss pole game big time! Also, your hair and make up is giving Taylor Swift - so pretty! 🤍
🧗♀️ I love your philo majestic, can’t wait for mine to be that big someday
🧗♀️🧗♀️ omg your verrucosum is GOALS, one of my all time FAVES
keep going keep growing, babes 💜💜
🧗♀ I have the same spots you have on your gloriosum but they are on my el choco red and pastazanum. I have been trying to figure it out. I though all kinds of usual pest but didn't match. Guttation was another thought, I'm hopeful the new leaves will do better. I enjoy your videos, thank you!
🧗🏻♀️I love watching your videos so much!
Thank you so much!!
For the first, I'd just keep adding more extensions. Like you said you can stabilize with a garden pole. Gorgeous plant!! They seem to like your new house :)

🧗♀️ love the splendid!
YOUR HAIR IS AMAZING ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Such a long and lovely vid 🥰 I think the verrucosum was my fave!
Also, audibly gasped when you said you're liking terracotta less 😂
You should try PVC Pipe poles! If you are having issues with the growthiccly ones, they are a super sturdy alternative and extendable with the normal pvc connectors! (Killthisplant did a video on them) the only downside is they are not transparent unfortunately unless you find clear PVC pipes.
I love your videos by the way and have been watching for years 🙌
I'll look into it! My experience with them though is that they can be unstable/heavy and lean :(
