1:05 I believe the smoother hair works in this case because he was in Carbonite and when he came out of it, his hair was definitely more smooth and stuck down to his head.
I love all of them! However why I do think padme needed a diff face that face makes her look like a 8 yr old and doesn’t do her justice! Hopefully we get a Acureate one this year!
Giving R2 a third leg used to be significantly easier with the old torso piece where you could just put in a 1/2 technic pin in there directly onto the cheese slope. Now though, it kinda seems a bit too long.
Damn! I knew something was up when I tried this again recently. I remember being able to do this just fine as a kid. Now I know why it doesn't work anymore. They should honestly update the R2 torso again so that it has a single stud in the center at the top, so that he can swivel his head, and remove the axle hole on the inside, so that you can put the half pin with the stud and the white cheese slope on the bottom.
We need that same LEGO® 4274194 - 4274 - Technic, Pin 1/2 but with a ridged axel peice to fit in the bottom hole of the R2D2! Or, yes, just the older holed body.
I don’t think the old helmet works then the newer one and I actually think putting the old one looks worse but the rest of the customs are really good and for Ashoka use the old headtail piece if you have it because I think it looks better
For R2’s third leg, you need an early version of the body. They didn’t have the axle fitters inside, just a plain peghole style. A 1/2 technic pin with stud and a cheese slope then fits perfectly.
“The legs don’t make her look the same age as Anakin.” That’s because she isn’t in The Phantom Menace, lol. These are solid fixes, though, the Padme is probably the only one I have the resources to do, though.
@@TenkoVA oh I can make a tutorial I made him without armor and I used Owen Grady’s head from Jurassic world with the rebel pilot guys hair from rogue one
10:30 They made a PERFECT Anakin in the 2014 ROTS sets. Both him and Obi Wan were perfect, color wise they were intresting and the lining was unique. Anakin also had a double sided face with both tired, heavy eyes- and burning yellow sith eyes. Really wish I didn't miss out on that when I was a kid.
Holly, I really appreciate your videos, and watch them 5times a day. Another change for bescar Mando is giving him Pre Visla's jetpack. This matches the lighter helmet and looks fantastic. Keep up the good work 👍
I think minisuperheroestoday actually used the lipstick piece instead of that claw piece and it worked perfectly. Just another idea if you want a more stable third leg on r2
Could you possibly elaborate on this? I looked it up and couldn't find the piece you were referring to. For ages I've used a cheese wedge, stud w/ hole, and a lipstick piece and it always looks too long. Thanks in advance!
Hmmm nah. Old Obi Wan and Han Solo are definitely downgrades here. Tarkin's hair doesn't work for Alec Guinness. The current one is the closest. It needed a new molde to be accurate. As for Han Solo, that piece only looks like the stage photos and that garbage Solo film version. For an OG Harrison Ford, I think the Barty Crouch Jr./James Potter hair from the Harry Potter CMF works better.
In 6:41 with the figure if I was in charge I'd keep the helmet that way cause to me it's good with lighting in the show type of feeling (instead just give him a silver jetpack because at the time of getting the jetpack he had the beskar full and full
one way to do r2s third leg I came up with is inserting a light bluish gray action pose piece attached to a white 1x1 square tile, its so simple and good looking I’m completely astonished nobody else has used it
They have been using a grey caps for mando even though he has a brown one, so I replaced it with a cape from th e mandalorian battle pack and it looks way better
Wait, the Han Solo from 2016 Desert Skiff Escape set has the modern hairpiece, so technically you are repeating the same thing LEGO did. Also, I think the legs from Betrayal On Cloud City would work well for the character, but they cost a fortune.
It’s weird how Lego went all out for episode 8 and 9 but with the mandalorain and book of boba they practically went the cheap way out for them 😂. They really do the most to save money sometimes
For the R2D2 3rd leg, Lego needs to make a new Technic peice. Basically just the LEGO® 4274194 - 4274 - Technic, Pin 1/2 but instead of the round Pin at the bottom, make it a ridged axle, it would fit perfectly in the bottom hole of R2D2, and the cheese slope would fit on the 1/2 top part.
There's a hair piece you can us for Ahsoka from the Corucant Police Gunship set 75046 the hairpiece is not as long but it doesn't have the crown print on it
You should of changed mando’s hands. Cause in the show he has these gloves that are part black and part like a tan orange. And that tan orange color you can get from the Star Wars Rebel series, I forgot her name though. But she is one of main characters and green
For ahsoka there is a custom made figure for her which has the perfect lekku including the silver ‘crown’. I did a review of the figure on my channel for people who want to see it :)
If a Star Wars CMF ever happened, what would your ideal figures be? For me, I'd definitely need a Revenge of the Sith Padme (with the green dress), a Satine Kryze, a Mother Talzin, and an Episode 9 Palpatine, off the top of my head.
I can agree with some of these changes mainly Ep. III burnt Anakin & Obi-Wan, and then some I can’t get. Maybe it’s cause I primarily collect SW and are used to the way they things are but also some I think are accurate the way they are anyways

