This is the first time I watched the Human Centipede... well “Watch” is the wrong word since not only was it cut apart for the reactions but because I was bleaching my eyes the whole time.

I argue the girl alive in the middle at the end had a good shot. She can just get some glass and cut the stitches(or the other guy's flesh) off her face, and then do the same to the other side.

I hate movies like this that claim/identify as a horror movie, but ends up just being just gross stuff. I came to get spooked, not to throw up. I get that body horror is a subgenre, I just don't like when horror movies don't say they're body horror and proceed to make people vomit.
Edit: Yes I know body horror is a thing, but I feel like instead of just saying "it's horror", we should specify what kind.
Its like those mangas that are just gross as hell but don't tell something interesting or really scary. At least these mangas can give some inspiration of drawing style maybe?

If you want a way to actually scare yourself with this movie... put yourself in their position as the film plays... it’s honestly the only part that truly terrifies me.
I mean, in a horror movie you can do both, but as you say: you came to get spooked, either because of the situation, the scenes, or the atmosphere,etc, so you can't miss the fear, that's the most obvious point. I think it could've been something better, like, if you are taking a gross concept already, you can at least make the story more interesting or put effort in something else, but what can we do now

On a positive note, there was a lot of effort to make the cast as comfortable as possible. They were given massages regularly after filming, since they had to crawl around and that's rough of the back and limbs. So at least Tom Six has that going for him?
Hey that’s better than some others who basically tortured their cast. Good on him.
This is the only thing I like about this movie.

- tripping when running away
- black and or asian person always dies

I don't even get how, even in the obscure would-be logic of this ... film ... the cr*p eating is supposed to work. Like, you poop out literal waste. That doesn't work like water in urin or something. No recycling possible, or am I wrong. This stuff is deprived of nutrients and minerals, nothing to get from that, or is it? Wouldn't that just mean that the guy would have two dead tails after a few days? (because they cannot drink as well) I'm not a doctor, but evil scientist guy should kinda... take that into account? But on the other hand I don't want to watch that thing of a film to find out if he considered that in his evil scientist monologue.

its a boring movie but i can handle this stuff no issue....as long i dont see organs manipulated by doctors i wont tears my eyes out(i feel sick whenever they show organs on tv even if just for medical purposes)....with this said...this movie is never gonna be on my watch list due to it being boring XD.....if had been shown during a school class years back i would have just ignored it to some fail drawings on paper......otherwise pretty much would have to force me to watch something boring or put a leet prize on the hook line XD

At one point they (TW Human Modification) castrate a guy, and make it so that they can remove ppl from the centipede once they serve their sentence. Very fucked up :))))!

I'm so glad you watched this for me. I could never have seen this myself, but heard so many crazy things about this movie that I had to watch when you gave me the opportunity to watch a summary.

I feel like that's why I love more classic horror/psychological thriller. Things like Psycho, The Shining, and Silence of the Lambs. They all have a degree of overt violence, but the fear is way more in the direction, tone, writing, acting choices, sets, music and cinematography. When the quality is high, a movie doesn't need to resort to cheap tactics.
It's not even well done disturbing and disgusting, it's just nasty to be nasty. It makes me think of the movie martyr which is vile and I would never watch it again but it is a good movie. This is just a bad movie lol
the second one makes this looks like a Kids Friendly movie....

totally agree even though some scary movies are possible this is completely possible and someone who was messed u enough could make it happen
the selling point back then was it was scientifically accurate. the confidence in that claim tho...
@@allier1867 Six actually asked a real surgeon to help on the movie to be as accurate as possible for body horror. The surgeon refused at first, because he found the premise disgusting, but a few days later he came back and got on board anyway

@@allier1867 they don’t need to be biologically compatible to be stitched together for a few days and then die... it’s very simple surgery and doesn’t really work even in the movie
I’ve never been more disgusted in my entire life. And this was edited severely. I needed more funny edits to digest this I applause your strength In finishing this disgusting mess. Because I could not even... finish this video. Just gonna go watch something like I dunno Cinderella. Something that gives me some will to live.

I feel the first human centipede was more psychological the 2nd one is just plain disgusting.
There's actually a lot of psychology in the second one as well. There are even theories of how much of it is a dream and his dealing with his abusive household and arrested development. Sure, it's gross and even absurdly so, but Laurence R. Harvey's performance really makes the film as interesting. The whole violence part could have been dwindled down by a lot and still keep the gross effect.
And the third one was just a bad comedy. The quality just dips. So sad...
i think is the other way around...2 is the worst well made awful disgusting aproach of the concept...1 was an experiment...3 never could get into it due to the comedic tone...the first two at least you could see effort...disgusting...but effort....

Even just hearing descriptions of this film makes me feel sick. Why was this film ever allowed to be made? Why did the actors agree to it?
I have a phobia of Centipedes in real life and even I would rather watch one running around me in my house than sit through this movie!

@@Wraiven22 yeah me too. Also when I was little (about 5 years old or so), I saw a huntsman spider in my basement (that somehow went away hours later) and my parents still to this day don't believe me!
My toddler found a centipede on the floor right next to where I was sitting the other day. I threw him on my bed, while I looked for a shoe. Luckily the centipede hid in a washcloth so I could easily kill it. I did not sleep well that night.

It’s essentially a humanoid monster created by a science experiment, that’s like where it gets its shock value from. That these normal people are forced out of their humanity as their minds drift away from what makes one ‘human’ and towards that of a crazed feral animal after a long enough time.

i watched this movie when i was 13 at my best friend’s house in the middle of the night and it genuinely terrified me. i dont even remember if we finished it because i was really scared
I'm from Germany and it's still common to not have signal in some regions. Especially when you're living somewhere in the countryside.
