Maybe. But if his lasts are too short his customers will complain. What if he misses an otherwise obvious tinge on some RGB mod (bad solder joint on the green component or something)? That customer would be pissed. He should keep his tools in working condition. It's probably just a bad cap that needs to be replaced anyway. And he made a video about repairing his chair! :)
So the TG16 CD-ROM unit are exactly like the Japanese unit, but in black. That's kinda cool. It could make an interesting mix to have a Coregrafx and a US Cd-ROM² in a briefcase Unit.
GameTechUS I know I am just harassing you. Unfortunately Voultar is going under the knife and will be out of commission for a while. Thanks for the recommendation.
I'd like to see a repair video where you fix the green channel of that monitor of yours.
yeah xD
yeah xD
A cobblers children go without shoes.

Thanks for this video, perfect for what I was looking for!
I cringed every time you tossed one of those game cards around. lol
Look forward to your next junk lot video.
I've noticed that for years =) There are a lot of things flying around. Never laying things down, just dropping or tossing it =)
LOL, if they can't handle being thrown around they'd never have survived children.

Great pickup =D Did you try cleaning that none working cart yet? Just wondering was it definitely dead?
It's def dead, it was really clean anyway...
I've always wanted to get a TG-16 and its CD drive.
Same here but it cost out the arse to get either one now =/
Yeah same pretty much why I will just stick with using a pi 3.
I ended up just getting a Japanese TurboDuo since it was way cheaper instead...still got a TG16 to play US hucards though.
Good video thanks
Get a natural rubber eraser for edge connector contact cleaning. I've tried tons of cleaning methods and rubber eraser is the best.
Is that rf going into some kind of converter? it looked way too clear to be RF. I remember RF being fuzzy and muddy looking.
It looks worse in person, but tg16 always had better composite than most so maybe that's why rf looked so good to you...
Did you get the replacement gear from another system or is there somewhere you can get them?
enjoyed..even the wiggle test!
Would it be impossible to fix the broken RF jack? Or is it just something nobody is gonna care about as long as they get the dock along with it?
Yeah I could swap in a whole other rf unit, but yeah not too many are gonna care if it comes with a dock.
Mario,Sonic and......Bonk! Bonk lost that race but I like him.
Love these, keep it up!
I have the CDROM dock and system, I accidentally lost the power supply (11v 1.83A). Was wondering if you had one you would sell?
Anybody know how to repair the eject button on an American turbo duo
Sounds like a Sony drive assembly to me.
With the CD attachment, the TurboGrafx16 is hideous, but I love it at the same time.
I'm looking for a good reliable modder for a ps1 mod. please help.
Use some brasso on that card or even just some rubbing alclohal!
Dude you are killing me. You got time to repair this junk but not my duo rx issue? Hell you could have added my machine to the video. Not cool man.
It's more than no time, like I said, I don't have the part you need, voultar does...
Good response, Jason.