I believe the smoother hair works in this case because he was in Carbonite and when he came out of it, his hair was definitely more smooth and stuck down to his head.
I agree, his hair wasn't all over the place like with the new hair
Agreed, the messy short hair would work better.
The one she was making was Han seconds before being lowered to The carbonite gas freezer.
I love all of them! However why I do think padme needed a diff face that face makes her look like a 8 yr old and doesn’t do her justice! Hopefully we get a Acureate one this year!
14 and not 8
We are not gonna get acurate one....
Hopefully we get a Nubial Royal Starship with all shiny pieces, thats one of the sets I (and I’m sure many other) have wanted for ever

I didn’t even know they updated the torso!
They changed his torso?
@@larniieplayz6285 Yeah, years ago. The bottom used to not have an axle hole, now it does, so you can't use the little technic half pin anymore.

In case people are wondering, the legs used to replace the Han Solo legs are from the Lucy minifigure in the Lego Movie 2 sets.
8:12 if you don’t find the legs in Build a Minifig, they are Wildstyle’s from Lego Movie 2
R2 having a third foot has to happen!! It'd be a great way of mixing up a classic and very common figure
These are my favorite videos keep doing more customs holly I love them!
The legs that Holly gave Han Solo at 8:28 are from the Lego movie 2 wild style mini figure, for those who are interested
Good vid I agree with most of them although the mando doesn’t look very good in my opinion but good vid!

Very nice! Mando would also profit from dual molded arms and legs, black i‘d say. Wouldn‘t necessarily be more accurate, but it‘d look good!
For the ahsoka Minifigure, I just bought a knockoff on aliexpress and used the lekku on the official one, which makes it look much better!
Cool!

8:40 use the Empire Leia face for Padme Naberrie!
For the rt-d2, I saw somewhere that you can use a lipstick piece to stick the wedge into the bottom of it
The Dual bar piece works perfectly
8:06 the pants you used for Han Solo are Wiledstyle/Lucy's pants from The Lego Movie 2
I used an X-Acto knife to remove the dirt stains/burns in Obi Wan and I used a marker for Anakin. Hope that helped somebody.
Love these vids, I feel like this is your original idea if not primarily yours.
Also great use of the mos eisley cantana set!
I used to use a curved lightsaber hilt to make R2's third leg
12:56 thats why I use cobi 💀
They have 2-sided stud so you can easly put 3rd legg
Good job, but I think that original hairs for Finn are better. Instead, the face is bad, we haven't never seen an happy Finn
I think minisuperheroestoday actually used the lipstick piece instead of that claw piece and it worked perfectly. Just another idea if you want a more stable third leg on r2
8:30 That leg piece is used in the Battle Ready Lucy minifig from the Lego Movie 2 cmf
Another thing I just did for S7 Ahsoka is ordered the custom printed arms that Firestar sell. Makes more of a difference than you’d think!
Woah I like those upgrades thanks for making these videos
These are really nice! Also, for R2-D2 you can use one of the small wheel rims that have studs on both sides. It comes in white.

