It only takes about 3 days when deprived of all fluids. So they may have fasted into malnutrition but once their fluids were cut out they didn't have much of a chance. The brain needs water (fluids) for the neurons to fire, they would have been too lethargic to even help themselves. God rest their souls.
My sister had a horrible stepmother. A family member called All Public Services and Every family member. We were out of that situation in 1 day. FIGHT FOR ALL CHILDREN. This is breaking my heart.

I am sorry but it takes a long time to die of starvation. When my father was 92, he slipped into dementia and simply stopped eating and nothing I could do could convince him otherwise. I had in home hospice and we made him take sips of water but even he eventually refused that. It was devastating. But my point is that from the day he stopped eating to the day he passed was nearly 7 weeks and he was 92!! His heart was strong as was the likely case with these girls whose hearts would have been even stronger. They looked healthy! So, how did this happen???? No one knew what was happening? This had to have taken a very long time and they would have been skeletons at the end...there would have been no questions why any of them died. I don't get this at all!! Why wasn't the mother POUNDING ON THE DOOR and her boyfriend kicking it in?? She called CPS just once and not again??? Why didn't she have custody?? What the hell is wrong with this picture?

Now the "mother" wants answers but where was she the whole time while this happened? a person doesn't starved to death just like that! In my eyes she is just as guilty for this tragedy as the father. The truth is that She neglected those kids and they are gone because for a lot of "parents" is more comfortable to ignore than to take responsibility.
I saw in another report that they cut themselves off from the mother and refused to speak to her or see to her. She called CPS to get to them so they can see them and see what was going on.
Plus...alot of times child protective custody don't do their do diligence. A lady tried to get help for her grandson because the father's girlfriend was abusing him and making him sleep outside and starving him but they wouldn't let the grandmother have custody despite signs of abuse. The child ended up dead.

Or send the cops there to do a welfare check on your daughters. Even if they were in a cult. I trying to put myself in it, odd as it is, the girls were old enough that , maybe to mom if they refused to see her, she was trying to seem diplomatic, considerate of their wishes, while not knowing the extent things were, or would get to. The whole story is shady, so yeah, she's part, but I'm just trying to figure how it could happen , and give her the benefit of being a decent person until I know more.

It's all really sketchy, I just don't wanna be accusatory of someone who may be innocent of something, and possibly be feeling very responsible for it, from her lack of response, thinking it's entirely possible she may read what I say. There's a reasonable amount of guilt and responsibility for lack of judgement, lack of action, sometimes, doesn't make them a monster or accomplice etc. But you are right, it's at best very poor decisions, I'm also removed and using hindsight.

( I've heard of that btwn. mom and daughter), to her, made her slave, and she became more a mother to her siblings. Now I feelguilt, responsibility, foolish, neglectful, how could I have not seen what was happening? So I look at her with those thoughts on me.

CPS that does nothing, have we not heard other stories where CPS did not respond to reports and even falsified paperwork saying they did and the kids ended up missing, dead. Horrible.

Well unfortunately courts are allowing this. Years ago a parent would loose custody for attempting to alienate the other parent but now they're taking the kids out of state and the courts are doing nothing to return the children. Than the law guardians don't investigate like they're suppose to, there's no investigation by CPS even when court ordered and nobody really knows where the kids are or how they're living. Than when you file in court to have you're kids returned the other parent who kidnapped the kids makes an abuse story as to why they had to kidnap the kids and flee the state. Something's going on with CPS not sure if they're on strike or what. The law guardian will say the kids said they don't want to see you anymore even though you raised them since birth, the law guardian has no proof to show the court that the kids said it or camera footage. Idk what's going on, judges are accepting it. It's dangerous and this is why. Years ago you could call police to enforce an order now they say there's nothing they can do, if you call or go to the house they can claim you're harassing them or stalking. What does a parent do? I assure you the courts are allowing this, and doing nothing about it. One man hasn't seen his toddler since last June for no reason at all, another man said his son was taken out the country and was murdered and yet the court did nothing to help him. It's a nightmare come true, torture for a loving parent. Look how beautiful those girls were, healthy, now dead.

