- LEGO Star Wars has some of the most consistantly accurate and detailed minifigures, however sometimes a few slip through that could be even better with a few small changes, or alternate LEGO pieces. Here's how to upgrade your minifigures to make them the best they can be!

for the clone pilot, there is actually a newer version with the movie style that they did in 2014-15, and it came in the republic gunship microfighter. and then you can swap out the legs with the newest ones.

It always bothered me that Cara Dune didn't get arm printing for that Rebel stripes insignia. I still like the figure though and bought her just to put on display in my Razor Crest. I think the hair they chose is fine enough. The real area that needs a redesign is the giant machine gun she has in the show looks nothing like the slightly modified rifle the LEGO figure has.
you can kinda make cara dunes gun. get a "tommygun" piece from March Harriet (batman movie CMF) and add a few more random spare parts to it. That's what I did to get the shaping of her big gun!
I think she is in two of the sets i have , one of which i haven't built yet. One is the Raider AT ST which is a great looking set and the other is the Imperial Light Cruiser which i have 2 of new in box.

I wish they could figure out a way to make the arms/hands interchangeable without hurting the joints

you can swap the hands but the arms are hard and hurt your fingers sometimes (not to mention cracks)

The fact that ep 2 obi wan didn't use the old luke hair is so baffling to me, its a perfect fit!
Aren't those hair pieces, like outdated and not used anymore?

Agreed, it's an improvement that makes the figure that much better. Now I can picture him betraying Obi Wan
@@Timmymantwo I actually have a theory he missed instead of hitting Obi Wan because he was slowly overriding the control in that chip thing because of his friendship with Obi Wan.
@@GPS_DS It would be nice if so but he didn't take the shot so I assume it was the clone firing partly resisted and in Legends Cody ends up training the next generation of Stormtroopers
I didn't even know those dual moulded arms were around and damn do they look unreal. For Ashoka I'd also swap her head tails out for the og CW head tails as they're more accurate
id argue the included headtails are better than the clone wars one, and the rebels one is even better. the cw ones just feel too short, and ahsoka doesnt have the triangle jewelry

Always good to get a new Fixing The Figures video. Obi Wan(and Cody) is definitely the best imo. I hate that Prince of Persia hair at this point lol. It’s reused so much. I would’ve far prefer the Luke/Loki hair, but I think the Kenobi show hairpiece is a perfect second

Personally think the brick costume guy’s hair is a better fit but those two choices are also pretty good

For Boba Fett I like swapping the sand green helmet for the helmet/jetpack piece that came with the first few Boba Fett figures. It's a darker green, so it matches better.
For the Anakin you sould give him the hair that comes with the green brickman mini figure

Rebels Ashoka doesn’t actually have blue lightsabers; they are more of a really light gray. Not as good as the clear ones you selected, but I do think they look pretty good.
Great mod to clone pilot good idea using printed clone legs from battle pack!
I personally used the orange Han Solo hair piece to make my attack of the clones obi wan better
I never minded the Padawan braid in the Prequel Trilogy.
I am very jealous I have been trying to get a hold of the Clone Packs since they were announced. (and the after market is over priced in the U.S, $30 sealed for one!!)

This right here- the new Valkyrie hair works way better on the Moses Ingram character than the old one.
Whenever I take minifigure arms off, to try and keep the figure as prestine as I can, I take the hands out first, then hold tightly to the torso to try and stop cracking from happening.
On episode 2 anakin you could use the hair from the series 7 daredevil minifigure, it looks good on him
AotC Anakin needs SPIKY hair. Not too crazy but... yeah, spikes! (I used Anakin's hair for my figbarf Fenn Rau)

The classic boba fett helmet and jetpack piece works really well on the new one
For Ahsoka’s lightsabers, additionally you could use Asajj Ventress’ hilts for slightly more accurate hilts.
I don’t have a palpatine hologram piece but I do have a Princess Leia version of it from the obi wans hut set which I think works just fine
I saw a black version of han solo/ron weisley's hair on Hunter and it looked perfect
The lego Monkie kid haircut with the red headband looks good on hunter as well
The new obi-wan hair piece would work well for Peter Pettigrew
The Cara Dune hair is a really impressive upgrade for accuracy!
I still feel that the perfect hairpiece for Episode II Anakin at the moment is the mullet hair piece, just get rid of the hair in the back and you got a pretty solid piece that matches how his hair looks in attack of the clones.

Those clear bar pieces would work well with some BrickTactical hilts they make her Rebels/Mandolorian ones

I always thought Hunter would be best suited with a recolored Ninjago Hair/Bandana piece. It would look SO good!

What I found working for hunter is coles hair piece from the ninjago movie style of sets
Ok the rat tail as you call it is actually called a braid and it is used to show if youre a padawan or a master if a jedi does not have hair they may have a necklace or something like that

The mullet piece used on obi wan could go well with that scene because it was raining and his hair was kinda slicked back
9:38 grab a pair of Asajj Ventress saber hilts, and it captures the curved nature of Ahsoka's rebels sabers better imo

The like bed head or whatever it's called would be a great choice for anakin in AotC.
I bought the Obi Wan and Anakin fight and the Obi Wan star fighter and did the same thing with the hair
You know that the actual rebels Ahsoka came with frosted white lightsaber blades right? So that Ahsoka upgrade was kind of useless. The other mini figures are cool though
also for obi-wan could use obi-wan hair piece from set 75334 , though now kinda want 2nd obi-wan hair piece and some of those trans clear bar 4L parts for my ahsoka...
I do like the changes you suggested for the figures, however, I'm not a fan of the hair suggestions you gave to anakin. I think they make his hair look a bit too messy and out of place. I do think the hair we currently have looks strange but I'm mostly fine with it, given that Anakin's hair was very short in that movie.
I wanna stress this isn't me being negative, I'm just giving my personal thoughts. Great video, love to see more.

In a recent lego short. Hunter was using a black han solo hair piece. Could it be a hint at what's to come?
Have you ever tried to build a yellow lightsaber for the Rise of Skywalker Rey minifigure (set 75284, 75279 or 75250)? It's not easy to do, since the clear yellow rod needed for the lightsaber blade was only made in one set: DC Superheroes Green Lantern vs Sinestro from 2015 (set 73025) as part of Sinestro's yellow staff.

I think you should’ve done ROTS Anakin as well, since the official fig used the early clone wars hair piece. I replaced my fig with a hairpiece I found at the pick a minifigure kiosk at the Lego store. I wish I knew the exactly #, but it looks waaayy better.

another great hair piece imo for anakin is the mullet. Just shave the back and you got a pretty actually piece.

I would add Newt Scammander's hair to Anakin and to Ep2 Obi Wan Ron CMF1's hair.
If you take the arms back out of the Cody figure you could coat them in a thin layer of super glue over and over again until it's you thing it's good I've done this with model kits
For hunter, I would actually recommend using Sirius black’s hair

The lego ninjago island Lloyd hair in red and black whould be perfect for hunter
The side tussle is way better and looks a LOT better in episode 2 Anakin and another hair piece that also works and looks very good is the hair spiked hairpiece, and also i also don’t like LEGO’s decisión of that hairpiece for Anakin

Funny enough, the original Reva's hairpiece is also the one used for Valkyrie.
