I definitely hope so! lol, but thank you I'm so glad you enjoyed it! :)
This is by far the most elaborately explained hair typing. I've really struggled for edges with my hair...thanks girl
My curl type is 4A/4b and my hair porosity is low porosity and my curly hair density is thick and medium
Love it and love that you know so much about your hair! 😊💕 What’s your experience been maintaining it?
@@CollegeCurls I have a wash day step I pre poo detangle with conditioner then I rinse it out and then I shampoo my scalp with a moisturizing sulfate-free shampoo then I rinse it out and I deep condition for about 15 minutes and then I rinse it out and then I moisturize And detangle my curly hair one more time and then I put it in my go-to protective style two strand twist
I love the Animaetions this was a great video every informative.
Thank you, I'm so glad you like it! I will definitely have more coming :)

Thank you Payton! :) Miss you !
Thanks you , coily /curly 3c
THIS WAS SO educated and understanding the curly hair pattern...
Thank you! ☺️💕 I’m glad you enjoyed it!
This was perfect and easy to understand thank u so much
I read that type 3c is when the hair starts growing up and out like an Afro instead of downwards like 3a and b, anyone know how accurate that is?
My hair is 3c/4a (mostly 3c) but it grows down and out.
super cool & informative!
Excellent! 👍🏽
Great work. 💙
Thank you so much! 😊💕 Happy you enjoyed it!
4B & 4C all day, I use to hate my natural but now I love it.
Greatly appreciate this detailed breakdown of the hair typing system. My only critique of the hair system would be that there is gradual progression of curls in types 1-3. Bigger curls become smaller curls labeled a b c. With type 4 it’s never explained why there is a jump in a pattern from curl(a) to zig-zag(b) back to curl(c). Shouldn’t 4b just be a smaller curl than 4a and not zig-zag? Maybe, Andre walker was really looking at another hair type ( Type 5) and just called it 4b because he was biased against deeper study into the kinkier hair types?🤔
sooo helpful and informative thank you so much :))
So glad you liked it! 😊 Thank you for your support! 💕
So so helpful!
Great video!!!😊
Glad you liked it!! :)
Your animations are so cute!
this was a great viedo
I honestly didn't know this was a thing until my friend that was black was trying to help me. I told her I wanted to work on my curls and she asked what my hair type was. She gave me tips and even told me about hot oil treatments. I don't know why we never hear about this much as a white person? 🤷♀️ Thank you so much for the info!!! BLESSED BE 🙏☮️
Its honestly a waste that companies use to get ppl to buy their products. Etc. As a black girl, many of us have moved past this. It was in the height of the natural videos on UA-cam but its not really useful.
This should get way more views
Hoping it will one day 😊 Thank you! 💕
I clicked on this so quick lol
You did, first comment lol! I appreciate all of your support! :)
CollegeCurls I started my natural hair journey a year ago, and honestly your channel’s been beyond helpful ❤️
2a got some hips
3c/4a and some very wavy spots
That’s kind of what my pattern is like in some areas too ☺️
@@CollegeCurls black hair is so interesting!
This is so helpful my type is 2b - 3c
So glad you enjoyed it! :) Thank you so much for watching and commenting!
The Andre Walker System doesn’t work for me as I have s-type hair with shrinkage
Someone need to add the wavy curl pattern in between the 3b/3c curls. I have some areas on head that are neither 3b or 3c because they simply falls in a wavy way no matter what. But they’re tighter than type two hair. I don’t know if that makes sense. I’m constantly been told that they’re either 3b or 3c but they form in a wavy way no matter what I do. Do any of you on here feel that way about your hair?
I have 4 A, B and C in my head ☺️
Love it! Thank you for watching and commenting! :)
Thank you!💕 I really thought that my hair type is 1*something* but it's actually 2b❤️
You’re welcome ☺️ Glad it helped 💕
I'm transitioning but my growth looks like 4b/4a with some 4c
I'm transitioning and coils?? I have none
sometimes I have curly/ wavy hair but most of them are straight like all of it.....is straight and I dont know where I stand and its extremely matted
please help
Are you just beginning in transitioning? If so, it will be awhile before you start to see a curl pattern. And even then, it will be hard to tell what your curl pattern truly is with your relaxed ends pulling your hair. I suggest looking at old pictures of yourself if you were natural when you were younger or even looking at your mom’s hair for some idea of what your pattern MAY be like 💕
3c
4C me
I still don’t know my type hair. Can anyone help me? I think I’m 4b or 4c
I think I may be 3a 3b.
It can be hard to tell sometimes, being in the ballpark is good enough lol. Thank you so much for watching and commeting! :)
Front hair is 4c and the back hair is 3b
I'm still confused, some people say 4c hair has no/low definition and the tiny curls are 4b but now it's the other way around 😂 I need help
according to Walker I have 3A