I think the soldier 76 hair piece could work for old Obi Wan
I was half asleep when you said r2d2s 3rd leg I soon woke up in shock 😂😂😂
I'm slowly getting obsessed with this channel

For R2s third slope/leg use a unicorn horn piece with a hollow stud piece and a cheese slope!
I love this video! Please do more starwars minifigures Holly!!
Another thing you can do for r2d2 is use the lipstick piece instead of the fang, that’s what I do and it looks and works great
They have been using a grey caps for mando even though he has a brown one, so I replaced it with a cape from th e mandalorian battle pack and it looks way better
Nice upgrades. You can also use the modular police station door handles in white for R2’s third leg
Great video!!
You can use the lipstick piece on r2 d2 for his third leg so it actually connects to his body
12:57 the lipstick piece actually works better and keeps it in and doesn’t fall off
I gotta go search my pieces for one now
7:47 it’s not in the master builders set of clue city that Han has duel molded legs. Those legs are not.
6:42 it might be the camera but it looks like the knee armor is on the wrong sides
U could use a axle with a stud too for R2D2. It probably will not touch the floor but at least you can move R2D2 around😄
The solo 'build a minifigure piece' is actually WildStyle's legs from The Lego Movie 2 The Second Part
Wait, the Han Solo from 2016 Desert Skiff Escape set has the modern hairpiece, so technically you are repeating the same thing LEGO did. Also, I think the legs from Betrayal On Cloud City would work well for the character, but they cost a fortune.
The one from cloud city has the modern hair piece too
It's cool to also see you upgrade some LEGO Star Wars minifigures! Awesome purist customs! 👍
For the r2d2 third leg thing, on mine I used a unicorn horn/drill piece
This is a FANTASTIC idea
I could watch these all day...especially 👀 clone troopers
Hey holly, great video, also congrats on 38k! 🥳🥳🥳🥳
Thank you!!
for the r2d2 3rd leg I used the asajj ventress lightsaber hilt and a white cheese slope
It’s weird how Lego went all out for episode 8 and 9 but with the mandalorain and book of boba they practically went the cheap way out for them 😂. They really do the most to save money sometimes
Maybe not every ones favourite star wars movie.
I AGREE ON THE MANDO i only dont have the other mando and i always thought no one was thinking the same
What I did for r2 is I took a sucker stick and cut it and I fits perfectly
The head and hair piece from Finn 30605 polybag that was included with TFA lego games, fixes the hair and face issue
Ahsoka's head piece is actually reused and repainted from Shaak Ti. So it doesn't really look that accurate to either clone wars or rebels Ahsoka
12:55 minisuperheroestoday used lipstick piece, And it works much better
I think R2-D2 should have the feet inverted so it has a 2x3 foot print. The lipstick piece works great for the third foot.
Aaa this is my favorite series!!!
For R2D2 I just use one of those small blue piece you commonly get in sets but grey, much easier and better
I thought the beskar was pretty bright in the show and I don’t see why every leia has to have the same face
There's a hair piece you can us for Ahsoka from the Corucant Police Gunship set 75046 the hairpiece is not as long but it doesn't have the crown print on it
I have that lying around somewhere I think, but for some reason have never tried it
Count Dooku should've had dual molded legs with the upper part being dark brown and the lower one being black.
for old kenobi i think the new hair you did add actually comes from grand Moff Tarkin
The Han Solo was used in the skill barge set
Anakin also needs the brown sash thing under his actually belt
The legs for cloud city Han Solo comes from a Lego movie cmf I think the second movie
Lego: watch’s video.
Also Lego: write this down. DID YOU GET THAT?
Its a little harder to find but the lego lipstick piece works better than the fang for R2D2

That hairpiece definitely improves Finn's appearance if not his character.
Actually the helmet is so shiny to the point it reflects the darker settings, so it is closer to the original.
You could use Uncle Vernon's hairpiece from HP for Old Obi-Wan too.
The upgrade for obi wan is awsome but he kinda looks like count duku idk why
It’s just the hairs stile
I love these videos
12:27 I feel like the piece 418471 would work better for that
For R2 use the lipstick piece, I saw it on Instagram one time and it works great
han solo already has that hair piece in the betrayal at cloud city
I have found that the best way to make R2D2's third leg is to use a lego lipstick piece instead of the tooth piece
