Jackson, always good info that you share on your journey. As I mentioned before I've been following along with you since you started (we started our journeys around the same time). Our first flip got listed back in October a day before the election. We've had a lot of viewings and all great feedback but this market just has us all sitting and waiting in my particular area. We also priced ours on the higher side too. Looking forward to selling ours before the end of the month and starting renovation on our other property that'll be one of our rentals. Wishing you all the best and continued success on your journey as a beginner too. We got this🌟
Started to watch your videos everyday and have learned so much already. Still afraid to start but Im building on the knowledge based on your wisdom. Thank you just much for taking the time for teaching us and we are all wishing you good energy for your success. The universe got your back.
4:45 you can see it along the molding, the carpet is straight by the door, but sinks down near the middle. This is also the case on the right wall, to the right on the center electrical outlet and again on the left wall to the left of that electrical outlet.
Glad to see the comments from the contractor vid posted in this one! Lots of good advice. I run a business in aviation with lots of moving parts and you are definitely right about the emotion. I always try to take a step back and spend 15-20 mins in the sauna or go for a workout before I try and formulate a response to anything. I hope to take the same skills to flipping once the funds allow but glad to see it mostly worked out. Hope the attendance issues get fixed too Edit: well I finished the video. I'd ditch the contractor. Plenty of hungry crews out there looking for work. Not even responding is unacceptable
I’m a painter in Wisconsin and I work with a lot of House flippers and landlords and we get to know them pretty well. I get what you’re talking about things just going wrong and saying you can’t win them all. It sucks but it’s so true
I have a similar situation in my primary residence, which will eventually become a rental. The master bedroom and laundry room are in the former attached garage... so they are on a slab. The slab has broken off and fallen in about three spots. I was considering using the self-leveler, but now I'm thinking concrete is the way to go. I've also considered getting a slab-jacker to fix it... but I'm concerned about the act of lifting the slab would cause other problems (cracks in drywall, broken windows, etc.). Thoughts?
Where im from you have to disclose foundation work and this clearly counts as foundation work. Foundation issues are the only issues I will not touch because of that.

Brother you gotta start subbing this work out and go direct to seller to actually get discounts.

Putting in the work...
Just had floor leveling done on my flip, was I would say around 1200 sqft of floor leveling. It was 10 bags at $85 a bag.

All that work and time to break even? Dam
Flat fee list it. Realtors suck. or get your license