Sometimes I send them sad emojis if they forget me and I’m busy at work they send back love and hug emojis and that’s how we communicate sometimes. I love them so much🥹

The Hebrew Israelites are not instructing anyone to starve to death. It comes down to the fathers mental state. He clearly needed medication, and the long periods of fasting can be extremely damaging.

Starvation isn't a fast way to die especially when starting from a healthy weight. We're talking months. Usually if police are looking for someone with "intimate knowledge" of teenagers that would be their parents so why wouldn't the mother be that person? She wasn't around to be alarmed at their weight loss, she says she called CPS but they didn't get back to her. If it were my children I would be blowing that phone off the hook. Or I would be showing up at their apartment and making a scene if necessary.
I'm not absolving the father of guilt but when a parent, either parent is not involved in their children's lives and those children tragically die, how can that parent then come back saying she wants justice? Just my opinion.
From the reporting, we don't know exactly how much she did. She may have done something similar to all of those things.

we really only know what narrative the media publishes, but just guessing, i'm sure she didn't do all of those things bc you need to be seen as fit to be a parent/guardian (meaning not lashing out outside their apartment) maybe she was trying to get them back the right way but the cps system is broken, cps is usually partially to blame in these types of cases where calls were made to the right people but nothing was done.

I know where Renton is. I used to live in Kent, WA. At least she has the information about where they are and what happened to them. Unlike some parents who never know what happened to their children. It's a sad story. All are dead starved to death. What the mother has to worry about is funeral arrangements.

Sure wish it didn't cost one everything to just get out of situations (cults) like that, though losing all of one's loved ones seems to be a quite common issue with organizations like that (your loved ones don't need to die, they can just treat you like you're dead instead through extreme shunning, you no longer exist to them and you lose your entire support structure and family as well).
We truly need the social and justice systems to catch up with the ever expanding scams by all of these so-called "men and women of "God" (they're all shysters, and they often are a he// of a lot worse as well (imo).
Remember "JIM JONES CULT" the people had no communication with outside relatives or friends. Also the one IN "WAKO" TEXAS, so let's becareful judging this mother, and put ourselves in her place. She needs our prayers, not our criticism

I am very confused about the facts of this situation, and I want to know what kind of justice is the mother looking for, the father has passed away also so what type of justice can she get. Many prayers for the girls mother and family🙏🏾

Sorry, but as a mother, this mother made ONE phone call to CPS and then sat on her behind. She is almost as crappy a patent as the real father. And the step-father sticking up for her...he's a bum, too. Not one adult in these girl's lives could be bothered.
I KNOW they are in a better place. This mother wants a payout and what she deserves is shame.

Sometimes "unknown" is the best you can get. The undetermined is not a willful or lazy result. And while mom says they died in fear there is no evidence they were held against their will.

This doesn’t make sense. It takes a long time to starve to death. And wouldn’t the mother notice if the girls were under weight? And how did she loose custody of her kids?
She mostly likely hadn't had any contact with her childer for a month most likely 2 because it takes a while to starve to death and the fact that it took the dad an extra 10 days to die makes me believe they were drinking water but no food. I say all of this because it shows how neglectful this mother is. She doesn't have joint custody and was probably use to going to periods of time without speaking to or seeing her children which is why it never crossed her mind to call the police to do a wellness check on her children.

Mom had full custody of the girls but they wanted to live with father and wouldn't talk to mom. Sounds like dad brainwashed the girls into whatever religious cult he believed in.

Did you even listen to the video? The mom had custody, the girls were lured into a religious cult by their father and went to stay with him. The mother didn’t know they weren’t eating. Have you ever called the police on a runaway teen? They do nothing. Even if they bring the girls home, nothing stops them from leaving again an hour later. They obviously didn’t tell anyone they were fasting that way.

They died last December. I think 6 months of grieving is enough for her to talk normal enough, it's not like they died yesterday.
This does not make any sense at all. Where were the other relatives, teachers, neighbors that did not have any clue as to the welfare of these girls? Seems to me, the mother really did not care to know.

Sorry for her loss but I'm a mother and if I haven't seen or heard from my kids I would breaking down that door. Where was this mother while her kids were being starved to death!!!!!!!????????? I will never understand how things like this could happen. She was probably too busy worried about her boyfriend sitting next to her. Sorry but there is no excuse for this
